Not much to report. About 4 weeks to go. Everything seems to be progressing nicely but I don't have really have enough experience to really be sure if it's optimal. I'm hoping they really start to fatten up soon. Started PK 13/14 on day 40 of flower.

Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

This one started great in the rqs boost all the way threw her cycle of growing was always impressive o her sis too much training on her but when I did they was no problem at all this one is a keeper and will be doing more in the future thanks 🙏

Hey growers, welcome back to the Pineapple Upside Down grow journal — week 17 of veg. The plant keeps showing solid, consistent growth week after week. Her structure is getting stronger, and the canopy’s really starting to fill out nicely. Leaves are broad, green, and vibrant — a sign that she’s fully balanced and comfortable in her environment. Nutrient uptake looks perfect; the roots are clearly doing their job. I decided to raise the EC slightly, moving up to 1.8, since she’s been drinking more and showing signs of higher demand. pH remains stable, and the overall system is clean, well oxygenated, and running smoothly. For now, there’s no sign of deficiencies or stress. Everything’s running exactly as planned. I’m still unsure whether I’ll top her before moving to flower. That decision will depend on the final height and how much space she takes once she’s ready to transition into the flowering box. At this point, I prefer to let her develop naturally, focusing on strength and branch structure rather than manipulation. This phase is all about preparing her for a smooth transition into bloom, with maximum vigor and balanced nutrition. So for now, patience and observation. Hey guys 5th week of vegetation going well they are little slow but is it all good, doing some LST and defoliation this are gonna be the only two training techniques used from now on for this grow. If you have any advice let me know 💪😃

Continued growth on day 105, as October gets closer the days get shorter and the nights a bit chillier. The plants have continued to develop beautiful trichomes and the smell is scrumptious. I still find a few caterpillars here and there though i have prevented most of them from destroying the plant. Please do not neglect to check up on the state of each bud if growing outdoors.

I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Week 10 started very well, maybe too much nitrogen during the flowering period, this caused a lot of sugar leaves to grow inside the buds! The cycle will end today or at most in 3 days. GC is at week 8 (54 days) OS is at week 10 (64 days)

Day 12 since flip. Not too much to report, we’re going thru the early flower stretch. Plants are enjoying the environment and are perked up. During this time we slowly ramp the lights up about 1-2% each day until we get to about 80%, that’s usually the max I can run this light in a 4x4. Slowly ramping up the light can avoid the stress caused by blasting your plants all at once. I’ve seen too many stress herms in early flower caused by too intense light. We will also begin to lower humidity by about 3% each week to increase VPD as the plants begin a higher rate of transpiration. We will also do a final clean up of the lower skirts again probably around day 21 (after they have finished their stretch) to ensure energy is directed towards top colas, and to ensure no funny business (herms) are going on underneath which is always a possibility with feminized seeds VPD: 1.22 🌡️: 78 Fahrenheit 💦: 60% 💡: 55% @ 20 inches (550 Ppfd) Just plain tap water until medium is saturated. Currently each lady gets about one gallon of water every 4 days.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Ok so I decided to make a tea to make up for the fact I cannot get bio enhancer for a booster. I decided to make something very similar but with a slight twist. I'm going to give the plants the tea at the end of the week. It's a pretty basic tea, im holding back the nutes. My plants are still getting their main source of macronutrients from the bio grow. So let's boost the micro's👌 its pretty much a hand full or two worm castings, some dried kelp meal, small amount of liquid kelp, humic acid, molasses and some ground up charcole 😉 put it that in pourous bag and let it bubble away.
