Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

Bumped up the nutrients this week. not by much, though. Just enough to top off. I prefer to make gradual increases and underfeed rather than overfeeding. To me it's easier to correct problems of underfeeding than to correct the problems from overfeeding.

The hardest part of growing, is the time for harvest... I didn't do the norm, no 12/12 I do 10/14.. Do I harvest? I flushed her out, its only week 6 of flower, and I feel like there is plenty of time for these babies to bulk up... things are on cruise control, moon mintz is a 9 week flowering plant. She is looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL. This whole grow, except the hermie... has been a blessing. I love this plant, seeing my efforts going into these huge buds is very very amazing.

Good week, soft transplanted just done. From 4.5 inch pots to 5 gallon pots. So far so good. I've had some great results with FastBuds genetics on previous grows, hopefully all goes well

Do you see that SWAMPMONSTER in the corner of the tent there ?? The Queen towers above the canopy and the rest of the plants lol. It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Just as expected stated in our last weeks update this week is awesome! First signs of the flowers are showing and the plants look very beautiful and green. These plants are as good as it gets really loving these, the faint smell that they spread in the tent is very smooth and gives me a happy smile on my face every time i open the tent to give my lovely ladies some attention and nutrients. shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

05/19/2021 Week #7 flower. Gave her a good rinse today she was covered with pollen from nearby trees, drinking more water took 2 full two liter bottles before any runoff, soaking it up like a sponge. Couple hours later fed her some (1-3-3-1.5) N-P-K-calcium I anticipate two more weeks till harvest but we will see. Just got to keep her hydrated for next couple weeks. Apparently she is perking up! after taking a rest for a week or so. And putting on new flowers, and Tangie parentage is very identifiable in her SMELL! WOW Enjoy the videos.🙏 Ps. I decided to fix floppy stem, hopefully it will now put more effort into finishing flower! Will she swell in last weeks??

more later 3rd Apr, today is day of two Amnesias - its time. they are on peak trichoms are milky 10% amber. Zkittles is on grotek final flush strawberry I trying if it change her smell and she is good now, but I fed her week ago with rocket fuel some fertilizers for peppers (11-6-8) coz im was out with bloom fertilizer, Amnesia 3 get this feed too but little bit improvemed with bio grow and rest of biobloom, yesterday I bought Powder Feeding PK booster/mineral and thats should be good. More later after some smoke :D

At the start of the week I fimmed a few high blooms to slow growth. Humidity kept climbing untill I added a carbon filter 4inch on a inline fan as an exhaust, added a 2nd fan to circulate more. Checked pH around 4 times a day due to.such a small tank. At the end of this week I defoliated and also took around 40 cuttings which I will post separate to this dairy, they will be in a DWC setup.
