17-05-2021: As you might have seen I have added some reflective foil to reduce heat on the water. This helps a lot. Growth is as expected but they are a bit on the bright side. Well yesterday the set EC was raised from 1.3 to 1.6 so probably new leaves will be a bit darker. Also added a bit of Calmag. Still great to see that as soon the roots touch the water the growth is exploding. Well yet 13 days till 12/12 so I am excited to see how big these ladies will be by then. Hoping for a seventh node before that. 18-05-2021: Today I dosed 18ml of H2O2 (50% silver stabilized). I have seen a few algae so if they are gone by tomorrow I keep this dose, if they are not I will give them a shock treatment of 50ml. In this system I don't have to worry about clogging (50mm tubes) but I also believe that if it is not necessary I shouldn't do it. Dosing is advised from the supplier based on tomatoes by the way. 19-05-2021: All survived the H2O2. Today I have added additional 18ml. Just to see what happens. Growth seems a bit faster last night 22-05-2021: Blue is not doing great... I hope they survive. Red is still OK

08/30 - DAY 36 - Top watered w/ beneficial bacteria and refilled Jane’s reservoir. - Lowered humidity to ~63% 09/01 - DAY 38 - Refilled Mo. Drinking a gallon a day from the reservoir. Mushrooms growing in Mo’s EarthBox. 09/03 - DAY 40 - Another big defoliation on Jane. - Bent over a few over achieving colas on Mo. At canopy roughly ~500PPFD. 09/04 - DAY 41 - Girls are super happy. Trichomes coming in everywhere on Mo and slowly coming in Jane.

The girl is progressing well. She is receiving around 25 DLI of light. I did a topping.

Victory over the moth larvae. Removed them with pipe cleaners. Still spraying Monterey BT. No new larvae holes. Reinforced several plants with velcro tape. The flowers are becoming heavy. The scent is overpowering. Sugar Cane is extraordinarily heavy and the flowers have not yet begun to swell. Gorilla Glue 4 is heavy and the branches have started to bend outward from the weight. All three were reinforced. Garlic Z is not a large plant and the buds are behind all the rest in progress but the flowers are close and compact.

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.

Things couldn't be going any better for this grow. So recently I ripped off all the bottom growth, leaving only tops and side branches with lots of exposure. What a difference it's made, buds are starting to really beef up and. I now have some that are a foot long!! Definitely found my winning recipe 🥇🥇

Ok heading into Week #5 & nothing but dechlorinated tap water. Yah boi! My 1st venue into high stress topping & training - The Jack's are still undetermined sex, so I figure what the hell -- have some fun & hopefully learn a bit. I don't see anything obvious on the Jack's that are giving me anything definitive in regards to sex. I'll just keep watching. One thing I have noticed with the leaves, is that they are very strong, like a bit rubbery. Overall the are very clean, green & healthy looking. The Green Crack duo is looking nice as well. Same deal with the leaves. Strong & stretchy, but healthy -- I defoliated the giant leaves & cleared off the 1st nodes. No training - YET - Watering is done automatic for both tents. Was bout 1/2 gallon every 2 days, that will change with the the recent defolio ---- well that's about it, .

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. No more than 3 leaves removed per plant, per day to avoid stress. ______________________________________ Can't wait to start upgrading the quality of my journals and to hear you all's feedback! The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎
