Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set. Plant #1 – Really starting to get colorful, very purple and frosty. Sorry for all of the bud shots but can’t help it! Super excited to see how she starts to fill out.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Hi guys This week I been tucking and pulling off selective leafs. The stretch is still real the blue cheese has exploded In growth and absolutely stink. I will be doing a major end of the week and removing little nodes that didn't make it. I finished a week flush as I did burn them, but now there back on the nutes, 2ml per litre of bloom and 1ml per litre of top max. I put 25l In the resivour so will see how long that lasts. Both plants are showing calyx and pistils. Looking forward to this one hopefully the nutes will kick in and the dark phoenix will be healthier green again. I will keep you updated thru the week as I expect a few changes in thru the week. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚 Day 16 12-12 So I done a little defoliation, I will be doing final one one day 21. Flipped lights to true 12/12 today and will b planning a 70day flowering program (already 14days thru!).. Emptied out res and flushed top tray with 10ltr plain ph'd water @5.8 and 21°c so not to shock her roots.. I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. I do not know how it happened but it did… She has decided she want to reveg herself. I hope you can see what I mean, if you compare week 18 and this 23rd week. She’s now bush and showing off her new growth, I am caught between defoliation or letting her grow wild and uninterrupted, the problem lies with blocking other new growth from getting enough sunlight, I remember change her position to try get both sides growing at an equal rate but all I did is made the one lacking to be the one leading in growth. Loving her scent, fruity sweet, though has a slight hint of diesel.

The first week of flower

📆 Semana 7 La Grease Monkey está en modo bestia esta semana. Los cogollos han seguido engordando con fuerza y cada vez se ven más densos y cubiertos de resina. Las flores principales ya empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y brillante que promete potencia, mientras que las hojas cercanas están totalmente salpicadas de tricomas, como si las hubieran rociado con azúcar glas. La alimentación sigue basada en XpertNutrients, sin cambios drásticos. Solo he ajustado mínimamente las proporciones para no frenar el ritmo que lleva. El riego sigue afinado al detalle: lo justo para mantener activa la microbiota del sustrato y evitar saturaciones. Los Adlite continúan haciendo un trabajo brutal. La penetración lumínica está ayudando a que incluso los cogollos de las zonas medias e inferiores mantengan una buena densidad. Todo el dosel está funcionando como una unidad, lo que se traduce en una floración muy equilibrada. Las condiciones ambientales siguen bajo control: 22-25 °C de temperatura, y humedad en torno al 55%. Estoy reforzando la ventilación para prevenir cualquier susto ahora que los cogollos empiezan a cerrarse más. El aroma se está volviendo todavía más intenso: una mezcla cremosa, dulce y con ese fondo diésel que le da el toque agresivo típico de esta genética. Los tricomas siguen lechosos en su mayoría, con alguna señal de maduración incipiente, pero aún no es momento de pensar en tijeras. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪
