Day 43 - growing very well, preflowering a. defoliated some of the under runt growth b. bumped up the nutrients to my preflowering blend, 850ppm in DWC now, offsetting the measurements based of what is already in the res. c. PH is 6.5, the plant is liking the dwc, very similar growth to West Coast OG d. Fastbuds specifically recommends 6.5 PH for this strain, we are following directions e. performed some very light LST to the outside branches Day 44 - the very light LST is great a. the plant is really stretching out b. there are going to be many colas Day 45 - drinking alot of water a. growing very well, vegging hard b. added 4L to the DWC, 1000ppm Day 46 - she is stretching upward a. everything is going great, I love Fastbuds! b. when all other breeders are failing us, Fastbuds shines through Day 47 - growing well a. all is well in the world with our plant! Out of water for 3 days and when I arrive she looks with all her leads facing down. As soon I put her water she refused but after few hours she becomes very healthy. I had to cut few yellow leeds

Well it's definitely a jungle inside the tent buds from wall to wall, put a 1.25 litre bottle in the photo for comparison. Colas on the NL are around a foot long & thick/fat as? NL & DD-O.G are getting close most pistills have changed to orange & buds are closing up both have cloudy trichomes with some amber's on the NL. GG slightly behind others but getting oronge pistills & mostly cloudy trichomes, some clear still. 1 of the DD-OG pheno's is getting purple colours to the buds.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I wish I could say this week went well..definitely wasn't the case..starting on Valentines day we experienced a severe snow storm in Texas, which is quite the unusual..for several days we experienced a power outage..luckily it starting while the girls was sleeping with lights out..so they had some extra darkness..if anything it does seems like they benefited more than it did them harm..they seemed to swell up a lil more..the power did finally come back on today, so ill be keeping a close eye on them the next few days hoping that they don't stress to hermies. I don't believe they will, but ill keep a close eye on them. I didn't manage to get a cheap battery operated LED light from Walmart to put inside the tent during the outage..hoping that it somewhat helps from stress. Other than that..I really don't know what else to tell you. Definitely was a crazy past few days..ill keep yall updated in my next upload..added a few pics I took during the outage..

After 14 days drying, 7 days hanging and another 7 days on cardboard boxes 📦 at a temp between 61 and 65 degrees F and a humidity between 52-55 % I trimmed all the buds and jar them with Boveda 62. After 2 days in jars ( 16 days from cutting the plant down) I weighed in everything. I got 434g of grade A buds and 685g of Grade B ( perfectly smokable ) buds plus a lot of trim that I didn’t weight. I’m very pleased with everything and I enjoyed every single step along the way. Probably next time I will lollipop/defoliate more aggressively so I can get more top bud and less grade b bud.

Ok, so this week I have put a microscope to the girls and the tops are showing a hell of a lot of amber so I have taken the tops off of them all to dry. Underneath is still more undeveloped so will leave the rest a while longer. No nutes the past week and not gonna add any more.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 420 Fastbuds BlueDream Auto Week 5 These girls have taken off. I swear they get prettier every week. It's been such an easy strain to grow just giving it well water and using good soil. I have been spraying 50ml per gallon of PureCrop1 on them as a preventive maintenance and pest control. All in all Happy Growing

Sunday, January 17 Fed 1/2ga to one plant and 3/4ga to the other two. 7tsp of Grow Big and 2.5tsp of Bud Candy mixed in 2ga of water @6.4pH. Plants continuing to stretch, fed Grow Big to try and add some nitrogen. Thursday, January 21 Fed about 3/4ga to each plant. At a ratio of 2 teaspoon per gallon of Bud Candyat 6.4 pH. Saturday, January 22 Fed plants 3/4 ga @6.3pH 2tsp/ga of Bud Candy. I did a defoliation of all 3 plants and decided to flip to a 12/12 light schedule to see if I can trigger blooming. I began last night and I will continue to do so and hopefully see results sometime soon. I’ve looked up the issues of auto flowers not flowering and being “stuck” in the process. I did these two techniques(defoliation and light schedule)to try and trigger flowering. Hopefully we’ll see some results🙏 As always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱

Day 29: Hi all , hope we are all well.?. The Expert ladies have been working hard this week on their figures and have been daily pushed to do a little more. The Mimosa has not skipped a beat with her injury amd thankfully her 5th node has survived. I won't push this node too much as it is very weak still as it repairs. The rest of her nodes and leaf have been woven to the shape she is now in order to keep all the remaining tips in their own space for light. I also nipped out the tiny 1st nodes on each branch to save them being given energy they won't get to benefit from later. She is looking nice and healthy at this point too with no signs of any issues. Glueberry is also more than happy to work with me on her l.s.t . Her main stem is really thickening up and getting less bendable as the days pass. I will keep her held over similar to a mainline style of grow too. Lots of potential in this girl too. I did water them both with about 3L between them and got the pots dampening ready for a real soak in the next few days. Keep safe and well until next update.
