3rd flower week complete. I cant help but think I've ruined one of the 2 girls. Shes taking a really long time to recover and bud growth is slow and steady. I've defoliated for about an hour and a half tonight and now really need to get some sleep! I'll pop back tomorrow with lots more photos and a more in depth update on what has changed this week. Update........ so ive been caring for the burnt up plant throughout the week. Shes not gotten any worse but just seems a little stressed now. I decided to remove the worst of the burnt and dried up leaves last night. I know it will also cause stress but I didn't want the rotting leaves to cause any bacteria growth around the healthy plants. They've been on everyday waterings at around 1.6 EC. I've included some Hygrowzyme in the last few feeds in the hope some beneficial enzymes may help the root zone take on nutrients. Despite one of the pair being unwell the other is healthy and vigorous. Shes not getting the attention she rightly deserves so I've included lots of photos to this weeks diary. I wouldn't want anyone to be put off from growing this strain as it has so much potential. I'm hoping that the healthy plant produces the goods and leaves me wanting more.

3/24 start of wk 3 of flowering. This strain has decent internodal spacing. About 1 or so inches in between each bud spot. Looking forward to how the buds progress. There hasnt been too much of a stretch since flowering has started 3/29 starting to produce some smell

The plants grows verry well,no problems at all,the temprature is really good,the humidity is awesome so we are just waiting for the magic to happens!

Noticing the stretch stop, and now packing out there bud sites 💪💚 Strong structure, Xmas tree 🎄 shape. All natural growth no training. Day 54 23/08/24 Friday Watering only today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, I'm watering in 350ml no run off. 400ml I'm seeing tiny run off. Day 56 25/08/24 Sunday Water today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Added bud candy and rhino skin 1ml per litre.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

She went a bit over time as she spent some time healing as I started on organic (won’t again) can end on organic but I’d suggest vegging with synthetic as healing times especially with autos is quicker and necessary because of limited time! I wet trimmed her and dried in brown paper bags at 21.5c-22c (70.7F - 71.6F) humidity 45% static! Took 7 days! Now into there jars for curing! Be back in 2 weeks for a smoke report as I’m going to let it cure first this time!

Day 45-52 (Day 46) I just realized I forgot to zip up a small flap in the tent for at least 5 days or so. This probably made the added co2 useless. All the plants are slightly clawing and almost look overwatered, which is normal for plant at this stage but I wonder if the lower co2 levels are contributing at all. I couldn’t help myself today and did a small defoliation. Hopefully this doesn’t stress them out too much. I took about 15-20 leaves per plant. I really want some of this larf on the bottom fill out more. Even by 10-15%. (Day 47) Wow. I just noticed that #5 is putting on a thick layer of late frost. I’m guessing this has to do with all the mid flower feedings. Unfortunately the density on this girl lacking big time. Especially on the lowers. This could be genetic but there is too many variables at play to say for sure. If this stuff smokes proper I will continue to feed in mid flower. Plants are really starting to fade out here now. #3 in particular has some odd red coloring in a few of the leaves. (Day 48) I watered in 2 gallons on each plant making sure to get some decent runoff from each. Sucks that #3 didn’t fill out. The genetic potential was definitely there, something just went awry after that tea I gave it. I have at least 2 or 3 clones of that I will try outdoors. It’s been a very P hungry plant too. The stems were purpling like crazy, even in veg. Some people say this can be fixed with a microbial product like Mammoth P or Tribus which I might try for my next grow. #6 isn’t really filling out much either unfortunately. Tops look decent but everything under that is pretty leafy and airy. #1 and #7 are the clear winners here. #1 especially is picture perfect. If I wasn’t working on another project after this I would clone just #1 and run another scrog like this from clone. (Day 50) I was plucking some leaves today and I found a confirmed banana sticking out of one of the main colas on the stubby pheno. I didn’t defoliate this one too much so I wonder if it was caused by stress at all. I hope I don’t find anymore because we only have 10 days left here. (Day 52) My family member trimmed up the m39. It looks super scraggly but has some decent crystal nonetheless. That’s partly why I would never use an amazon blurple for flowering. It just doesn’t have the same canopy penetration that a light like mine does. Although for a budget setup they’re pretty awesome.
