D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. I doubt the Purplematic girl missed me, but she looks great! The flowers are a deep, DEEP purple, and her senescence has progressed, resulting in pretty purple/yellow leaves. I had a first look at her trichomes, and she is getting ready. Most trichomes are cloudy, and I even see an amber one here and there. Won't be long now :) ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fifth week of flower, and this grow is almost at the end. She is fading beautifully, and the trichomes are ripening. I would love to let her go another week to watch her senescence, but I need to move the light from this tent to the photo tent since I'm running out of space there, and this Kingbrite light has a much lower profile. ------------------------------

Nutrition and pest control are very easy. Seems you can't treat them wrong.

Wow she almost doubled her height this week! She grew 29cm!!!!! I think she's doing OK 💪

Hello Growmies, Week 14 in the flowering stage has delivered a welcome burst of growth for our Epic Buzz, affirming the effectiveness of the PK 13/14 addition. The buds have responded with an enthusiastic swell, stretching out in a display of potential that indicates the timing for the flower stretch was spot on. Despite the joy of an aromatic tent, there's been a slight hiccup with the filtration system. The intensity of the scent has outpaced the capabilities of my new Secret Jardin Carbon Filter, which hasn't lived up to the longevity of previous ones. Thankfully, with a spare filter added to the exhaust, we've managed to neutralize the odorous evidence of our thriving plant. The physical support of the plant became a necessary focus as the back main colas, heavy with dense buds, started to tip the balance. Resourcefulness came into play with some ties to the ceiling, ensuring stability for continued upward growth without any risk of toppling. The latest pictures showcase a remarkable transition. The colas stand tall, heavily frosted with trichomes, while the buds have fattened to an impressive size, hinting at a satisfying harvest to come. The leaves, a few with the yellowing edges of hard work and past stress, don't detract from the overall vibrancy of the plant. These older leaves will naturally give way as the plant dedicates itself to the buds, a process we're now observing. Beneath the surface, the roots tell a story of health and eagerness, their robust structure pulling in the nutrients that fuel the flowers above. The buds themselves, each a potential powerhouse of flavor and effect, are a testament to the care and attention invested over these weeks. Moving forward, the structural reinforcement will hopefully allow the plant to focus all her energy on the final maturation of her buds. The expectation of harvesting these dense, resin-packed colas is building with each passing day. Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 21) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Tropi fängt an erste Farbakzente zu entwickeln in den Buds.

The girls are looking healthy and happy, except the one that had its head torn off. It will be fine though. Ive been plucking off some fan leaves and even intermediary sun leaves to open up bud sites. Autos are starting to cluster, looks like they will shoot pistils any day now. The photos are looking great, variances in each strain, so Im on the lookout for the structure I like, and making notes daily. Happy growing to all

Starts flowering nice now

Day 1: yay! All of my girls popped up a and they seems to be fine! I’m just going to pick 4 of them so I’m going to be kinda sad that I have to throw some of them away. But for the best result you have to do it. I give them a low ph at the start and when they grow bigger I go up in ph! Always start with 5.5-5.7 then end up with 5.9-6.2 when they are in flower. I used this GREAT WHITE POWDER. It smells like something from hell really! I need a face mask when I open the jar🤢 but it does well for my rooting. They came out their seed faster then befor and came up from the dirt in just some hours after I potted them! I really recommend it, you can use it with any nutritions you want. My water temp was a little to high today but I don’t really care tbh everything within 18-25 Celsius are okay Sannies seed shop is the best! Day 2: I always have issues with my seedling, they look healthy but what is this leaning thing going on… I have problem with the lights… they are trying to hide from the stong light, I gave them 100% in the beginning just to heat the tent up and I forgot it so had to turn it down to 25% and the lamp is like 40cm from the canopy.😂 Day 4: a morning picture and video on the grow and a picture and video in the evening! They grow so fast🌟 Day 7: last day of this week and everything has been just fine but some of the girls has grown to fast so they got a little heavy so I had to help them to stand hahaha! I’m starting to see the roots and they are very thick and hairy looks very healthy to me! I’m just going to pick 4 of these girls to grow! I just got myself a new tent I’m waiting for in the mail! It’s a 120x60x180 and a SP3000 marshydro both of them! I’m very happy with the brand! The lights are amazing! It will be a photoperiod bloom tent and this tent 70x70x160 will be my veg tent! Day 63 - 28 of Flower Changes this week include adding a 4th Maxibright 315w lamp and Agro bulb. I wanted to run 4 but originally could only afford to buy 3. These retail at £250 each per kit so theres now £1000 just in lighting. A huge improvement to overall light spread around the plants and more light penetrating the canopy to the lower bud sights. I've also spent the weekend insulating my space for 2 reasons. Obviously temperature fluctuations being one. I found the temps were anywhere between 17 and 31 degrees throughout a 24 hour cycle and wanted to get a more consistent day and night temperature. With the extra light it needs to be cooler too. 2nd reason was humidity. With the great British weather being as damp as it is the night time humidity has been over 75% some days which now we are deep into flower could quickly lead to bud rot. Insulating the space and running my exterior AC unit has now got that figure to below 56% at all times. I'm very happy with that. Feeding ratio remains unchanged this week. I'm going to continue running the PK13/14 for at least another 7 days or untill the buds finish fattening out. Still feeding 6 litres every other day. No further training at this point just pulling a few colas out of the way of the fan and one main cola from directly under a lamp as it was burning. Also stretch has now finished which is a massive relief as I've no headspace left in the tent at all. I didn't have time to take many photos of the buds in the dark but the ones I have put on show just how frosty these stardawgs get! Really living up to their name considering they are only half way through predicted flower time. The only further upgrade I would like at this point is a proper co2 with digital regulator. I have however read that they dont benefit much from extra co2 from this point onwards?? What is everyone's thoughts on that? Obviously I have my natural co2 generator and will leave it in untill the end of the grow. I realise I really underestimated the size of these plants and 6 sativa dominant species is a stupid idea. The tent is just too packed so on the next run I'll opt for less and go with a scrog. Thanks for checking in! I cant wait to see how the next week plays out.
