~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week eight from seed and the seventh week of veg for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and having a somewhat slow start! It rained steadily today so my watering duty was taken care of by Mother Nature! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her along with spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap seems to have taken care of the attacks on her leaves which has improved her vigor noticeably. 5/27- I watered the GG4 Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches, preparing them to start spreading out through the trellis net. 5/29- Wow, two months ago this little lady broke ground and look at her now! I cannot wait to see how she'll be looking in another two months! I'll be getting ready to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days with some 4-4-4 and worm castings, then she'll really start to take off! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

Harvested BB2 and GG2 on day 84 with mostly cloudy/milky trichomes and scattered amber because I prefer the Sativa daytime buzz. I think these two are further along because they showed the deficiencies. Both were flushed twice within a week and chopped with a dry pot. Last nutrients were day 73. Nothing but PH 6.4 water since day 76. I expect to harvest BB1 and GG1 at around day 92, checking trichomes everyday. I'm guessing the yield will be greater for the second two. Will post harvest pics and videos for each set of two plants after drying and getting dry weights for each plant.

01/19/2022 She was a he. And he will be used for some pollination. Not sure what both parents were, but growing nice, stem rubs stinky and definitely has fuzzy Melon smell. Kinda reminds me of Tangie and model glue. Hopefully a good breeder will hit some choice branches on Blue Matter F2 and test the offspring. If interested Fuzzy Mellon is Forbidden Fruit x Watermelon Zkittlez bred by Dying Breed Seeds & 3rd Gen Family. Which is good genetics imo. But the wild card is who is th daddy?... Jerry springer show lol According to leafly both parent are heavily on indica side so his stretch and node length points to a sativa daddy? I never seen an indica with such large internodal spacing. I know males will be stretching out more but still large compared to other males I've grown out. So hope you follow along to see how his offspring will develop, I will pollinate one branch of my favorite Blue Matter F2, and save some pollen for my Biscotti Skunk, Grape Skunk, and lemon og.

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of flowering. The first pictures are of the tent opening in the morning. And I put it back each night. That allows me to go into flowering when I want. One more week of veg to go, before I turn it over to flowering. And it will be around August 7th to August 15 when I'll harvest. The plants have filled out their space now. and most are growing over the edges of the table. I plan to get growing tips going up this week. with a big prune/trim about 3 days before I switch. I like to let the plants heal for 3 or 4 days before going into flowering. To get over the shock I caused by trimming them up. Then they can go into flowering easier and turn over faster if they don't have to heal first. The smell when I open the tent is like slightly metallic, a bit sour ish, like some good Afghani hashish smells. Each plant got an extra minute of nutrient solution in the morning this week with no leaking out the bottom this week. And they will get another minute in a couple of weeks. That will make 4 minutes a day of food, and I feel with my fingers, when they feel dry around the edges they get a gallon or 2 of rainwater. They look healthy. No signs of bugs or pest. When I was opening the tent a few days ago I saw a ladybug, just sitting under one of the lights, getting warm 😉 and helping. My friend Jerry, who you've seen in other diaries, gave me lots of bamboo, some 7 feet long, to make a sort of netting to hold up the buds rather than tie them to the tent pole roof. OK. Stuff to do. See ya later. Chuck.
