This is obviously not week one. I had this Power Africa clone in the corner of my mother tent under some weak CFL lights, i transplanted it A week or two ago. I have no definite plans for this plant but I decided to HST her today, i'll see what happens over the next couple weeks. I do intend to turn the harvest into hash, so 100 grams would do fine.

The hairs are really showing right now and a slight fruity perfume is filling the grow closet. The bright colors glisten and captivate and I just stare and stare. In between dunk feeds I do regularly top pours. The plants are still short. Not much of an early flower growth spurt. But the bud sites are looking healthy and sticky already so I expecting some top shelf, even if it’s not much of it 🤣

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. End of Week 6 Added CO2 with regulator and controller! Added the trellis net to spread out the canopy and get more even light to bud sites. The ladies have lost some momentum and they're drinking less because of the pest issue. Although they should be growing faster because of the CO2 supplementation I'm sure when the thrips are gone they will explode. I also performed some HST by removing fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Still fighting the thrips... Every time I spray Bio-Insek and Xterminator (Agro-Organics) it deals with the problem for a few days until the eggs and larvae that the thrips left behind hatch and start munching on the plants again. The ladies are strong and healthy and get a slight wilt when I haven't sprayed IPM for a few days this tells me that its not a major issue but I need to get rid of them especially because I want to flip to flower soon. It seems that the problem is under control. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

Week 7 of flower for Lemon Orange by Greenhouse Coming to what will probably be the last week of ripening before i chop them all down. Already took down 75% of the fast pheno and tried some on my crafty+ vaporizer and yeah...she hits 😂

Week 10 into this grow and just finished week 4 of flower. The girls are looking great and starting to smell just as great. Definitely some hungry hippos. Buds are filling in nicely. Already medium sized and still going frosty colas. Beautiful widow white with that pungent gorilla smell. Like I said before such a wonderful mix. Added a video this week of the girls and my canopy.

Generalmente en 3°o 4° semana de floración elimino el vegetativo. También se a regado estimulante de floración delta 9 de manera foliar aprox cada 10 días. This week I’m still trying to resolve lockout issues on other plants in the tent by lowering the feed solution ph. I lowered the intake ph to 6.35. This reduced the runoff ph to 7.0-7.82. I have been watering 1500 ml with 125ml run off. This is low and I will Increase water to 1750ml next time. While the other plants in the tent reflect nutrient issues, White LSD looks healthy so far. Just left a bean in the garden.did not feed her except for some runoff from the flower room. This year seems to be horrid for outdoors around the world. Mould spores blowing around.. I think if I do put doors next year I will pick a nice landrace strain maybe some Kumaoni.. I will report back once she gets fully dried and trimmed.

Only had chance to do photos on day 41 guys, apologies for that. She seems to be growing well this week. Only 11cm vertical growth but another top (from the FIMing) has caught up! Still very bushy structure. She has not entered flowering yet. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Just more growth. Mostly lst at this point, as you may be able to see with the stakes. For the lst here I use bread ties and horseshoe stakes. It’s what was laying around.

Running out of space with the GSC 1 of the GSC is looking great with some really nice flowers coming along the other 2 seem to have a-lot less bulk in the flowers and seem to be stretching a fair amount. I have had to do some super cropping to keep the top of the flowers from getting too close to the light. Had a problem with the nutrient tank filter getting clogged and al, the auto pots drying out! One of the plants had started to wilt. Ended up taking the reservoir out and cleaning it before adding fresh nutes. Have been using professors gold terpintine for flower but have had this problem before the additive ends up causing build up of growth in the tank and this build up blocks the hoses. For now have stopped using and just using: GT FLOWER FOR COCO A & B GT FLUVAIC ACID GT CAL MAG GT POTASSIUM ADDITIVE PPM at around 600 down from 800 as I was getting a bit of tip burn on the shade leaves. Not really happy with how a couple of the plants are progressing, the buds seem way undersized for week 5 but will carry on

i looked awesome all growcycle...i streched alot & i noticed it drank alot more then the other plants while growing...had a good yield, i´m very happy overall

Day 46. So far no major problems . They enjoyed the pk boost last 11days (5doses in 11days total 2mil given) pk boost over. Gonna just use bloom f3eed now for last 3/4 weeks . Happy Growing :)

This girl has been one of my favorites. Pineapple express is true to it name looking like a pineapple once it fades the yellow, and the green are very beautiful together smells gassy with pineapple busting out of every tone

The seed was free and i tried with no expectations. the plant maintained a deep green with great bud structure for lollipopping it made it easy to know what was able to be pruned or not quite easily. seemed to be very resistant to bugs. buds were dense but not as crystally as i might have expected, potentially i chopped a little too early.. *shrug* i will update when it has dried sufficiently
