Week 9 of Flower & Happy Day 60 of Flower, you beauty 😍 She continues to stun with her amazing colours fading. I tried to best show her beauty with different bgr colors, with whatever is possible in my home. I decided against flushing her. I will decrease her feeding towards the end, but not flush her. Let's see how that works out. Currently guessing another 7 days? Let me know what you think :) Will post some trichome shots later. Happy day 🍃☀️ Day 61 - Took some trichome shots today. From the pictures I would almost say she's there? I see so many amber ones and purple transparent milky mixed ones. Hard to say. She's also almost red now, her leaves, no leaf left without fading... I didn't plan for her to be ready this week, aaaaaaaaah. Will she make another 5 days? I hope so. Also the light green shining things, what is it? I find them curled up on buds, they grow a white hair outside but they are curled like a little ball, is it balls???? I watered them today with 3l and a lighter feeding, 2ml bloom and topmax. I guess it was her last watering 😌 Looking at the trichomes and planning a little time-wise, I think I might let her under the light the whole tomorrow, then start the next in Darkness and leave her in the dark for the following 48hours. That should give me some time to prepare her harvest and upcoming drying situation a bit better. Exciting yeay 😝 Day 62 of Flower and 132 days in total and this lady has her last day with light. I went and checked her trichomes again, from top to bottom. She's ready 😍Now into darkness for min. 48 hours yeay

the girl got a lot of heat sun and rain this week :D everything looks good she is already starting to bloom :).

This week shows a lot of stem growth as well as the presence of some clones! Too excited about how big the girls are getting have a feeling they are going to be getting bigger at a fast rate at this point. I am still keeping them on the same nutrient and light schedule at the moment. I have a lot more pictures and videos this week because lets be honest I am still getting the hang of this thang!

Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

D56 - Today is the first day in the eighth week of veg for #2 and the seventh for #1. This will be the final week of veg for the girl as I'm ready to flip in a few days. I did the last heavy defoliation by removing most leaves and branches except the tops. I aim to get the girl to put all the flowering energy into the tops and hopefully result in big colas without popcorn nugs or larf. I did keep a few clones from each girl, though. After defoliation, I sprayed down the girl with my chili tincture to combat the thrips. I took great care to hit all leaves on both sides. This tincture is harsh to work with, and I was coughing like mad, and I damn near filled my N95 mask with snot (yummy!). After all this snot, drool and coughing, I just wanted to be done for the day, so I stressed checking out how my new scrog frame fits. The frame, of course, fell and broke one of the tops clean off. Ugh! I tried to fix it with some tape but the break was in a weird spot and it didn't work. Not a massive deal as it was a corner top, and there will be 15 other tops. Still annoying, but hey, it's my damn fault for stressing. D57 - The girls have bounced back nicely from their heavy defoliation. I just snapped a couple of pics as I hung a blue sticky trap in the tent. I always have regular yellow sticky traps in my tent to monitor pest pressure. However, thrips aren't that interested in yellow but are attracted to blue. D59 - I flipped my lights today from the veg mode to the flower-inducing mode. I have no idea how much these girls will stretch, so better sooner than later. Also, I finally got around to start training one of the tops toward the middle of each girl. (About damn time!) I've thought about it for quite a while but have been ignoring it. The lights are flipped now, so we are almost out of veg time. Now or never! D62 - The girls look healthy, and I can't see any thrip damage on the newer leaves. Fingers crossed that the buggers are gone! I gave each girl around 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3.

By the way, there are always three plants on the Farm, this time there are two Purple Punch and this diary will be dedicated to them. I would like to thank James of the Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these strains. LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L AirPot Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition A few words about Purple Punch Automatic. The astonishing Purple Punch, famous for her sweet berry and candy flavors, received the long-awaited autoflowering treatment. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Earth is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Air-Pot's, Organic Additives that I mix with Earth. From the beginning of this hobby, I use only organic fertilizers. I used 11L pots, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the ground and mixed everything well. After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil. After planting is completed, they enter their new home. As I wrote earlier, in addition to the two Purple Punch on the Farm, there is also one Watermelon Automatic plant that will keep them company. The temperature in the Box at that time was 23 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 45%, so I will have to put a humidifier to raise the humidity. I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends. 14 - 17/01/2021 I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface. 18/01/2021 The first Purple Punch sprouted. The other is still not peeking out. If it doesn’t sprout tomorrow, I’ll put new seeds on a wet paper towel to speed up the germination of new seed. Farm: 23 degrees - 60% humidity 19/01/2021 I put new seeds on a wet makeup remover pad :), and let it germinate. 21/01/2021 I put the germinated seed in the ground. They are now officially Purple Punch # 1 and # 2 Farm: 24.7 degrees - 55% humidity 22/01/2021 I watered the plant with a small amount of water to which I only regulated p.H at 6.4. Farm: 24.5 degrees - 54% humidity 23/01/2021 Purple Punch # 2 has sprouted. I'm quite late with the publication of the diary, the reason is the large number of photos I take and then I need to find time to put everything in a pile, along with the notes and type everything nicely. No matter how much time I spend on the diary, it relaxes me and makes me happy. See you soon.

week intel: im felling in love with them everything is good . this week was time of second net layer , the first layer was for spreading the branches and doing LST now the second layer is for supporting branches for later weeks when the buds gain weight and gets heavy the net will hold branch stand up without benting. stresses: im just gonna cause a little E.C stress to raise the terpens. i found their max tolerance is 1.9 E.C so im not gonna reach or get close to that amount again and beside this wont cause any more streses untill week 6 that will do second pruning and we are done with trainings then. feeding: as always im feeding plants 3 times per week with nutrients , no plain water at all, just with nutrients with adjusted p.h at this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) and karbo about 950 ppm - 1.8 e.c to cause a little e.c stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose for start of Green House Feeding Booster around 267 ppm - 0.6 e.c alone cuz this bad boy is very strong. day 5 : i feed them with medium dose of Top-Max around 160 ppm - 0.3 e.c to let them recover the stresses and eat the previous nutrients untill next feed at next week and the next 2 days will rest and eat :D just remember never feed them plain water besides the first week of germination always feed water with nutrients to feed them right p.h every time and to avoid excess water problems, and let them eat the previous meal for 24 hours and dry the soil, so at total only feeding nutrients 3 times a week other days let them dry and rest

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Things are going ok with this plant for now. Droops a bit now and then, but it's alright I figure. Depends heavily on how much water it has left.
