Aug 30: still hot. Sep 2: heat wave is now past and we’re now into a couple days of smoke. Cut back water volume from 9 L/day when it was hot to 5-6 L lately. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow it up with a red light.

So far it seems to be fine even if the high humidity worries me even if the temperatures are still high then they have stopped growing and will finally focus on the flowers and slowly we recover these small deficiencies

Manifold week 4 update. Morning all, Okay lets get the bad stuff out of the way. I think I'm having issues with my soil PH. My Northen Lights x Big Bid Auto has turned a shade of bright green but our girl Blu has some odd colouring in leaves so think the PH of little Blu may be out of wack as well. I've got a new PH meter coming today so I should be able to get a better picture of the problem. I'm hoping it's a minor issue and can be resolved with some neutral watering. Alright on to the manifold. We're up to three nodes :) three more to go. I'm following Nebula Haze's manifold technique so I will need 6 nodes before I top our girl back to the third. So far I don't see any signs of stretching and shes enjoying the new Mars Hydro light. Shes in the tent with her sisters now so loneliness isn't a problem anymore. This week we're going to give a little extra water to flush the soil and start monitoring PH and TDS more closely with my new meters. Still a long way to go. Happy Growing yall.

They are going amazingly not had any work need as they have done it for me just done some defoliation to them so I could open them up to show of their amazing structure A is growing like a Christmas tree B has split herself at 3rd node and again at the 5th and theirs a new nodes popping up in the middle and it looks like she going to split again C went sideways ways when she started and give herself 3 main head's and now pushing new nodes everywhere from the bottom

Did some more defoliation but keeping her going as she's wrapping up the stretch. Really starting to flower now, which took way longer than I expected. She's a late bloomer for sure, not the best for growing outdoors, this was a test seed though so I just kept her going. Amsterdam Genetics doesn't recommend this one for growing outdoors btw.

They had way too much mass so lollipopped about another 25% off the bottom. They are stretched way up into the lights so I had to modify the hangers to put the lights as high as possible. Did another major leaf strip just around day 18. Now at day 21 The buds are starting to form and looking okay. Next couple of weeks will tell if they will be close to successful or not. It’s the end of June and humidity stays around 70%. Not ideal conditions

We back with some buckets! Straight outta the stix! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

All are doing good, even with soft water..as long as I flush out way more than im used to. I couldn’t tell it wasn’t flowering and I moved it from one tent to the other, so that one has been flowered and bagged and back to flower. I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they’re all looking great. Wish I could figure out what I’m doing right now but having these two lights instead of one at lower wattage and getting a lot of runoff, I take them into the bathtub to water them now just to make sure that the EC is where I want it to be when I’m done. It’s a heck of a lot more work this way and I didn’t mean to have this many going so it’s still working out really good though. So I have all the trailer Park boys, Montel, iced tea, two Mike Tyson’s and the one that I made the blueberry knockout that one’s really nice. Montel's Dream Widow is looking absolutely killer in these photos. Hello gardeners! I'm starting my third grow after two good attempts where I learned a lot. In my first trial I was able to pull 40 + 20 + 20 = 80 g under not optimal conditions (limited time mostly), and in my second I improved to roughly 40 + 40 + 60 = 140 g with one additional week in veg and an additional led panel during flower. Now, my goal is to harvest 3 x 60 = 180 g with pretty much the same set up. The differences from my previous grow will be: 1) 1 more week in veg (total 6 weeks): I felt that my girls were not mature enough when I flipped them to 12/12 in the last grows. I wanna see them stronger and more robust this time 2) Use a larger pot size during flower (5 gal): for the same reason as above, I want to give them the opportunity to be strong and robust plants 3) Reduced number of colas (16 per plant): last time I was a bit conservative doing lollipop and removing the little side branches, and ended up with ~23 colas/ plant, which did not allow proper spacing between colas. Although ventilation was never a problem, there was a lot of shade that could not be avoided. 4) Improved feeding regime: (see images) one of my goals with my growing is to establish a good feeding regime that works reasonably well for average strains with my growing medium (PRO MIX herbs and vegetables). Since the medium is a hybrid between soil and soiless, the plants don't need extra nuts in the first weeks, but as the plants grown, the organic compost present in the medium becomes not sufficient. My feeding strategy is basically the GH Flora Series - Drain to Waste chart with reduced amounts in the first 4 weeks and slightly less nitrogen during flowering. 5) Height Control: since the girls will have an extra week to grow, I'll need to be extra cautious and control their height from the very beginning. I'll be doing 1 top in the CBD and GG, and probably 2 on the Moby Dick. I also may try something similar to manifolding on the Moby Dick if she starts to grow really faster than the others. In addition, I'll be scroging everything as low as I can. 6) LED panel distance: last time plants finished flowering about 16 in away from the lamp.
