Starting of flowering!

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

11 Noviembre: Primer riego con 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 2.9EC y 6.2pH, en una semana más ya deberían estar recibiendo 3.0EC y seguir con esa concentración por todo el cultivo. Alturas están entre 15cm y 20cm. 13 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH. Hoy se removieron los primeros nodos de cada planta y se les hizo poda apical. 14 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH en la mañana. En la tarde se realizó transplante a maceteros definitivos de 5 litros con 4 litros de sustrato aprox. el cual fue pre cargado hasta la capacidad de campo, con 3.0EC y 5.8pH, desde este punto se debe esperar un par de días hasta que el dryback(secado) del sustrato sea de un 35-40%, lo cual vendría siendo el primer P3 del cultivo, una vez se alcance ese porcentaje de secado, se comenzará con los primeros riegos de precisión llamados P1.

Rain and more rain most of the week has stretched her alot. Plant is healthy, I managed to sneak in feed between rain storms.

Completed 1st week of flower and did a major defoliation a couple days ago, but you can't tell anymore. Growth is picking up as a few heads already popped through top screen. Also upgraded my exhaust fans to the AC Infinity w/ Humidity Controller. Wow, what a big difference!

Buds formed this week, on around 10 main stems, each with main bud and half a dozen secondary buds. Once per week: Ionic Liquid Silicon 13ml; Ionic PK Boost 13ml; PH Down, ~20 drops. This is in addition to what she receives daily: Ionic Liquid Oxygen 10ml; Ionic Hydro Bloom 10ml; occasional few drops of Ionic PH Down. EC=2000 uS/cm, PH=5.5 (will rise to 6.3 through week). This is close to the EC level that caused nutrient lockout/burn earlier, during veg; fingers crossed we don't see a repeat. Raised light twice this week, but still a bit of leaf bleaching; plant grew a further 25cm.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

Moin 😎, Woche 11 ist vorbei und die Damen gehen so langsam in Rente. Und zumindest die Papaya sieht auch schon so aus. 👻 Ich reduziere jetzt schrittweise die Wasserzufuhr und die Lichtstärke. Hatte bis jetzt so um die 1000 PPFD in der Mitte und 850 an den Rändern und ich gehe zurück bis auf 600 PPFD in den nächsten 10 Tagen. Weiß nicht, ob sie noch viel länger brauchen werden. Trichome sind 70% milchig und 30% klar. Auf den Zuckerblättern schon das eine oder andere Bernsteinfarbene. Ich habe mir einen 150L Weinkühlschrank zugelegt (siehe Video) den versorge ich erstmal provisorisch mit einer Umluft und eventuell schon einer RH gesteuerten Abluft und dann werde ich Buds zum Testen schonmal reinlegen. Ich möchte Next Level Qualität und beim Grow kann ich kaum noch was rausholen. Jetzt muss die Trocknung optimiert werden. Als Tipp kann ich euch schonmal mitgeben, dass ihr am besten beim Trocknen einen VPD von 0.9kPa aufrecht erhaltet. Egal wie die Temperaturen erstmal sind. Started this week of with more lst gonna add scrog net this week

10/7/18- LST and preparing for topping # 3 for 8 colas. Everything looking healthy so far 10/10/18- Topped #3- probably should have waited maybe an extra day. Water 1/2 gallon with urb and Aloe water.

Went away for seven days had a friend come by and water the garden Absolutely exploded since I’ve seen them last very pleased with all of the plants except for mystery auto number one. It is disappointing me some but hopefully the top will bring more growth. Can’t wait to see these continued to develop!!!

Not a verry good grow at all. I will try to use a scrog net in the Future…:/
