The week started off rough because I noticed light stress and what I thought to be a potassium deficiency. The growth was non existant, but after some research I raised my light from 36 - 40" and set the dimmer to level 4. On top of this I dropped the RH from 65 to 60 and once I did this within the next hours I saw the leaves begin to purk back up. This was also my 1st time feeding my plants a compost tea which I made from Green waste compost, bio char, bokashi, fish hydrosolate powder, azomite, langbanite, humic acid, Fish Sh!t, insect frass, and kelp meal. I airated the compost tea in a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours before drenching the soil with it, and I added some Recharge by Real Growers after the compost tea. Really great gentics. Love the smell coming from this girl as she grew. And my god it didn't disappoint. The strenght of the stone is out of this world. I can't remember it 100% as it was months ago. Id say i wouldn't remember regardless as I do recall a lot of head dropping and drooling mashed out of it. Very strong thc, excellent taste, good yields. Ease of growing. No real issues debilitating issues even though grown in a very high stress environment. 10☆ all round. Can't wait to try more from this breeder. I'll be updating my other diary that was ran with this Jealousy Dankness and adding weekly updates on the ones I'm doing now in the coming days. Got over 85 grams from this if I recall. Not as much as the others, id say she was in the top 5 for yield.

12/16/18 Start of week 8 of flower. At least one of the plants is more then 1 week out. The sativa leaner still has many white pistils. The frost queen is right on schedule. The runt will be processed into bubble hash. Secret Sara buds are getting huge and are quite mature as well. Hoping to see some yellowing off in next few day. 12/21/18 All 4 plants scoped out well. I saw very little clear trichomes. Also 1 of the plants has some amber trichomes as well. Also almost all pistils have changed color and curled in. I decided to start 36hrs of light deprivation, they are no longer getting water, and the temps are kept as low as possible.

Dec. 13 - start of week 11 and all's well into the flip to flower. Clipped 'er out real good twice but there's no stopping these girls. Probably looking at some serious pruning over the next 2 weeks. We'll keep it light but regular and with luck, it'll be a perfect mix between max photo synth. and energy allocation. We've gone much more aggressive with the nute shed. - gonna jam 'em every feed on a 5:1 ratioof full strength to calmag only and see how they take to it instead of the current 3:1. @quexos was spot non about the defo - shoulda been a little more ruthless but all good - we'll get there homie😉 Thanks again to the usual suspects for the comments and critiques. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). : This week there hasn’t been much change; everything is progressing steadily. I continue to follow the BioBizz feeding schedule carefully, making sure to always adjust the pH of the water between 6.3 and 6.5 to keep the plants in their optimal range. I carried out some defoliation to improve airflow and prevent humidity build-up, which is especially important given the limited space available in the grow tent. The light has been set to maximum intensity to give the plants all the energy they need for flowering. At this stage, there’s not much else to do except remain patient and wait for the buds to fatten up into large, healthy colas.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.
