Somewhat slacking with detailed photos from this week, been busy with the holidays/ family etc. hopefully should have a little more time to take some good ones for next week.. Not much to say, they are getting quite big! some more lower branches and leaves were removed and I've been watering every other day, about .5-.75 gal per plant until I see some run off and the top looks evenly moist. End of week 1 of flower and there are Lots of white pistils, a pleasant smell (controlled by my filter/vent) and some major stretching happening on the strongest branches. Already raised the light by a few inches twice now too keep the distance over 12 inches from these stretchy ones! 😏 Also found a large healthy looking seed in my grinder that I've saved (Mac 1 supposedly, its good smoke)

Wow. The buds are filling in. The trichomes are starting to pile onto the buds. There aren't many trichomes on the leaves yet, but the buds are thick. The high heat and low humidity has been a struggle. Lots of fan leaves losing the fight with heat, but the buds are looking great. This one is gonna be well over a pound. Well over

What an amazing strain, the plant purple all around giving these amazing range of colored leaves. The buds are super tight to the touch and heavy filled with trichomes. The past week I only gave plain water. Giving her the time to use all the nutrients already introduced. I was thinking about using Flawless Finish but decided to keep it purely PLAGRON nutrient from start to finish. The competition deadline is close so I hope you all enjoy some of the pictures I was able to share. Next week I'll harvest, but already I can't tell that she will produce great buds once dried. 🌿 Grow Update: Week 6 of Flower 🌸 Hey growers, We're cruising through Week 6 of flowering, and I gotta say, things are looking solid in my grow setup. This being my first rodeo, I'm pretty stoked with how it's all turning out. The plant's rocking a deep green, which could be a bit of nitrogen overload or just her natural vibe. Regardless, she's thriving, Ive been so stupid letting her get so big in a 5gallon i wouldn't be surprised if she is rootbound.. Got a bit of a snag with some lower bud sites getting overshadowed by the top canopy. Didn't want to push my luck with more defoliation i cant really at this point of flower, but hey, it's all a learning experience next round, I'll be more surgical. Already thinking about the next grow — tossing in a couple of plants in 5-gallon pots, keeping veg short and sweet at 4-5 weeks. Gonna tighten up the training game for sure. Despite the lower buds not getting as much love, the top ones are coming along nicely. She's a thirsty one, so I'm hitting her with 4 liters at lights on and another 2 liters a few hours before lights off to keep that coco from drying out. Got about 3-4 more weeks to go, and I'm itching to see how it all pans out. Can't wait to see the final yield and taste the goods. The GSCs finally hit their flowering stretch and turned from little ninja stars to nice little bushes. I think my low Humidity may have stunted growth a bit - dry winters in so cal. Overall they are doing super nice, and should start stacking and stinking here any day now. I moved them under the big light in the big tent and all the plants are reaching for it like mad. This Mars 2 1600 is a beast of a light.

Wir haben sie auch wieder stark entlaubt damit die luft besser zirkulieren kann und sich kein Schimmel bildet. -Tag 67 Heute haben wir sie mit 2000 ml Wasser gegossen, versetzt mit 1,5 ml Calmag, 5 ml Canna PK 13/14, 1 ml Plagron Green Sensation und 1 ml Plagron Power Buds. Der EC-Wert lag bei 1.460 mS/cm und der pH-Wert bei 6,2. 👽 -Tag 69 Heute haben wir sie mit 2000 ml Wasser gegossen, angereichert mit 1,5 ml Calmag, 6,5 ml Canna PK 13/14, 1 ml HY-PRO Epic Blast sowie 0,32 ml HY-PRO Generator. Der EC-Wert betrug 1,480 mS/cm und der pH-Wert lag bei 6,2. 😎

