This weeks been strong switched the nutrients on em! They’ve been getting use to them and starting to stretch!! Been defoliating when I can I’m nervous to do too much! But there’s good air flow in the tent! 🔥 it’s been hot out here in the desert so I might get another bag for co2 read that will help the plants deal with the heat!

Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Welcome back, fellow growers, to the next chapter of my Medusa F1 adventure! We're now in week 9 from seed and week 5 of flowering, and boy, oh boy, things have taken a colorful turn in my garden. The buds on my Medusa are showing off a mesmerizing range of hues, with shades ranging from pink to purple, adorned with hints of red and green. It's a botanical masterpiece that feels like walking through a vibrant artist's palette! Now, let's dive into a fascinating aspect of the final weeks: stopping the feedings. As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. But hey, it's all worth it when you witness those trichomes shimmering like a galaxy of sparkling diamonds! A big shoutout to Royal Queen Seeds for providing us with these incredible genetics. The Medusa F1 has truly been a joy to cultivate, showcasing its genetic prowess in every stage. Thank you, Royal Queen Seeds, for making our growing journeys magical! Stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion of my Medusa F1 adventure. Until then, keep nurturing your green beauties, embrace the kaleidoscope of cannabis colors, and enjoy the wonders of nature's botanical artistry. May your harvests be abundant and your experiences with Royal Queen Seeds continue to exceed expectations. Happy growing, my fellow green-thumb comrades! As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - RQS MEDUSA F1 Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

She boasts uniform grow traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavours, and plenty of potency. If you're looking to bring stable, elongated plants into your room, tent, or garden, look no further. Mouthwatering Aromas, High Potency, and Mid-Size Plants Though she won't turn you to stone like the mythical goddess after which she's named, Medusa F1 is bound to get you plenty stoned in her own special way. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavours, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields. A very aromatic cultivar with a vibrant concentration of terpenes bearing notes of fresh mint alongside an upfront peppery kick, backed up by hints of fresh fruit, berries, and tangy fuel. Her thick, frosty flowers consistently produce high levels of THC and CBG, as well as high concentrations of myrcene, ocimene, farnesene, and caryophyllene. As a result, Medusa F1 has strong effects that relax and stone the body from head to toe (brought on by particularly high concentrations of myrcene and farnesene) while motivating the mind with an uplifting, creative, and motivating kick (thanks to high concentrations of ocimene). Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. Medusa F1 is very stable, handling stress and unfavourable growing conditions with ease, though she is somewhat susceptible to Botrytis, so make sure to keep tabs on the humidity in your grow room/garden

🌱 Week 2: Mutant Magic in Full Swing! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Another week, another step forward in the adventure with these Mentha de Croco beauties. Week 2 has been nothing short of fascinating—the variety in leaf shapes is absolutely mesmerizing. These tiny mutants are already showing their unique personality, and I’m loving every second of watching them grow! 🌿✨ Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The setup remains the same as last week, keeping these little ones in the perfect environment to thrive: • Temperature: Stable, warm conditions for steady growth. • Humidity: Maintaining high RH ensures they’re still enjoying tropical vibes as their root systems develop. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to deliver just the right amount of light to keep the plants growing compact and strong. Nutrition: Introducing the Organic-Mineral Boost 🌿 This week, I started feeding the plants with the incredible Aptus Holland organic-mineral line. It’s been a game-changer, and here’s why I love it: What’s Organic-Mineral Nutrition? • Combines the benefits of organic matter (microbial health and soil vitality) with the efficiency of mineral nutrients (direct uptake by plants). • Supports balanced, steady growth while boosting plant resilience. This Week’s Feeding Schedule: • Regulator (0.15 ml/L): A silica-based product that strengthens plant structure and helps regulate stress, ensuring the plants stay strong and sturdy. • CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Calcium and magnesium are essential for cell wall development and chlorophyll production, supporting lush, vibrant growth. • All-in-One Liquid (1 ml/L): A comprehensive blend that delivers all the essential nutrients in one easy feed, perfect for these little mutants finding their stride. • Start Booster (0.25 ml/L): Packed with root-stimulating microbes and nutrients, this product ensures strong root development and prepares the plants for explosive growth in the coming weeks. Why Aptus? I’ve been a huge fan of Aptus Holland because their line truly focuses on building strong, healthy plants from the ground up. The results speak for themselves—happy plants, explosive growth, and vibrant health at every stage. true believer here and way before being sponsored by them . Mutant Leaf Love: Celebrating the Unique 🌿 The highlight of this week has to be the unique leaf patterns these plants are developing. Each one seems to have its own story to tell—serrated edges, funky symmetry, and a whole spectrum of textures. They’re tiny but mighty, and it’s so exciting to see the potential of these genetics from Terpyz Mutant Genetics come to life. Mutants always bring surprises, and it’s a beautiful reminder that diversity is what makes this journey so rewarding. Reflections & Tips for Fellow Growers 💡 💚 Feed Lightly, Grow Strong: For young plants, keep your feed gentle to avoid overloading them. Start slow and adjust as they grow. 🌱 Celebrate Differences: Each plant will grow at its own pace, and unique traits are part of the magic. Patience is key! 💧 Stay Consistent: The foundation you build in these early weeks sets the tone for the entire grow. Stable conditions = happy plants. Shoutouts & Grower’s Love 💚 Big thank you to @Terpyz Genetics for these funky mutant seeds, @Aptus Holland for their stellar nutrition lineup, @Future of Grow for the lighting that keeps these beauties thriving, @Pro Mix Soil for the best one i have encountered so far and @Grow Diaries for being an amazing platform to share this journey. And a HUGE shoutout to all of you—followers, growers, or just curious passersby! Your love, support, and shared passion for growing make this experience truly special. Grape Walker Kush is massive. Very pleased with these plants. Super Orange Haze is also doing great, just more normal size, not as massive as GWK. SOH is also slightly behind GWK in bud stage.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 This is one is living it up! Transplanted to final pot, an 11L fabric pot like all the other strains. Great root system going on.. I added 5 grams of Micro Vita from TopCrop to the soil. I took the pictures with my phone so you can't really appreciate the details but the roots are thick and strong. It sucks this one won't get as much veg time as the others so I'll definitely be growing this one again and with a full veg cycle. Looks to be a very promising strain! One Love!

