☀️ // Day 66 🍁 Chopping Day Every grow must come to an end. I can't be the only one who always gets heartbroken when chopping down the plants. I mean, for 4 months you do everything for the plants that they're having a good life. You cheer every healthy sign from them, you want them to love life and from one day to the other, you kill them. That's just sad, isn't it? I am always telling myself that they're basically become a part of us through the endocannabinoid system, so that's their afterlife, right? Haha Anyway, this was a rather stressful grow. I had major problems with the soil, I just couldn't control it. I think it's because of the Peat Free stuff I mixed in, it somehow fucked up the buffer capabilities of the soil or something like that. But that doesn't matter now, I got it under control, the buds developed perfectly but the leafs are damaged by the tips. So it's not the most beautiful plant overall but the buds are very marvelous. They have a rather unique shape, like a pyramid but with an almost flat head? And their purple hue is just breathtaking. It's a very pinkish purple which I haven't seen by myself until now. I am very happy with this genetic in that regard. But let's see how the buds really turn out. I am aiming for a 10-14 day drying period. With 55% humidty during the first 24-48h with 19 °C. I will rise the humidty to 60 % after that period until the end. In that way, I want to make sure that the critical moisture gets out in the first 1-2 days but after that it should be a very, very slow drying to preserve as much cannabinoids and terpenes as possible. Hi... So this is my first time taking things a bit more seriously. Open for tips and advice. usually looking fore flavor rather than production. First week on 250w Also, pics are taken with the mobile... better pics next week

Day 29. I adjust the LST to form the canopy. pH at 5.8 Day 30. It's not necessary to adjust anything, just a little the main stem. pH at 5.7. Growing well :D Day 32. I change the water in the tank, I go from the vegetative table to the flowering stage, keeping the same Ec pH to 5.9. I make some small adjustments to the LST and remove a few fan leaves. Day 35. Growth is pretty good. The pH drops about 0.5 by day, the plant drinks about 1 liter a day, (I think this is due to the decrease in pH). First defoliation. In general, the week has been good. Now I have to deal with the daily pH drops I think caused by the water intake of the plant. Possibly one more week of stretching remains, Auto Mandarina is 70% sativa 30% indica, so an Indica dominance would be better for my set up.

She’s cruising along! Had some very hot days this week and no rain, but then got hit with a downpour. Going to have to up the feedings soon to accommodate the washout. Doing great otherwise! Topping again soon too

Week 15

Loving the buds on two of the strains I’ve only had black buds one time before, and it was some of the best, but I’ve ever had super excited for this grow🔥💯

Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off with removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of the week we topped her aswell. The next day we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!

This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

Day 63 – Flower Week 1 (Flip on Day 60) This plant shows the same low, scrogged style as the others, but it’s still in an earlier stage of stretch. The canopy spreads well across the net, with several tops already finding their own squares, while a few side shoots are still weaving upward to join the main layer. Leaf color is a healthy medium-deep green with a soft sheen. The newer growth is lighter, a good sign of active metabolism, while a few of the oldest fans underneath are starting to pale slightly—normal as the plant redirects energy toward the upper shoots. Since the flip three days ago, the plant has begun its initial vertical push but remains nicely controlled. Light is reaching the interior without much shading, setting the stage for even bud development.

This week will be the last of the 18 hours of light. When the little ones have settled in on the increased light intensity. If the cycle is changed to 12/12 and then the wattage of the lamp is turned to its maximum of 300 watts. Gradually, of course. More on that later. I hope they will show their gender during the week that the bloom can be initiated. Day 67: It is time for the first flowering phase. Plant 1 shows the first characteristics of the flower or rather it becomes sexually mature. If the others follow suit this week, it is the last week of growth. Instead of cutting out the big leaves, I spread them out under the net. In this way, the light also reaches the lower shoots without stressing the plants during sexual maturity. There isn't much more to say about this fantastic strain. Hardy, easy to clone, quick to flower and absolutely delicious in every respect. It resists well to high temperatures, "accidental" over fertilization, and recovers soon after a period of drought. Easy and fast.
