23.08 These girls with co2 and so much light exploded in growth and are really packed in the tent. Never had such density. I will defoliate hard after this week and hope it will turn out fine. Fingers crossed cause the yield can be huge.

All girls were 6-7 nodes high I clipped them at the nearest nodes that were close together and healthiest. I’ve heard it’s all ab the fee and I felt like that was the best choice! I’m super excited to be doing this and I’ll be doing them both differently strain specific. Glad to have the tent up and running again it was nice to take a week off during the holiday season. Can’t wait to get these girls off to a great start only thing I wasn’t excited ab was the fact I know they came from a tent that had a small infestation so I’ll be treating them as soon as they bounce back for preventative measures for a few weeks. Once again super excited and a good trial run before I get some seeds in the soil since these are clones once again. Happy growing y’all and I’ll take more pics here in the next few days to see how they react to the major haircut. Update: All reacting very well to topping! First time doing this so very exciting!!! The dosi I’d have to say is reacting better than the Maui which I thought was going to be the other way around since it’s sativa vs indica. I’ll be doing nebula and nugbucket mailing/manifold of each strain and recording everything pretty well. I’m more excited about getting this spider farm 2000 light instead of using the bestva 1000 either way it’s going to produce more and I like the white light instead of the blurple. Super excited ab this run!!!!

And here we are at the end of this magnificent journey on the spaceship Black Orchid Automatic, a phenomenal strain from Zamnesia, it is the last beauty harvested more or less at the same time as the others but shown separately for the amount of important photos that I am taking. Please take a look at the macros (micro) and let me know what you think. This week I'm talking about the harvest of the third and last lady, the purple one, very purple to be clear. She grew a lot, she matured quite quickly and produced a lot of resin. The flowers are quite hard and of a wonderfully wonderful color. The smell is very particular probably from the purple / cookies / cake area but the strong point of this beauty are the trichomes. The girl offers a park of trichomes of a disarming beauty, the more I shot the more I wanted to shoot, I was left speechless for real. We have purple stuff in the stem, purple noba in the gland, totally purple stuff in the stem with amber gland, glands in various shades of purple. Wonder for real. There is still something transparent but it had to come venia, like animals feel earthquakes I start to feel the mold in advance, or maybe I'm paranoid, anyway we are mostly cloudy, something amber and a thousand shades of purple and something even transparent. For me it's fine like this baby. Harvest time, in the drying room. I strongly recommend you to try this strain both in the feminized version and this one in the photoperiod version, if this plant doesn't convince you wait to see the next two that I will publish in the next two weeks but they have already been harvested. The taste is still CALI in sense of purple part of cookies family. We feel like we're teleporting to Los Angeles with Snoop making a blunt, incredible California flavor, to be clear in a coffee shop in Amsterdam you would pay 25 to 30 euros per gram. Everything has always been grown with Plagron Pro Mix soil which I found exceptional, I was used to using Light Mix but I had probably underestimated the power and cleanliness of going 100% organic. It has an absorption coefficient that I find very pleasant, it dries with less aggressiveness than the light mix so you will not have that phenomenon that when the plant is too dry the water goes down. With this soil it is more difficult as it is more difficult to have midges. In my MODEST opinion pre-fertilized are fertile ground for ground midges with this soil I have had ZERO GNATS, before ever. Using a 50/50 mix of Purple Cow IndiCanja living soil and Fox Farms Ocean Forest, just ph'd water using lemon juice to bring down my tapwater and mammoth P microbes. I brew teas with Nature's living soil auto flower line. Seeds in the soil 4/17...I plant directly into the soil without presoaking or letting a taproot grow, I've had 100% success rate so far so I'll keep doing it I think

Welcome to another season of Grow N' Smoke! This is my 9th grow but my second diary. Luckily I came upon some seeds that I had been desperate to try, Cookies Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds. Shout out to James and RQS, they deliver to the USA now! I got my seeds sooner than I thought and was able to start my grow last Sunday 2/19/23. It's now Saturday 2/25/23 and we are off to good start. A 100% Germination! How awesome! I'm really excited about this grow and I am very hopeful of the results. I hope that you enjoy this journey with me and that we can help each other along the way.

I made the defoliation maybe it was kinda late too.

So far I've had two plants pop out from the 8 seeds I threw in the soil (2-30 gallon pots). A ninth seed was germinated later in the season. These are seeds I obtained from the Grease Monkey OG clone I grew last year. I don't mind getting a few seeds from the bees pollinating my plants. I can't say how good that strain is; I recommend it to everyone. I'm happy to have some cross-pollinated offspring. The soil is mostly FFOF, Happy Frog, Roots Organics, some worm castings, worms and whatever has been living in the soil. I recycle my soil and just add more stuff when necessary. I'll try and keep updates this season.
