Normally I would use paper towel method but this time decided to try germination in propagator directly to substrate. 100% success. First girl showed in about 48h after planting and second maybe 12h after. 07/10 Seeds planted. Propagator at 22 degrees and 90% humidity. 09/10 Day 1 Girls popped through the soil. 13/10 Day 5 Xena and Athena comfortably transported to new 5 star spa resort and they do like new 14l queen beds 15/10 Day 7 End of germination week. The size isn't awesome, but the high ammount of buds full of crystals plus the strong sweet aroma makes them awesome. Buds are growing and fattenning very very well. This week i added a boost of HomeMade CO2, i never measured the results of this invention so i can't give CO2 measurements. This method is widely used in home aquariums and there is where it comes from. For those interested i'm going to write here more detailed instructions. The 4 liters i've made will last for about 2 weeks. ---NEEDINGS--- - 250 ml Bottle - 6~10 l Bottle - 400 g Sugar / l water - 1 Envelope of organic baker's yeast / l water (CHEMICAL WILL NOT WORK) - 3 mid plastic tubes 40~50 cm - 1 short plastic tube 5~6 cm - 4 tube adapters - Hot glue to seal adapters The process of creating CO2 is simple, mix water, organic yeast and sugar in a bottle, and the sugar will free CO2 in the process of fermenting to alcohol due to the yeast. 1. Make a hole in the center of the big bottle cap, insert an adapter and secure it with hot glue 2. Make 3 holes in the small bottle cap and glue the other 3 adapters 3. Link both caps with one of the mid tubes and insert the other tubes on free adapters 4. Insert a short tube in the bottom of the small cap in the adapter that came from the big cap 5. You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way because with these few steps, you could have a 99% of success if seeds are fresh (we store our seeds in a dark and sealed container in the fridge and they last years!). This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY technique BUT you have to respect some little and easy steps: 1️⃣take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; 2️⃣dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, 3️⃣take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face the wet side down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; 4️⃣spray the dry side 3 times. 5️⃣put your "sandwich/es" in a sealed dark container of a sufficient size to store them, I use a plastic container (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30cm .It contains about 8 "sandwitches". 6️⃣store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C (23/24 °C are optimal)and more. REMEMBER: More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster. 6/8 Stormed last night. Rained most of the day plants look good. They have really acclimated and are taking off with bright green new growth everywhere. Potassium bicarbonate seems to be doing it's trick and the nute schedule seems ok too. I'll update later with pictures 6/9 Raining again today. Poured last night. Branches were flipped over due to hard rain and wind. Oh well maybe the super cropped themselves. Better weather is ahead. I've seen no negative effects from adding the nutes. I'll have to look back and see when I past fed. I took 4 cuttings (2 GDP, 1 9LB Kush, 1 NYCSK) but apparently I accidentally deleted WHEN I took them from this diary. Oh well. They have new growth and are attempting to root in jiffy pellets. 6/11 It stormed the past few days. Branches were limp almost like the sheet rain and high winds super cropped my plants. Once the sun came out they recovered nicely though. Fed two gallons today. Was hesitant due to the amount of rain but it's time to feed. Fimmed some blueberry tops and defoliated what needed it. 6/13 After a couple of sunny days the plants are really growing at a rapid rate. No problem with nutes. pH is in range. Growth is a nice green color. I'm surprised after the beating they took and the sparcity after some defoliation. WPM has been kept at bay for the most part. I pulled off a couple small interior leaves and spot treated around the areas that seemed to have the WPM. This method has seemed to work well. I did notice that I may have a slight mite problem on one of my GDPS. If so it's very early and it would be hard for them to keep numbers up in this harsh environment. Either way I need to continue my IPM for months anyway and was going to use BT but I may look into using spinosid. I can't remember how effective it is at treating mites. I'm not worried anyway. It's happened before with the two spotted mites but even the couldn't really build up numbers in these rough conditions. Anyhow I'll keep this updated. 6/14 Weather has been in the eighties and the plants have loved it. Hard rain and wind haven't damaged the plants yet (knock on wood). I'm planning on doing a IPM spray tonight. If I do I'll update.

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

4 of 12 Buds are finish with 20% amber Trichomes. The rest need a little more time. Smell is amazing, Whole Plant is very very sticky! Only the 4 Buds have a weight of 65gr wet..

Week 16 Nothing really moved this week. It’s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment … waiting for blossoms and flowers 🙄🙏. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now it’s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didn’t touch spiderwebs…good insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Blackberry Moonrocks is still healthy; no problem of deficiency or pests, diseases. This strain is resistant and vigorous: no more stretch, waiting for flowering.lot of blooming sites along the branches.

In this breeding adventure, I can say the best taste and smell quality.

Taking a heavy heat wave in my area... so my girls are beeing cooked alive I hate to see them like this... I already added more CO2 to help them compensate a bit. Well the clones are beeing flushed for almost 5 days now in 4-6 days im gonna put them into 48 h darkness and harvest wish me the best =) Trichomes are looking evenly brownish all over the plants now just like I love them :P Also trying out the Clean fruits for flushing will see what it can do for me=)

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again. But lucky me, only leaves got burnt - no top got harmed 👍 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information: The word synergy is a business term first quoted in the early eighties to describe mutual enhancement through interaction or cooperation, where the end result gained is greater than the sum of the parts used. Testing 9 seeds I expeckt 2 winners 2 losers and 5 ok let’s see how she rolls! The plant the seeds and pollen cam from a seedling I grew from a seed found in a Bag of SFV that J was given 3 of I back crosses the best with itself !! 3 up already!! 6 playing peekaboo 7 of 9 up 2-3 look hands down better plants !! 8 out of 9 up! 9 up 3 losers and 6 to chose a few winners from!! 9 seams to be good number to ensure I find one exception copy usually 2-3 First cut down to the too3 all 9 did germinate!! Big Fat Wedding Cake has been switched to just ph water. I did burn her with too much nutrition. Half my plants loved the dose, and the other half didn't. Overall she has grown great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. The colas are frosty and smell good. Mt next update will be her harvest. I reduced light strength to 60 percent as well.
