🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Week 4 Flower (11/24 - 11/30): Well, well, well... This was the week of thanksgiving and both of the kids parents were out of the state! We had to call in uncle Marcus to come and tend to them. We set him up with the second batch of tea on 11/18 (I'm sure I've given them like at least 4-7 batches of tea so far even though the feeding instructions said start during week 3...) but honestly, I feel like it was a good decision. The canopy isn't as leveled as I would like it to be, butttt there are ton's of bud sites coming up. I did a healthy defoliation (that honestly scared me).. but I think it was for the better removing any overlapping leaves, lower branches that were not receiving much light, and new branches below the top three nodes that were stretching to get light. The new branches were the hardest to remove, as it was hard to tell whether they could live on as new bud sites... but remembering that most of those were beneath the top of the canopy and that all energy is transferred energy.. guided our defoliation. We were home for exactly 24 hours between 11/17 and 12/1 and that is when we prepared another tea for the plants to get 11/27 from there they got one more watering of plain water before another tea to kick off week 5. The stretch is in full effect and they might get a little taller, but we can clearly see where the buds will be packing on weight soon.

The gushers is a perfect indica biased specimen. She is shorter then her room mates but holds a perfect shape. Lovely vertical check not stems forming up 9 really nice mains and a few lowers that I think will push through to give some good bud.. I'm away in America doing the formula 1 so the updates are from photos and messages sent from my wife back home who is looking after the ladies.. No issues really apart from higher RH then we would like but she has gone in and defoliated a bit and things seem to have settled. I'm awa until November 1st as I'm doing the Mexico formula 1 after this.. Updates will be a little light on detail I'm afraid and images will be generic from the room.. Thanks growmies. Days 99 - 105 (from sprout) 8/30/24 - 9/5/24 Raised light above canopy of The Good Shit - PAR on main tops is 800-700+ while remaining lowers are seeing closer to 450-500 Loompa's Headband x TK fading to a close this week - trichome check starting to show amber on the bracts Sweet 16 S1 now starting senescence and a little fading on some fan leaves The Good Shit showed signs of some overwatering, so a newly made FPE was added to feed schedule to assist the microbiology Light schedule lowered to 10 hrs this week IPM: Applied enzymes (tweetmint) at a rate of 0.5 fl oz to 1/2 gallon and sprayed on cover crops + mulch throughout the week. Significant decrease in pest population, now needs a high quality compost top dressing for long term correction

Day 43 - Checked PPM 870. Plant is 37 inches tall. Day 44 - Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of additives Bud Candy Sensizym Big Bud Nirvana and Rhino Skin. PPM is 1,250. Plant is 41 inches tall. Day 45 - Checked PPM 600. Plant is 42 inches tall. Day 46 - Checked PPM 635. Plant is 45 inches tall. Day 47 - Added 15 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of the 5 additives. PPM is 1,590. Plant is 47 inches tall. Day 49 - Checked PPM 668. Plant is 50 inches tall.

Day 36: I really underestimated the strech boys. Had to move my growbox in the air because otherwise they would get burned by my HPS lamp. The one who started getting sick has grown huge. I don't really know if that is a good thing. My preferred one (with the purple badge) is doing again the best I think. He kept small but seems to have much more branches with buds growing. Anyway, the lamp I used to flower was a huge mistake. It is to hot and it doenst cover enough space so I have to move the plants to close to each other. I hope they still manage to survive the heat because I'm currently not at home. Thanks for reading!

Plant is starting to look really nice and purple! Just been dunking the solo into water with feed to keep it moist! That’s the hardest part. Otherwise, just keeping her from falling over is the only thing! ✌️💚🌿💨

Here's my current grow I stared for this fall season. 2x Blueberry 420 auto on the left and 2x Super skunk auto on the right. Using kind soil with my previous grow soil and foxfarm ocean forest on top. Sprinkle with alfalfa seeds and crimson clovers seeds...using 2 closet case LED. Let's see how this goes.
