This plant way outgrew my expectations!!! She was trimmed back to nothing, and still could've used a better trimming.

Another week down look at that canopy 😍 I think the stretch has finished and there’s no need for the second net so it’s come down. Not a lot a work this week a bit of defo and top dressing. Yeah for the first time this grow no a lot to say I guess……. Till next week let get it 💪🏽

Due to repot next week. Heats at a alltime high low 30s but seem to be doin ok, growing well off the allpurpose MG.

Comeing on great see a couple seeds lower down but no more balls no where. So happy days !

New reservoir on the 2nd with Flowering nutrients, still at 50% of recommended dosage - and I'll probably stick with it, even at this strength I've seen a few burnt tips. Used dechlorinated tap water this time, something I'll probably stick with as well. Also added some bud trainers that I got from amazon, they're quite cheap and I've been liking it so far, although not the best canopy, it's something I'm learning a lot and enjoying. And a side note: Using autopots feels like cheating. These two are topped and still are producing some enormous branches! Glad I did top them in the end, else I'd be stressing a lot over space right now. -- update Decided to give them a heavier defoliation/lollipopping to improve light penetration and to help them focus on the bigger branches instead of larf. We'll see how well they'll respond to that.

Hello Tokers and Growers! Welcome to another great Indica adventure! Some of you already know I love me some Indica. 😁 My current favorite Indica is Cream Caramel from Sweet Seeds but I decided to try something new this run. Sweet Zenzation (SWS84) also from Sweet Seeds. She's my only Indica dominant cultivar in the tent so I'll be taking extra care of this one. Strain characteristics: Sweet Zenzation derives from a cross between an elite clone of Zkittlez combined with a specially selected Grape Ape clone, which is one of the strains used to develop the original Zkittlez. The result is a predominantly indica genetic hybrid. It produces a large amount of resin-soaked flowers. It is both relaxing and stress-relieving, yet it also stimulates the imagination and conversation, an effect that is normally associated with sativa strains. The flowers have a high terpene content, an exquisite aroma and sweet taste, with hints of fruit flavoured candies, hardwood undertones, shades of lemon, cypress and subtle aromatic peppers. Variety SWS84 Genetics: Zkittlez x Grape Ape Type: Feminized Indica: 70% / Sativa: 30% THC: 16-23% · CBD: 0,2% Indoor Yield: 450-650 g/m2 Outdoor Yield: 400-700 g/plant Indoor Blooming: 9 weeks Outdoor Harvest: late September, early October Expectations & Training method: First time growing this strain but Sweet Seeds have always given me sweet and savory yields so I’m guessing this one won’t be any different. She smells so sweet and citrusy it makes my mouth water whenever I check her, I think she’s not got long to go, every bud is nice and big by my standards grown with no issues throughout just in flush now to get ready for harvest time. Patience is key

Left these ones out a bit to long and not nearly enough love, so they suffered a bit but that's ok. I am going to experiment and try water curing the buds. First time ever using this method and I think it will make a good little project. No idea how to it will turn out, been reading it will remove most of the smells and that sucks but the smoke is very clean and light. Only time will tell. take about 7 days to fully water cure. bud washing helped get rid of a lot of extra that stuck to them outside.

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . 8/31 I harvested Auto Opium today. This is 7-10 days early. I intended to grow her inside the tent, but when she stretched quickly i had to take her outside. This did not give her time to harden off before going fully into flower. Then my area went into extreme heat over 110 for extended weeks. High heat and humidity. She couldn't handle this. Then Hurricane Debby whipped her back and bent her main stem in several places. Repaired with chopsticks and electrical tape. Her limbs were thin and spindly, I tried to support with garden hoops but many stems just bent regardless. One bent and cut off its water & nutrients and died. All in all Auto Opium did not transition well from tent to outside. If I had understood her structure before her grow was underway, I would have done some topping or mainlining. I'm watching several growers demonstrate training techniques that I will try. You know you you are. Many thanks to you. We had some cooler nights in the last week or so which allowed leaf color changes from lime green💚 to purples💜 and some reds. I see some lavender in her buds. Trichomes are mostly milky white, so a bit early. Harvest shows, many long, hollow stems which couldn't support her own weight. To be eco-friendly, you could use these for beverage straws 😅. Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm.
