In this first cycle published on the site, I did the ScrOG technique for the first time, and honestly I am quite happy with the final result😊 The plants performed very well both in vegetation and in the flowering phase.👌 The only "anomaly" was a beautiful flower affected by fasciation (called "Stewie" by me😄) I hope you enjoyed this diary and that it will be useful for you in the future!😎

And here we go into flowering week seven. The buds are looking impressive by now. I feel like they're starting to bulk up - hopefully, those internodal gaps fill in nicely. Temperature and humidity are stable. I aim for 25°C during the day, and at night, it drops to around 21.5–22°C. Humidity stays between 45–50%. I could probably lower it further, but that would make things too hot, so I trust my airflow and ventilation instead. On day 70, I noticed a couple of leaves showing early ‘autumn colors.’ I’m curious how much longer this will take. Plagron additives like Sugar Royale, Power Buds, and Green Sensation are said to accelerate ripening. DNA Genetics suggests 9–10 weeks of flowering, so it’s getting exciting. Amber trichomes are a must for this Kush diva! 😉 Some parts of the plant seem to be purpling! That’s interesting since nights aren’t particularly cold. Could it be phosphate-related? Light stress? Just the strain? The smell is changing more and more towards citrus - like a ‘sharp, earthy lemon.’ It almost reminds me of a wood polish! 😄 I'm gradually removing any drying leaves at the bottom, but other than that, there’s not much to do - just watering, keeping an eye on temp and humidity, and relaxing. Organic Cookies Original sensible Seeds Girl scout cookies 8 weeks of flowering completed 29th March 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are all well and staying safe during these strange times we are all facing at the moment. This Girl scout cookies plant is getting closer everyday but so is the risk of mold . Ive already needed to chop out a few pieces of flower that were starting to turn moldy so it's been a very stressful and watchful week for me. Ideally I'd like to let this plant go atleast another week or even two but with the weather the way it is and the forecast for is yet to come suggests i will need to harvest well before then if I'm to get uneffected buds that can be safely smoked. I havent been game to even water her for the last 3 days due to the very high humidity but luckily she is showing no sighns of being thirsty or needing any food. This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. Round 2 are the lower two buds...a bigger, danker, and better version of the Forbidden Runtz I grew the first time. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the photo comparison. Day 65 Day 15 Flower 06/07/24 Saturday Water de-chlorinated tap pH 6.2 today. I have had to do a deep defoliation, and light LST, she just climbed last week 🤦‍♂️😅 and air flow was becoming a problem finding wet spots under leaves is no go at this stage in flower . So here is her update, she is absolutely huge 🤩 thank you SSSC for allowing me this run, I'm going to dedicate my whole space to a full auto run for her next. She has un tapped potential 👌. Hey folks, I have been checking the trichomes, and they have all glazed over white now with some turning Amber. So I am starting to flush with water. I am hoping for a 2 week flush 😀 Some of the branches are falling over with weight, hopefully a good sign. 😅

BLOOMING. I switched the light schedule to 12-12. They seem to be responding well to it.

She is truly a banner! But sadly she was a male at the very beginning of flowering and not after sadly I did not successfully removed all pollen sacks and so she seeded here and there! Some branches more than others, I removed all those! She seeded the watermelon candy too here and there....not a total disaster but could have been bad...Next time I will discard those very pronounced early and keep those who have only few flowers at set! The phenotype i have is very lightly scented, sweet faint grape. She sparkles with trichomes! I am thinking she does not smell much must be weak thc content...but been reading and they say terpenes and the not the same! You can have little thc and high terpenes and resin contents in Mj! And vis versa!

Next week is gone. The weather was bad the last days, we had much rain and maximum 19°C. All plants are in the same stage of flowering some of them look more frosty some of them less. I already harvested the SkunkXL #3, I was very busy so I hung the plant in the shad last weekend, today I trimmed her and it was about 350g, but the buds will loose a little bit of weight. I will add the weight when the other plants get harvested. Happy growing!

Week 18, week 8 of flowering Final last week. Second week of flush, finishing with using water only since the 2 last weeks. Starting harvest, it will take a few hours to take down everything. Cellmax BIO Soil and Nutrients did a great job as usual, they can provide big quantity and the quality of an organic growth, making it the perfect BIO solution for your crops. After testing Mars-Hydro LED during a bit more than a year, using their SP 250, here is my feedback. Their LED has definitely a better light penetration than an HID. Under Mars-Hydro spectrum the plant is able to grow nugs instead of fluffy popcorns in the bottom of the plant. Mars-Hydro has actually the best quality price on the market.... so, in conclusion, I’m rebuilding the room with 6 x Mars-Hydro FC 6500 Commercial Samsung Multi Racking quantum board, nothing can stop me to reach the 2.5gr/watts now 😎 And finally, I would like to say thanks to SPLIFFSEEDS.NL for sending these wonderful genetics. Hey everyone 👋 Here's this week's update: Matcha is still small and I believe she'll stay like this but at the time she's doing better compared to last week, so that's a win. I wonder, did I do something wrong? Was it the lack of CalMag or maybe the heat? Maybe I got a weird phenotype? (I doubt this) or what else could've happened to her? The truth is there are tons of different things that could've caused this and I wish I could know what could've caused this (I'll be making a grow question regarding this). Pistachio on the other hand is doing well, she's huge compared to her sister and she grew a looooot this week! Some leaves are slightly dark and some tips are a bit too bright as well but there's no signs of burn so I assume she might be on her the limit! Personally I suppose the mycorrhizas might be the ones at fault in here. They make feeding more efficient so probably the "normal" dosage might be a bit too much for them... and for that reason alone I decided to lower the amount of Green Grow that I was using, hopefully that will help. 🙏 I also decided to give 10 weeks of vegetation to these plants. Hopefully Matcha will grow a little more during this time (she's still at 20cm) but at this moment I expect nothing from her, I'll just allow her to surprise me haha. 👻 Thanks for reading!
