What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

At day 22, the girls has cut their water consumption by over 60%. the strech is definitely over. The buds are now swelling. The terpenes are showing themselves.

Blue Dream is on her final push of ripening. I have cut off her feed and she is just on ph water now. She smells great, but is smaller due to colder conditions with winter. My next update will likely be the harvest. I really enjoyed this strain and I’m very glad I was able to see it through until the end. I wanted to harvest 9 days ago or so, but got advice from a lot of fellow growers who told me to remain patient and ignore all wishful thinking. The average time from seed to harvest for this plant is 70-80 days, I managed to harvest on day 87. The smell is loud and she looks beautiful. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to get these genetics again in the future. Completely satisfied with using this strain as an introduction into growing.

Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They and with the trichomes just starting to form and 2 more moths to go. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. The colas are large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Day 56: Like I said in the 2 weeks before this one, I was on vacation and a friend took care of my plants. This is the last week he helped out, I will be taking care of them again in the upcomming week. Well what can I say about this week; - Weather/climate was still bad. Lots of rain and cold temps. - They kind of failed with Low stress training, they went up and stretched without proper bending. - One plant has already mature looking buds but still on the small size. Two/three of them are going well and one is falling behind flowering wise. - They look nicely green tought. Until next week.

June 22: nice weather has finally arrived, and the plant is at the perfect growth stage to take advantage of warm 17 hours of sunlight days. She’s started into the “inch per day” vegetative growth stage which is always fun. She had compost tea yesterday morning and is looking really good right now. Cool spring has likely slowed growth but she’s ready to rock now with the arrival of nice weather. June 22: tied down with SCROG net attached to bag with large clips. Trying to keep the Eight growth tips at the same elevation and exposed to sun. June 24: tie down seems to have worked as there’s now 8 nice colas forming and lots of time to go for 16 before starting flowering in mid-July. June 25: looking good. Watered with some soluble seaweed extract and molasses. June 26: final round of topping to get 16 growth tips. Removed and replaced scrog net but still clipped to edge of bag. Seems fine for now and will readjust as the 16 colas form.

Surveiller l'aspect des plantes, les pointes des feuilles. Observer le haut et le bas. La couleur de la plante doit être uniforme entre chaque partie sinon c'est qu'elle a un manque ou un excès. Le plus souvent étant donné les engrais complet que nous utilisons il s'agit d'un excès. Dans ce cas il suffira simplement de faire un arrosage à l'eau au lieu de l'engrais et de reprendre les engrais à plus faible dose. Les tiges sont un bonne indicateur de la santé des plantes, hors génétique spécifique, elles doivent être verte et tendre, pas dur. On continue la FIM et la taille de certaines feuilles qui peuvent être gênante.

First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Let the bottom buds for few more days

Day 56 They recovered from their transplant shock and are growing fast, almost 10cm in 1 week, I’ll flip them into flower next Saturday. Even tho I’m wasn’t that happy with how the veg stage went at the beginning, I feel like they are really happy with their environment. Still haven’t solved the nutrient burn completely.. as I’m not really able to flush them with high ph water to balance the low ph soil. I’m thankful for every advice 🙏🏾

it was interesting and easy, the variety has a very high potential, the plant has survived both a deficit and an overdose, but she coped well! the effect is pleasant and strong. I recommend an excellent variety for its price!

Day 63 Big tall Cola's on this bad boy! the whole plant is filled with Flowers.

She's comming along just nicely nice tall branches with stacked bud sites who knew I'd make it dis far its alot of work trial and error it's like a full time job tending to my girls I defol her and the green crack better air flow. And light penetration

This grow started on October 20, and today is December 26, which puts the plants into Week 9 of the overall cycle. The last defoliation and pruning was done around December 16. After that, I made a conscious decision to stop cutting and stressing the plants. Earlier in veg I definitely over-stressed them — too much training, too many interventions. In hindsight, that slowed things down instead of helping. From this point on, the goal was to let the plants recover, grow freely, and build momentum in order to reach the flowering stage as smoothly and quickly as possible. Lesson learned for future grows: less stress fewer unnecessary cuts more patience Sometimes the hardest part is not touching the plants at all, especially when your hands are itching to train and optimize everything. Week 9 is about recovery, structure, and preparation for flower. Next week marks the start of flowering.
