26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. 1/6/2020 - What a week! She is finally flowering for real and so I changed her nutrient schedule to "Early Bloom". Increasing FloraMicro and FloraBloom while decreasing FloraGro and adding Liquid KoolBloom. Despite their difference in height, they are the same distance from the light due to the awkward mounting of these lights on the ceiling of this tent. Currently sitting ~40cm from the light. This should allow room for the buds to grow up towards the light and benefit from the increased umols around 30cm. I also took the opportunity to remove select foliage that was more than 90cm from the light, mostly removing growth-tips and leaving the leaves to their transpiration duties. BM coming along nicely, a few more weeks and she will be ready to come out , looking to fatten her up on the home stretch now . I can’t wait to smoke this it’s already so sticky and gassy . Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. The girls are starting to get really heavy, we may be forced to cage the rest for support, we couldn't move them much this week for fear of them collapsing..not recognizing or stopping the runaway stretch soon enough has come back to bite us..lesson learned about this strain.. the canopy is terribly uneven lol, we're just kinda letting them do their own thing at this point, we did drop 1 of 2 lights to accommodate the shortest of the group. Flowers are fattening up nicely, she took a bit of stress here and there but she takes it with no problems. Endoboost hydro is keeping the roots safe. Now we are waiting for those tops to fatten up.

11/25 - This is start of week 4 of life, week 2 of real veg (by my standards, anyways). Her color was a little light a few days ago, but the issue is resolving since I bumped her nutes up. I am using the schedule linked from GWE (https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Recirculating-Nutrient-Schedule-custom.jpg), but I also am using the additives provided by the Performance Pack and will be noting them on the weeks where they are used (RapidStart added at half-strength of GH Advanced Schedule; FloraBlend added at half-strength). She measures about 500 ppm (1.0ec) including ~200 ppm (0.4ec) for the tap value. She is holding pretty consistent res temp of 67-69F and gets ~10LPM of air in a 2"x4" can-style airstone. I always add Hydroguard since temps have been known to go over 72F in the res during certain parts of the year. She is growing noticeably every day and soon it will be time to top her and start her on LST. I'm not sure how high I want to go before leveling her off this time. True ScrOG would say as short as possible (3-6"), but I have the available height (6'). I am trying to get the maximum out of my lights since they are only JUST the right size for the flowering space I currently have (3'x3'), which is why I think using a ScrOG will be the most effective use of my setup. I do intend on moving her over to a 5 gallon bucket when I flip her to flower, but that will still leave me plenty of height to work with. I'm not sure if I will go with the soloScrOG like I am using in my Auto ladies, but likely something similar. Any questions or comments please feel free to drop a line. Another round of topping. Tied her all back to spread out for LST. Going to flip to flower next week. Used the Kushman technique and Supercropped all her stems every inch on the way up, without bending. Gives her muscles to flex <3
