Day 70 - She grew 5cm / 2" this week! The amount of trichomes she has on her is frankly ridiculous 😍 totally white over. The smell upon touching them is intense Grapefruit 😍 PhenoFinders have done a great job breeding this. I'd like to try more of their range.

First Guerilla-week! I am so excited and now it was time to set them out! I prepared my spot out in the woods and added 150 liters of new fresh quality-soil for my 4 plants so they can built a massive root system. These plants are gonna be so huge - again, the strain promises an average height of around 4 meters per plant. The temperatures here in my country are around 15-18°C and after a bit of raining it will be sunny and warm again. The sun comes out at 5:30 and sunset sets in at 20:30 -so 15hours of light for my plants. Stay tuned for awesome guerilla grow action! :)

Day 25. Removed inside fan leaves so inside branches can get more light.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 3 - not much training needed.. SO3 is a giant. Smaller buds than the other 2. Lollipopping needed

Another good week. Watered them twice. I'm not planning on feeding them again. A little defoliation. I definitely think they are in the last 2 weeks before harvest. Still seeing some nutrient burn developing on the leaves. I don't think I watered enough through the whole grow! I'd love to hear opinions on this! Took some videos of the buds with an iPhone 12 at 6X magnification. Decent quality! Otherwise, still looking to successfully harvest these plants! Thinking about the next grow. Probably going to be Auto Strawberry Cheesecake and Auto Anesthesia. Peace!

22/08/18 - everything’s looking great I’m sure they will be finished stretching sometime this week and also should be getting an additional LED to add to the tent by the end of the week. Also started to lolly pop each plant took about a 1/4 of the leaves etc so far will see how it reacts to this to see if I can continue to 1/3. 24/08/18 - lookin good 48hr after I trimmed the bottom branches/big ass fan leaves in the shade looking miserable so i had to chop em. Still waiting on my extra led in the post.

Day 37. Not much to add ... Adjusting the pH morning and night and observe the good growth it has, keeps the canopy quite well. I have observed some pistils with orange tips, do you know what is due?

Chinazes) The nuts have all sprouted, Easy to grow, 70 days have passed from the beginning of the first week to harvest, Incredible, sweet, delicious smell, once you smell this aroma, you can enjoy this smell for hours)) I recommend it to everyone!!)) I will put this variety in the top.

11/03 - Mother moved into her own 17 gallon tote - running lights on dome and in tote - super topped - running high humidity and high temps - nute feeds are the same - tied down all 4 coles thus far. 11/06 - tote dome is holding up nicely - transplanting into 7 gallons and 2x2 tent swap. 11/09 - Opened up the lid more to give her space to blow out from the sides - Blitz humidity for about a week (90%) - Temps running 89F - Clean water feed for the week.

Very happy overall with this week. Banana Daddy R1 transitioning to veg very quickly! Banana Daddy looking very healthy!
