This week we had to go on a destination wedding and had to have friends house sit. Again 😔 I hate having to do that, but this time everything went very smoothly. We didnt lose any plants lol. Before we left I was able to get #2 transplanted in a 7x7 nursery pot. Man was she ready too! I've decided since I am only growing 2 Choc Mknt OGs that i will be training one(both high and low stress) and this plant(#2) I will be leaving completely alone to do her own thing 🤞 Watering has went smoothly this week. Both plants only wanting water once in this 7 day stretch. I think because the transplant soil was already very moist. #1 has rooted and already started taking off from her transplant last week. Tent update: Our ES300 by the green sunshine company arrived this week!!! I was able to get it I'll installed before leaving. So now in my Vivosun 2x4 tent I have 1 es300. I moved the viparspectra to my large flower tent. The Choc mint seem to absolutely love this light. I started it at 70% power(its a dimmable light fixture) and am slowly moving it up over the course of a week. Day 12: my friend reported great growth on #2!! So she is rooted as well and doing good. Also, the heat in my 2x4 is in the low 80° getting up to 85° even 90°(for a few minutes) I'm mostly running Sativas which love the heat, but I have noticed Choc Mint OG prefers it a little cooler. I'm running 9 different nutrients of theirs and it's working out nicely no hic cups at all. Now I've seen online somewhere that you cant add bud factor x with other advanced nutrients when flowering? Dense, Sticky, smelly, you name it! So as you can see in the pictures above the Monster Mash Auto 👹 has run her cycle. The buds have Amdererd nicely and ready for Harvest. She will be coming down tonight. Super excited for this one being my very first Autoflower grow! 💯 So the MarsHydroLed TSW 2000 has done beautiful things. The growth has been very impressive. Plant start in the flowering midweek

I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

This is the last week of hydro bio and water. Looking forward to looking at the root mass. Hoping for nice growth and a nice white root. Stay tuned for the final numbers.

So I thought the plants was going to be a flop but they turned it around, really long time tho for a auto flower, I could of ran photos with a better yield, but never the less these look like 10/10 nugs and smell amazing i can't wait to see how these look dried off.

Doggo update Couple vids sprinkled in here. Love doing slo-mo with frisbee throws and treats catching in their mouth. Slo Mo vids didn’t upload slo mo so I had to go thru and edit them and screen record it just to get them in slow mo on the site but they’re worth it Dukes ear has been bugging him and so he pins it down sometimes with the other ear straight up and he looks goofy as hell.

Aug 24: starting the sixth week of flowering. I’ve added another Scrog layer mostly to help keep fan leaves out of the way and expose the bud sites. This “loose Scrog” or whatever technique works quite well. She’s fairly leafy but the buds are coming. 👍 defoliated to remove fan leaves that were growing toward centre. Don’t want to overdo it but there needed to be some removed. Aug 25: nice sunny day and had the UV lights going. Took flash pics just before using the 730 nm far red light. Don’t use a flash like this if you don’t have the red light as you might cause it to hermie. But you can get great flash pics. 👍 Aug 26: looking good. Watered with potassium silicate this evening. It’s a strong base and it takes a fair bit of vinegar to get the pH back down to about 6.4. That’s fine though because the microbiota (‘bugs’) will appreciate a serving of easily digested acetate. That’s part of why it’s better to use vinegar than HCl. Chloride would not help but the organic acetic acid does help.
