D54 (14/01/2021): First day for week 4 of bloom. I gave them tap water cause last time the PPM run off was a bit high. The PPM run off for Banana Kush today was higher then the run off for Glue Gelato. It's not the first time I see that so I think I can say that Glue Gelato uptake more nutrients compared to Banana Kush. If it become a problem I might consider doing two separate nutrients mix. - temp: 24-27C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - water: PH6.7, 128 PPM approx. 4L per plant - run off: PH7 and 830PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 1220 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% for light ON and OFF D55 (15/01/2021): I saw some brownish spots on small leaves for Glue Gelato. Last feed, Glue Gelato was the one with the lower PPM run off. I think the brown spots are due to calcium deficiency. Glue Gelato is an heavy feeder, I might give a good dose of nutrients next feed. Glue Gelato PH of the run off was on the high acceptable range. So it might also be a nutrient lock due to inappropriate soil PH. I need to check that closely... - temp: 24-27 C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - no water - RH: 54% light ON ; 50-52% light OFF D56 (16/01/2021): I fed with 3/4 of the recommended dose for mid late flower. WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.

Well, another week has passed and they are growing very well, now it's a matter of two to three weeks for me to change them to flora, this week I did a little defoliation on the plants and watered them again with top crop top veg fertilizer and I also did some bindings known as low stress training. =D

Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!

wow! this girl also took the fish shit i gave her last week and turned it into huge buds! I am going to do this every year from now onwards. No visible PWM either, just like the others. Will go out to the pot patch mid week after this leftover weather from hurricane Fiona clears to see how they fared in the high humidity and low temps.

Although I just flipped to 12/12 I decided to remove some of the fan leaves to improve light penetration. I also used some rubber bands to create a DIY scrog net with a lot of flexibility. In general the plant seems to be doing fine. In the mid of the week I added some phosphor boost to the regular nutrient solution, because my regular mix doesn't have phosphor at all. Forgot to mention that I dimmed the light to 600 ppfd since the beginning of flower. Also moved the air filter and co. to the top again, because it was getting too hot and dry.

She is growing strong and healthy.

Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH??? They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage. Little more detail....... April 25/20 - Day 15 - Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH. - each girl given 0.5L feed. - humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65% - light heights at 30” roughly right now. - GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light. - GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider. April 26/20 - Day 16 - no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue? - mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L - GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt, - increased light intensity a bit today. April 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue. - cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier. - GSC has liked the increased lighting. - all the girls got clockwise rotation today.
