Acapulco, gold has gone absolutely crazy, and we have so many branches. I have lollipoped her this week, too. She is still stretching, hopefully that's gonna end real soon, because we have no room left in the tent, and we're getting light burn. I have been moving the plant around to maximise the light exposure and minimise the light stress and heat damage, she has been drinking a fair amount. I'm just trying to get the fungus gnat population under control with some sticky traps. Here is what I did this week. Day 22 - All ticking along nicely...apart from a smart timer issue the last 2 days!!! :/ At least it was light stuck on rather than off so no early flower initiation!!! Got everything reset and all looks good so far. Will be using programmable timers for flower, JIC!!! Funny thing I noted while making the time lapse, the plants still "Went to sleep" at the time they should...even with the lights on and woke up when they should! Was quite interesting to see! Apart from that, just LST and plucking some bud covering leaves. Dropping the SCROG screen tonight and this will most likely be the last week of veg. As EC was dropping slightly by end of last week, have upped the EC by 0.1 Happy Growing all!!! 💪

Next will be harvest!!! She’s a yielder and a beauty! Easy to grow, nice nugs- very happy

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. On day ten I did my first feeding at half dosage and lowered the lights from 21inches to 18, ladies responded really well. Notice growth by the next morning. On day day twelve I did second feed which went well. Did my third feed on day thirteen, which did not go well, 5 hours after feeding I notice leafs were cured up, I brought the lights up to 21 inches and fixed the problem. Light burn. Day fifteen I tried LST which did not go well since this was my first time doing this. Day 16 ladies where back to normal so I did Fimming and see how that works out for me. Wish me luck.

In the past week the buds have bulked up a lot. Almost doubled in size. Everything is moving along smoothly and I’m excited to see what happens. I’m hoping they keep bulking up they way they have been. Should be about time to flush.

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. Sprayed with Neem Oil on 10/24 Fed Light Fox Farms Blend on 10/25 Treated with NemAttack on 10/26

Dense bud all the way down. The +Speed auto can be chopped at 7 weeks but generally require 8-10 for best results. My environment is steady and temps are perfect. VPD was kept on point for the majority of the run and nutrients fed at just over half of what was stated on the bottle. The amount that can be grown in such a small area and in such a short space of time is unbelievable. Only one plant has been harvested at the moment so I will update the harvest week of the diary with the other two once they are ready.

All plants are doing INCREDIBLE, the buds are swelling up and on each branch huge colas start to form. The amount of flower production under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps (now dimmed to 100% at a distance of 60 cm) is INSANE and all flowers are gleaming with trichomes. The plants are sticky as hell and they smell like crazy. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky aroma with hints of citrus, while the Serious Kush is getting danker every day, it has a PUNGENT GASSY SMELL...I LOVE IT! 😍 The first pistils on the buds start to get brown, which is a sign that they are ripening and that the moment of harvest is getting closer. I cant wait!

I was out of town this last week so my wife just watered them. She accidentally disabled the timer on the lights so I'm not sure how long they had light or didn't. All seems ok though. Starting their flush soon. I moved the lights up to 30". I think they're getting burned a bit.

Day 56 of flower and it needs a little bit more. Looks like it needs a couple more weeks of flower. I am sure this is a result of being on the outside edge of the light. No room under them. Still feeding this week and I will stop when I start seeing amber tric's. Buds did not change much and feel dense. I will keep watching the tric's for change. I will harvest when the tric's are 20 - 50% amber. Thanks for looking Cheers

Everything seems well. I made a mistake and the yellow leafs are my fault during foliage spray for bugs. Seen others growing and had alot of insights on this strain. I had the same problem and wanted to stay short. But the fat leaves I can see the cultivars coming out. Thanks for looking!

1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....