4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

Ok, so first week is finally here. First off I want to extend a big thank you to the brands Seedsman, MSNL, Exotic Seeds for sending CBG seeds and a big sorry from me for not being able to germinate them. I have made notes that all CBG seeds need a bit of special treatment, Living soils are not great unless they are aged well, and better to just start them in perlite, compost and coir/peat. stupid simple. Now the other none CBG seeds did fine in living soil, same with the herbs but some of the herbs also struggled and has low germination rates like the chives. No idea of the chive seed age as I have not grown them in years so this could be part of it. In better news some of CBG seeds have been replaced with a CBDv and THCv and regular CBD The THCv is a GTR seed vs a Kannabia THCv Seed, curious how these two will compare. Both are a 1:1 ratio of THC : THCv The CBDv is from GTR and the CBD is from CANUK, they sent it alongside the CBG as a "try this out as well" PS still rocking the hoodie, its nice and thick perfect for this time of year. SO onto diary updates, The seeds got their first transplant into smaller square pots at 3.5" vs mini yogurt cups, now I will wait for them to acclimatize into its new size and then transfer up to 1Gal when the time is right. Made a little video of transplanting them and took some extra photos of the herbs that are going strong. Also took a photo of 12hrs after transplant the the plants are looking nice still. I over watered them and let them drain to prevent a spike in EC in the soil. this way the soil can breakdown a bit more slowly and prevent any burning and such. The one THCv seedling I plucked out of one pot is going strong with the cilantro. I did this so their would only be one in the other pot, Will gift this to my buddies who need some plants. Also have some leftover CBDv CBD seeds that I started out of caution, they will be doing the same thing, going to buddies. I'm hoping my one guy takes em all as he was intrested in some of the different cannabinoids like THCv and CBDv and CBG The transplanted medium is amended with lots of stuff and Acti-Sol, the plants seem to do really well on this once they are established. I find topdressing with Acti-Sol is hard and does not work well so it needs to be added into the medium/pot before hand. Outdoors is a bit easier as the roots don't fill the pot to the brim, so topdressing is much easier. Once transplanting is over and they are in their final pot then they will get the liquid feed from the same company, Acadie :) Also first time trying out a Si additive into the soil. Using DE or diatomaceous earth, its now super available but should do the trick. I read studies about it on how adding it into the soil did increase SI content in the plant despite it not being readily available. The mineral wollastonite is a better option but I don't have any on hand. Weird that it comes from a Canadian mine as well. I think that's all, will comeback and update as needed. Fertilizer is going to be added in ml for the whole container not doing the math for what it is per L.
