New week. 55-65 DLi. Been smoking some Pakistani Landrace this week, must say, its exceptional. The plant shifts its energy entirely from vegetative growth to flower production. Small blemishes are creeping in, but expected, holding up remarkably well given the circumstances. A high CEC acts as a nutrient "storehouse", preventing essential cations from being washed away by water (leaching) and making them available for gradual plant uptake. Soils with high CEC can store larger quantities of nutrients, allowing for less frequent, potentially larger, fertilizer applications compared to low-CEC (sandy) soils which require smaller, more frequent doses. By providing a steady and dependable supply of nutrients, high-CEC soils support healthier plant growth and potentially higher crop yields. High CEC is typically associated with soils rich in clay and organic matter, which also generally have a greater water-holding capacity, benefiting crops during dry periods. While high-buffer soils require larger amounts of amendments (like lime) to change their pH initially, they need to be limed or amended less frequently, simplifying long-term management. High CEC and buffering capacity work together to create a stable, nutrient-rich, and resilient soil environment that is highly conducive to healthy plant growth.

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Defoliated and in its flowering pot, switched to 12/12 on day 35 she's stretching out nice. Will start feeding from week 7.

Getting closer to harvest. Very excited. I think I will wait until the third week of October to harvest. I gave them the last nutes I am willing as of now. Flush time is about to begin. I was never able to lower my soils ph below 7.

- I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plant. - The hash ball was a little less than 1cm diameter. - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. Day 02 - Tuesday - 09/23/25 - Total Days: 163 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 78.4% - VPD: 0.92 kPa - Soil %: [49, 41, 34, 53, 43, 40, 43, 45] ----------------------------------- - [13:03]: Time to start prepping for my first attempt at tissue culture! --- Ordered and received the AC Infinity PH Meter PRO [AC-PHM7] --- Since this is a brand new unit, the probe sensor needs to be cleaned and conditioned for calibration. --- For proper storage and conditioning, the meter includes a bottle of KCL (Potassium Chloride) storage solution. --- For a basic 2-point calibration, the pH meter also includes 7.00 pH [Mid] and 4.00 pH [Low] calibration solution. --- The pen does support a 3-point calibration, but does not include the 10.1 pH [High] calibration solution. For growing, the pH should never get that high anyways. The ideal averages are all below 7.00 pH [Mid to Low Points]. --- The meter also includes solutions for conductivity calibration, but don’t need these for tissue culture. --- Okay let's go! - [13:09]: Took the cap off of the unit and examined the new sensor probe. --- There was a tiny bit of condensation and a micro drops of the KCL storage solution in the cap. --- The glass sensor was clean, but the seal for the cap had a bit of mineral build-up. This is apparently normal for new meters. --- Swirled the probe in distilled water for a bit making sure to fully saturate the sensor and to rinse off the old KCL solution. --- Wiped the mineral deposits off with a clean paper towel. Made sure to be gentle around the glass probe and tried not to touch it much. --- Also cleaned and rinsed the cap with distilled water and dried with a paper towel. - [13:16]: Opened and poured about 3/4 of the KCL solution into the cap. --- Placed and probe cap back on making sure the sensor is fully soaking in the storage solution. --- Done! - [13:19]: The unit should be ready for a first-time calibration after a 30-minute soak, but going to be soaking for a lot longer. --- The probe needs to stay stored in this KCL solution and will top off with more as needed. --- Plan to calibrate the meter right before checking and adjusting the pH for the establishment media. --- Compared to my last pH meter (cheap Amazon pen), this one is a huge upgrade in both accuracy and complexity. --- Will need to do a bit of research on how to calibrate and use this meter properly. - [16:36]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- With the recent TKO disaster in the main tent, glad that everything is looking healthy in the veg garden! --- All mothers (including TKO) are looking green and getting bigger! --- Now that the watering system is working again, the Heady OG mother is looking a lot better and she is starting to perk up. Day 63. She is going down, my fastest ever big healthy plant. Looking at first waves 3 numbers, I think it's not even 2 ounces plant, it's f@cking THREE !!! ;)))))))))))) Day 71. It is already the fifth week of vegetation and they are incredible, the autoflowering ones above all are beautiful and it is also noticing how the critical x are growing little by little. ! (Any questions, or any advice you can give me leave it in the comments, I also speak Spanish)

Summer isn’t officially here and the heat is still kicking my ass, the girls are loving it though. 3rd topping completed in the 4x4, the FX3 3x3 both phenos are doing phenomenal! Taking clones next week to secure the bank, looking forward!

Late update this week, life was busy. Similar week to last week. A LOT of rain and thunderstorms with heavy winds, with one or two sunny days. Got to hand water once with nutrients mid week on a sunny day after a day of heavy smoke conditions. Both girls still suffering from aphids. Should see natural bugs soon, but have been fogging them 1-2 times a week to try and get rid of them. Damage has significantly slowed but hasn't stopped yet. Otherwise things going well. Stalks really thickening up which is good because these plants are really growing and there will be a lot of bud weight for them to support if we make it that far!

This week I couldn't go and watch the grow because I was out of town. The day before leaving I defoliated and transplanted. When I returned I found the girls in great shape. I am really in love with these 15 plants 😍

5-27 Day 43. flower week 3, day 2. When she wakes shell get the yummie brew tea! Growing well. Did another defoliation. Sheesh! So on one of the branches, it kinda looked like a double tip. Well it most definitely split almost like a top. My guess is from my lockout. Cal/mag made them compete. Makes for some cool pics. Even did a before and after defoliation. 5-31 Day 47 Umm maybe due for a top dress. 🤣 Drinking good and battling ph. well maybe both ph and hunger. oops anyways watered at 5.8 just a tad run off. 7.8 uggg. but what helped also is ppm was 1200 so def mad at me so she’s Hangry at me! 🤣🤣 taking leaves as needed. have a great day and don’t forget to feed your plants!!!
