Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. This is my last day before chop. Flushed for 2 weeks then 48 hours of total darkness. Really sweet sour aroma coming from the GG and a almost cookies smell coming from the gelato. Will let you know the full yield once dried and cured. But not to bad for my first grow 🔥

Looking great I think pheno one will end up finishing a week early, maybe soon I will start the flush for pheno 1, as far as pheno 1 and 2 I will keep them going until I see more development

11/1: I started a pair of each of the Wicked Stix beans, but had a couple of failures and ended up planting a Berry Bomb and a GG4 as replacements. Минусы горшка 0.2 то , что надо часто поливать 3 раза в день , а так для такого обьема она выросла достаточно большой ))) Этотрадует 01.08.23-в горшке 0.2 литра онивырос очень большем около 25-30 см , полив каждый день раствором для цветения . Волоски появляются везде

En esta actualización se incluyen 2 semanas ya que por trabajo me fue imposible añadir la semana anterior. El día 15 de Agosto recibió la segunda pulverización de Bacillus Thuringiensis para prevenir el ataque de las orugas. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.

I´m still watering with Terralba’s Black Sugar-cane Molasse. In this diary I´m not going to use PK because I want to see the result of applying only terralba product ... so I´ll decide better what I need in the next diary.

420FASTBUDS FBT2106 WEEK 5 Wow what a big diffrence fron last week till now. They both almost seem double in size and are still moving upward. Over all health seems amazing as I don't see any issue's. I did up there feeding to now 1-2 liters every 2-3days as before was only 16oz. They're drying out just as fast so I know they are doing good as far as water/feed intake. I bumped up the GH Flora series 3 part nutes. I kept the Gro at 1tsp/gal but decided to add more of the Micro & Bloom to a 1-1/2tspgal so will see how they handle it. If I had to take a guess if they're like anyother Fastbuds amazing strains, they wont skip a beat and ask for more. Happy Growing

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

My gas tax plant is looking absolutely incredible right now. It's got these massive buds that are super dense and have this awesome dark color to the leaves. I'm so excited to see how it turns out when it's finally ready to be harvested. I've been checking the height, the thickness of the stem, and the density of the buds to get an idea of how much longer I have to wait. I think I might start flushing it soon. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Week 1 of flower for Lemon Orange by Greenhouseseedco, After the feeding she really started to get better colour, for now I wouldn't say shes stretched much? maybe an inch or 2. Have been having to run a heater at night at 27 degrees... Looking forward to week 3 strip if I don't start a little earlier. Just have to keep the tops flat now and should be easy growing from here.

Day 58 - Adding Big Bud Coco to the nute mix, seems that it's doing its job 😁 (Yes, I need a bigger closet 😅) Keep on growing 🙏😋 Day 63 - Haf some problems with my EC pen the last days, it wasn't clean so I overfeed a little bit but I noticed almost immediately so I've cleaned it and re-done the nute solution. Just a few tips of Gelato's leaves were burnt, nothing to worry about. I think 4 weeks from now and the Purple Lemonade will be ready for harvest, so other 5 days of Big Bud and then I'll switch to Overdrive for the final boost before ripen and flush 🙏

This was my first experience using Mapito and Ebb & Flow, together with the new LED light. The plant turned out to be unusually low. 👌 The variety is quite fragrant, but the smell appeared only in the middle of flowering. At the time of trimming, the plant smelled of mint candies 😁

Week 10: Blueberry Auto - Sweetness Overload & Harvest Looms! ☀️ Yo growmies! Mother Nature's got the magic touch for sure! Every weekend visit to the Blueberry Auto is like a trip to candyland. The smell gets sweeter by the hour, seriously, I'm surprised I haven't attracted a swarm of sugar-crazed squirrels! Speaking of close encounters, I snapped some magnified pics this week so you can all get a good look at her frosty goodness. Those trichomes are getting cloudy, with barely any amber ones in sight. Harvest decision time is upon us! Do I chop this sweet blueberry dream this weekend, or let her keep on ripening for another week? The struggle is real, growmies! I decided on next week, but I couldn't resist a sneak smoke. Snagged the two bottom nuggets (gotta practice self-control, right?) and they're already chilling in my mini drying spa.
