11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

Ha doblado su tamaño esta semana! Ya se le ven las flores, parece que esta un poco estresada, no creo que sea sobre fertilizacion ya que siempres uso algo menos de fertilizantes de los que recomienda el fabricante. Ademas intercalo los riegos con agua sola tambien. Vamos a ir viendo esta etapa de floracion.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Started lst this week that's about it just cruzing. I do hate pics maybe it's my phone but they much greener in person.

-06.04.2025 Today is the day. After a thorough examination of the trichomes, I decided to harvest the two Blueberry Automatics. After a total of eleven weeks. The wet weight of the flowers of Blueberry#1 = 77 grams, Blueberry#2 = 74 grams. The flowers are now hung out to dry and will be weighed again in 7days. -11.04.2025 After 6 days the Blueberry Automatics are dry. The branches broke directly when bent with a nice cracking sound. The dry weight of both plants together is 34g. The flowers were stored in jars for curing with a humidity packet from IntegraTM and a hydrometer. Total Time: 1879,36h Total Energy: 326,30kWh 1kWh: 0,30€ Energy Cost total: 97,89€ 💚

Another good week with explosive growth. Been defoliating alot to get light and air in. Held of on topdress till next week , due to beeing away on vacation. So removing all lower growth and topdress next week.

These ladies are perfect! They smell really nice , fruity and sweet! They are getting bigger every day , but not that much buds on them as I expected. Hope they gonna grow few more weeks ))

June 28 - They are doing great, We switched to the recommended amount of nutrients for flowering, Also 2 air stones I ordered have come in so now those are on 24/7 with the nutrient water in a 5 gallon bucket. June 29 - Still just growing away, I am still feeding roughly 3L per plant of nutrient water every 24-36hr depending on how dry they feel. June 30 - Totally forgot to take pictures/videos today. I gave them there daily watering and they are still just growing away. They are in flower now I believe! July 1 - Awesome to see this amount of progression. Tons of hairs and a decently even canopy. There is a small smell coming from in the room! July 2 - Again I forgot to take pictures, But as always they are still just growing away. so far so good! July 3 - Tons of growth and they are starting to become uneven. I don't have a ton of time so I think I will leave them for another week before doing some LST or HST. Tons of colas forming, lots of hairs and they are starting to have a heavier smell! So far so good! July 4 - Same thing as yesterday, still growing away, Ive turned the lights up to 100% now and I have removed the SF-1000 as I needed it for another project! Monday It’s beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and it’s impossible to bend them at that point. I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video. Tuesday Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. The plants are doing great except for a little issue on one of them that I will show you tomorrow. Topping or not ? May be beneficial so I’m about to do it. Fiming maybe ? Thursday Topping on video ! Opened the door today and what a pleasant aroma I was treated too. I'm not getting a charcoal filter, haha. The streach really slowed down, looks like it is over. Lots of bud sites and they are starting to build nicely. Can't wait to harvest the others and get the ASD totally under the lights and spread them out a bit. Getting bold and decided to increased the nutrients, big mistake that was. Got leaf burn on the tips, looks like just water for awhile. Thinking four weeks of flower completed and another six to go. I used a macro lens from a fish eye kit you can buy for any phone to make that macro video, i highly recommend them it’s so easy to see when i can harvest , these are also very cheap but you do need a steady hand haha. I smoked some smaller buds about a week after harvest & it already tastes amazing almost like a reaalllyy sweet banana haha & the burn is good also i was suprised it was smokeable so fast. Fat banana is one of my favourite strains from now on! I also had 1 Sour Diesel in the tent but i’m still curing that one
