Hey Now, this week went good for the Cream Mandarine Auto, she keeps on stacking and I believe she has another week left to bulk up....I will switch her to ripening nutrients in another week and then flush her for a minute and then its chop time. This Cream Mandaraine Auto has been amazing, even when I left her for a week and let the EC get way too high.... I am going to pop a dutch passion/Think big and maybe a Gelato from Sweet Seeds here in the next couple days. Gonna try and stay focused on the plants but also gotta focus on fantasy football drafts LOL....If anyone gets the chance to go see Phish please do, as they are on fucking point right now. Chopped her at exactly 12 weeks old. She was covered completely in good sized and trichome laden flowers, absolutely no larf whatsoever. Fan leaves stuck out clearly and were quite easy to remove, minimal processing needed for this strain. Gives off the scent of kushy must and sweet fruit. Extremely easy grow, heavy feeder, and very easy to train out perfectly. I will grow this strain again soon.

Everything is looking fine with her, I've been dropping the temperature down, she is very healthy, putting some weight and full of sugar. She is close to being ready and honestly, I can't wait.😝

Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Well global hysteria had me lose my job and computer but kept the growing up and made some trades while demand is high and am back here about to go into week seven. The Orange Blossom Fizz is really plumping up and is triched out. Seems like its still got at least a week and a half to go till flushing. It is really full of stacks but haven't seen much color coming in yet but it'll show more at the flush. I stripped a bunch of leaves at the actual week six about a week ago to make sure all the lowers are getting some. The video shows some full shots of the whole plant trained wide and low. Really liking this strain, last round was great and had solid nugs and great purps. The Krishna Kush is much closer to finish and I'll probably start flushing soon, like halfway through week 7. Its usually about 56-60 day for the chop. This is my pheno 1 and has a real crown shaped small nug structure from its landrace lavender background, but they're nice and frosty. Def a heavy feeder and did get quite a deficiency in the last few weeks here in the spots closer to the light. Couldn't up the nutes too much cause its sharing a res with the OBF, which is already getting nute burn a bit. Nute wise I cut out the Bud Candy and Grow at week six and switched from Liquid Kool Bloom to Beastie Bloom dry powder for this week's res. The next one I'll switch to some Dry Kool Bloom for 4 days to start the finishing before the flush. Try and keep this updated till the finish now.
