This is the week 2! Well, the plant looks really healthy, and she kept growing up, straight to the light! Good to see that even after the strange beginning, with the stem crooked, she recover her path! This week, I'm also planning to start feeding them with some NPK. Just need to read a little bit more about it and buy nutrients. Probably I'll try Canna stuff. Anyone know if it's good?

Gold Sativa has been growing really fast. I had to take solution out of buckets right before update here. Was causing over watering issues with roots growing so fast. So providing more air space between basket, and solution. Should help her perk up a little more. This is my first run of photoperiods in DWC. I think I got most major issues resolved. Week 8 underway! Watered on 01/04 with 1.5L 5.8PH 1.8 EC, 5ml/L Terra Grow and 1ml/L Green Sensation. They looking good and are mostly on a water-every-2-days schedule. Really couldnt be happier with plagron at the moment. 1 Bottle until recently and they look and grow dandy in their 5L Pots. Added Green Sensation but im sure it will be equally good. Great bang for your buck so far! One BPP is purpling like crazy, one LCC is getting colorful. Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. She grew another 17cm this week! 145cm tall!!!!!!!!! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola is through the lights and getting close to the roof of the tent 😅 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 It's accurate, she is a MONSTER of a plant. This week I have done a quick video showing the result of my experiment a few weeks ago where I FIMed a couple of side branches. Take a look 😃 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 powder mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Did she start flowering ? Usually I see the same with pheno ants when I switch off the light for 36 hours to start flowering and after the top is light green. This is how flowering starts. I am not sure about her ? Weather is shit anyways....

Recovered from the topping and defoliation well. Responding to bondage well. Began Biobizz nute feed at half strength. Just letting her do her thing and flower when she is ready.

Grow Diary – Week 7, Day 2 of Flowering Buds are stacking thick and frosty, and the tent is getting louder by the day. Trichomes are popping and the top colas are starting to bulk up nicely. Noticed she’s looking a little heavy on the nitrogen — darker leaves and slight clawing — so I’m dialing my A & B down a bit on the next feed. Still holding pH at 5.8 and PPMs just under 1000. Lower sites are getting more light now after daily tucking and some selective leaf removal. Airflow’s solid, RH around 60%. No signs of mold, just sticky, stanky progress. Finish line’s coming. Let’s ride.

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

On 3 of them I applied LST and Topping On other 3 Toppin only I am aware that they will soon run out of space,which means that I will have to move two of them to another tent...we'll see

Managed to sex out the males this week, especially since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.
