Both phenoe are pushing on nicely. Really good growth from both phenos from 1 seed, 1 had more girt. So, there wasn't an exact even growth ratio. But no pheno was hammered in any way that affected its push through pre fower and into mid fattening. I expect another 3-4 weeks and I'll harvest. Atm there's a nice Lemon exotic smell. Really dank. Musky (earthy). And popping off fruits. Really lovely set of plants. Xpert nutrients are bringing out the best in my grows. They smell, taste and pretty much everything in that regard has improved. These are my new nutrients. As hard as I've been strain hunting. I've always used a different line of Nutrients per crop. And I'm glad to say. These are by far THE BEST nutrients I've used to enhance my crop. Feeds Are pretty much a week in week out with change (all explained with my weeks, DLI and other factors), master root/enzymes have been pult. Master Root no longer needed. Enzymes are all gone. Maintenance This wk, i applied LST bamboo sticks are have done some basic node bending to get the best out of the space in the area above and around its base. Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... My cute Red Mandarine. Hopefully streching stops bud sites are appearing pistils are coming out showing her sex. Good job Sweet Seeds..... Nice lady I wanna see that red colour lol Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix and ratio above. Let's go ;)

Performed as advertised, some bud rot bear harvest on #1 but two weeks of fog 8 hours a day will do that. Although in saying that, #2 had zero rot or WPM, so that's pretty impressive considering the season IMO. Harvested after 7 weeks flower, but they were showing reds and wanted to avoid any more issues due to crappy weather. Harvest totals Plant #1. 295g bud and 270g trim Plant #2. 476g bud and 200g trim All fan leaves were removed before drying so trim is mostly sugar leaves packed with THC. Great for hash 👍

Day 27 from seed: These ladies have not disappointed this week at all. Even poorly girl #2 has got busy and began growing again. I have switched nutes to Mega Crop and they have all been getting a feed of 1g per L and calmag and silica to keep the npk in balance. This stuff is great to work with and its results are brilliant . seeing some of the grows done with it and the low cost of too. This is made for us. The Los girl is doing good with the Mc so far and as it is a mineral nute, the ph is not such an issue to worry over. #3 is still the most advanced and has been topped and her limbs are staked for her lst. Love the results of the silica when training plants. An absolute must !. No signs of any pistils.yet so some growth still to go before the stretch starts and becomes a monster crop.lol I have seen some great Fast Bud autos yield amazing.

This week has been all about new beginnings and meticulous care, as we continue to nurture these beauties towards their full potential. Let’s dive in! New Home, Sweet Home This week, our P.C.R.s made the big move to their new 3x3 tent, and boy, do they love it! Under the bright and consistent light of the ViparSpectra P2000, these plants are set to thrive. Purchased a new night which is 24 inches from the plant. The bottom two leaves have started to turn slightly yellow. The PH levels have not changed. I may have over watered, but I don’t believe I did. Not quite sure what is going on here. She has taken off in growth this week compared to the last. She is on a 18hour light schedule and taken out into the sun from 12pm to 6pm and then back under the lights. I am not overly sure of how much water is required.

In this week i decided to only give them another startbooster which contains some rootstimulator. Some days after feeding with startbooster, i gave them some water. There are still so many kinds of nutrients in the soil. The plants look a little light green, i have been checking my run-off water and it should be fine( still higher EC then i used to have but i have already explained why it is that way). I'm not overwatering so it's not a (N)itrogen problem which can most of the time results into light green leaves. ( when there is no nitrogen in the soil the roots will not or barely take any water(nutrients) I had the same thing with other sativas in the past, behind the window before and in later stages it got solved. I still have to remind myself that it is a fun-outside-grow so i should'nt complain about low humidity(40-45) which should be 85%, temperature 20-21 degrees which should be 26-27, being behind a glas window instead of better exposure to the sunlight or lamps, not having fans on it to get better firm stems or closer lightsource so they don't stretch that much. For now i start getting them used to the sunlight by carefully putting them in shade places or with a few hours sunlight. It went well but except for the bigger pot plant, you can see on the highest leaf that it got a little bit curly but still not a big issue. I might buy some Canna Cure this week. Canna cure is good against insects, molts and such. It also holds some nutrients. Very usefull for outside growing. Since i don't want to overwater or overfeed my plants because i want them to root alot, this might be a solution to give them some extra nutrients, it also makes the leaves more green. When the plants are getting bigger and more thick i want to start doing LTS, i order to do so i just have a little bit time left to bully them a bit with keeping them dry for rooting. I don't want to do that while doing LTS. Don't mind the temperature meter, its not 32 degrees outside. It was still inside behind the window between the curtains. It hotter there. ( might also be the reason for some stretch in the plants)

Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

The 22nd and 23rd of of july nothing important happened, we provided some water and the plant was looking quite good The 24th of july a heatwave started, reaching 40C° outside, i needed to move the plant to my balcony, she continued outdoors but with some more shadow as the direct sunlight for such a long time would have fulminated the little plant 25th of july we provided bioenhancer from green house and some synergy mycorrhizae 26th of july nothing 27 of july water 28th of july nothing 29 and 30 of July starting week 2 veg. Temperature seems to start getting better, next couple of days we will move the plant to the roof again, gave only water

Looks great can't wait to see what she smokes like if it is a she!

Hey hey hey, welcome back, just updating this purpcouskush ! So it's awesome to see some purps coming in on the flowers, but it's really hard to get good pics of this plant so i hope you can tell. I'm actually really happy with this grow and how these gens are coming along, but I will say that this plant is HIGHLY apex dominant. So much so it's to the point where there's not (yet?) much action happening on the secondary colas , it's mostly on the main cola which is shaded by a thick canopy of fan leaves making hard to see what's going on under there. Seems like the main cola has plenty of flower nodes though and the spacing is such it's still stretching and filling out. Really interesting process seeing the color come through the base of the flowers but not really "bleeding" onto the leaves at all, staying on the buds and giving an adorable pink hue. Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

Trichomes beginning to fill in and more bud is forming! Got a bit of a burn going on but im trying to resolve before it gets too late. Could be from the ipm soil drench i did along with over feed. Current ph is 5.8 even tho my input is 6.5-7.0. Now i gotta raise the input until everything is flushed out then a light feed to keep up the nutrients.