So far, so good. The Dr amazingly grows similar sized buds above the light level as she grows buds behind the lights. Buds are small in general. I fertigate her once a day, 0.4 g/L of the base fertilizer. Inflow conc is 550 ppm (ca,. 1100 uS/cm), and I think I may be slightly underfertilizing. I plan to raise the concentration 150 ppm within two weeks and see if she tolerates that amount. What's fantastic in these long flowering strains, that it seems one has all the time in the world to plan and make changes, in the end, there's so much time to recuperate in case of an inconvenience! Day 107 (29-12) It consoles me that even the infortunate grow disadventures of mine with this "stretchy sativa" I think the journey will turn out successful. Let's some in April! (perhaps somewhat earlier, I dunno) If not for yields, which I reckon thwy may not be as large as I wanted (if for big yield was the original intention of growing this strain I wouldn't grow this one specially -which is know not ot be a big yielder, it was the desire of the experience of growing this noble and beautiful landrace (heirloom) sativa. by myslef...and I have 4 more seeds ;) I raised EC with 0.5 g/L Bloom fertilizer per liter solution, keeping all the other ingredients constant, in concentration and order of mixing. Every day I have the extra work of inspecting the colas to see whether they are being damaged by heat and eventually apart them from the cobs, etc., but in general, I thank God this could have been even much worse. Luckily she resists both the high indoor temperatures (31 ºC by this date, when outside temperatures are of that order), and pro-silicate additive may have been useful to resist heat, as Grotek claims.

Jun 10: Getting droopy. Watered less than half gallon of Ph 6.7 water. Jun 12: That watering really gave a growth spurt! Gonna bump the humidity up to a max of 81% til we get further into veg. Jun 13: Plant is tall enough to tie some good looking limbs down and also the main stem to the side. Jun 15: Buckets are getting lighter, but the soil is moist, meaning my humidity was too high. That lead to some mold and algae that I will treat with spray Neem oil. Smells terrible, but should do the trick. Lowering humidity to 65% for a bit, then will probably get closer to 75% over the next few days.

Haven't really been updating much as traction is low and I keep hella notes upstairs and on paper. Flowers forming, slight stretch began days ago. Looking and smelling good. May need to hook up the external RES with how massive the root system has gotten. Main stem is over an inch thick. She's drinking ALLOT and eating well. F Day19 - RES clean/change. Mixed 3gal M-4.6ml/g G-4.6ml/g B-6.6ml/g PH'd to 6.2 since it's been dropping last few days on its own and needing adjustment. F Day23- stripping day... added a goodmorning vid of the Booshberry prior to stripping it. Will update post pics/vid this afternoon.

7/11 - Top dressed all with Foundation Grow, Foundation Uprising, Oregonism XL, and Nitro Bat Guano. Watered w/ RO water & Extreme Serene. They are looking great. 7/12 - Fed with liquid nutrients today followed by some selective defoliation. Also adjusted the LST and added a little coco mulch. 7/14 - Watered with plain RO water and added Mosquito bits for pest prevention. Also did a foliar spray of Ancient Amber. They look very happy and healthy. JH2, aka Struggling Jack, is fully recovered and is actually my biggest, fullest of the three Jacks! She is so beautiful and strong. Go compost tea and worms!!!

También reubico ligeramente la malla de sombreado, debido a que en mi latitud el sol empieza a incidir lateralmente por las tardes... Riego 500 ml H2O pH 6,55 Día 62 (01/08) Vuelvo a redistribuir las plantas en el invernadero dejando a OnionOG todavía más protegida del sol directo, para tratar de disminuir su consumo de agua estos días que no voy a estar... Pongo una protección "visual" en el invernadero en el lado que da a los vecinos (cara norte), porque he "cazado" miradas indiscretas... Start week 6! Looking nice and starting to fatten out! Can’t wait for harvest time! PATIENCE! Very happy so far with how they are all doing!

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and gave this girl her last feeding of nutes before harvest. The next 2 weeks will just be water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Day 65 - Time is winding down for this girl but still thinking 2ish weeks. She’s still got quite a bit of clear trichs so just gonna keep a close eye on her. Day 66 - Nothing new today, just watching the trichs and waiting for them to tell me it’s time to chop. Day 67 - Looks great and almost finished. Only saw a handful of clear trichs and the rest were cloudy but still waiting for a good chunk to amber up so when I see that, she’ll get the chop. Day 68 - She’s getting closer to chop day for sure. Seeing a bit more amber in there and waiting till she’s about 40%. Gave her some water today and next watering, I’ll add some sledgehammer to the water to start pushing the nutes out. Day 69 - A lot more amber trichs showing today but still not quite where I’d like it. I did lower the light to about 12” yesterday and today it blew up with frost. It was already frosty but today she looked like frosting and the pics don’t do her justice. Might be getting the chop this weekend. Day 70 - It’s the end of week 10 and she’s getting closer to chopping. More and more amber popping up but still not to my liking. Maybe chopping late this weekend or early next week.
