Very easy to grow, had absolutely no problems (other than me snapping off 3 colas during weeks 6-9, although me being an idiot is not Barneys fault). Lovely purple colours all round, ice, spike, 2 days of dark followed by a wet trim. Hung to dry for 7 days. Harvested the small plant first as it was more mature, about two days between the two. Will post first smoke report in a week, second in 3 weeks. Will definitely grow again.

Grow Questions

how to deal with watering plants while on holiday? I will be gone for 1 week, 1 plant is in 8L the other in 20L coco/perlite 70:30 mix. They will roughly be 3 weeks into flower when i'm away, i've considered using 6-8 ceramic water spikes hooked up to a 5L bottle. any ideas? thx

Hello Truro ! You systeme will run out of water too soon with the ceramic water spikes , It's summer (drying) and your plant will get bigger so will drink more during your vacation. The wicking technique is good (passive hydro) but you need to put a big water container for at least 3 weeks (math will helps). My better method in that kind of situation is to ... ask your bestfriend to do it 😂 , sound simple but it is in fact 😝 ! But seriously I would recommande you the "Tray" method , here is a link to ir : www.youtube.com/watch ! Here are links to tutorials : www.youtube.com/watch (wicking tech), www.youtube.com/watch (tray tech part 2) Hope it will help a bit 😁

Love peyote cookie . It’s a great plant that has lots of branches. Standing above mine I did previously they looked like a spoked wheel. Branches everywhere. Good luck and hope to see pics . When you say stretch and bury, do you mean you will re pot with the stem below the soil top ? I’ve got a baby peyote critical that’s stretched and was toying with this idea . Does it work out ?
Truro
Trurocommented6 years ago
@Jollyfarmreview, hi man! thank you for commenting, yes that would work perfectly fine! yes that's exactly what i mean; as Kirr put it, whatever part of the stem you bury will eventually start growing roots so if you're having a stretch problem then definitely do so. If you cant find any rooting hormone or it's a little out of your budget, rhizotonic will help speed things up. Good luck! 😉

Kirr38commented6 years ago
It does, the stem will begin growing roots after sometime...just rub a lil rooting hormone or ground cinnamon in the stem before the re-pot to speed that process up some.

@OutForReal, believe me the colours are mesmerizing, at this point i'm a few days into the harvest window but I think I'll wait until day 60-65 atleast before chopping, no point coming this far to become impatient. mate do it, it is so good that I would consider growing it again right after this one finishes if I had the seeds!

Truro
Trurocommented6 years ago
@PukkaBluez, not quite sure what the 49 means mate but it's meant to be like an eco-friendly version of their range, it only uses 99W! has excellent light penetration! i'll take a look at yours mate, hope you have a good grow - shoot me a PM if you ever need any help 👌

Truro
Trurocommented6 years ago
@gellrin_greenthumb, cheers dude, glad you like it! i'm limited on vertical space so i've had to train them to stay short and bushy - topping and LST-ing have been great for that. looking forward to seeing how you train yours - good luck (:

yeah iam with you on that part eco ahahaha , as if it only uses 99w I got Mars hydro 300w actual watt is 120 from wall , how far would you keep the Mars hydro my plants seem to react better to the hps 400 now had to switch to that with all stress they've had and yeah will do thanks

I am a little constricted in width due to the closet I've set this up in and the amount of plants I ended up placing. I have a small 120×40x40 cm grow tent I still need to set up as well but I'm not sure that will suffice for 1 or 2 full grown plants.Any advice on training is always welcome
