Hi growers. It's end of week 5 of flowering. So far, all girls looks quite well, only OG is showing that he is missing some zink.. Hope to heal her... Red mandarine is showing her true color as well.. Live that purple!! Stay stoned and keep growing! One love!

As you can see the white powdery mold is starting to lose my thoughts were getting a HEPA filter into the room . 2) because this mold mostly lives on leaves what I did is I locked out the soil. This was a technique passed on by a legacy grower in my area.The way it was explained is by making the pH higher than seven the plant would no longer be able to receive nutrients through the soil and it would have to eat whatever nutrients are left in the leaves. This woukd change the pH of the leaves aswell to help kill the mold . Lastly I greatly increased my wind movement so that air would be continuously moving no matter what it was a little bit hard on the leave tips that burnt a little bit but at this point windburn on leaves is pretty irrelevant when you're looking at the whole picture. I don't think this would have worked with any other genetics but exotic seeds mostly because from what I've seen with them is a very high resistance to mold and I think that played a huge part of the process. Also having diablo nutrients monster wash, without that I do not think I would have won this battle

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Two low branch broke off due to wind and stem wasnt stong enough for weight of the buds....other than that just a handful or two of defoliation every two day or so....makes trimming ez lol

My first grow was a rollercoster ride of emotions. Hope and worry have taken turns throuout the whole grow. Harvest day has finally come. I'm not so happy about the color of the trichomes. There are still too manny clear trichome heads, but the overall apearance of the plants made me think that maybe the plants are not able to ripen completely. The color of trichomes hasn't changes much in the last 2 weeks. I've been flushing for 3 weeks now, so there shouldnt be much nutrients left in the soil. All the leafs are yellow and rotting. Since I had budrot on Plant #2, I am worried to get more budrot through the rotting leafs. So I decided to harvest now, in order to save what I have grown so far. Yield: Plant #1: 532g (wet with stem) Plant #2: 475g (wet with stem, missing main cola due to budrot) I expect a yield of about 100 g of dried buds.

Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7). Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

Day 57 - plant 1 still going great, stretch over, building bud mass. Plant 2 also doing well, looks about a week behind #1, and the leaf discoloration on upper fan leaves hasn’t abated. I’ll look into that more this week. Day 58 - drunken “deer gnaw” defoliation of the canopy fan leaves. Day 60 - Houston, we have a problem. Vent fan isn’t venting. Will have to research and/or swap out. Humidity through the roof. Bad timing! Day 61 - fixed extraction fan. Knocked tube off of inlet somehow 🙄

Stretching has ended finally and budding and stacking has started, yay

Day 29 of vegetation: raise the humidity to 60% trichomes on the leaves can be seen with the naked eye. I have never seen trichomes appear on vegetation before Day 31 of vegetation: remove 10 large leaves and made an LST. Now literally ALL the lower leaves receive 100% of the light After 35 days of vegetation, the plant looks like it ready to start flowering. Watering volume week 5: Day 29-35 - 400 ml per day
