Transplant during week 3 was a success! All 4 plants made it from their original solo cup containers into their 5 gallon fabric pots. Once in their larger pots, each plant was watered with 1 gallon of water/plant (no nutrient). Lighting was also brought back up to 30% this week as the leaf curling that was observed previously has subsided.

June 27th - field checks for sure as the week progresses. Making sure outdoor plants get amended with updated feedings and Mtce. ~ 6 more weeks of Veg, thats all !!! - Southern Ontario gets just 14hrs of day-lite on Aug 13th. That is the first day of Flower for me. 28th - visited Congo #3 x Bangi Haze, Purple Dawn and Russian Tzar Bomba - top-dressed each 15 gal fabric pot - re-applied support bamboo and isolated stalk - great to see Lady Bugs on the plants. We could find no other insects or bite marks. LadyBugs are welcome anytime July 1/2 - cleaned the weeds around the plant bases / hillside of the LSD and Panama Red plants ( + purpsberry and Honduras x Panama) - noticed the wind had Split the FIM-site on the Panama Red. Being so fresh, duct-tape leaves no fear that the repaired-joint is exposed. “Are Toppings safer than FIMS, when exposed to outdoor Wind stresses ?” Maybe that little nuggett on top truly holds the joint together. The split on the Fim was about to go right down the plant. - soils amended towards 15gal pots, with fresh Fertilizer, compost, azomite, kelp meal - each plant given a gallon of nutrients on the first, ahead of a possible storm. No storm, plants fed 1.25 gallons of root boost ea., through Soil Amendment… today, the 2nd - next couple of waterings are Reduced strength but full spectrum Nutrients. - Panama Red is as wide as it is tall. With wispy branches that are full of tiny delicate leaves. I threw a quik video into the photos. Better effort next time. There is a Real lacey kind of branch network on this strain - LSD is a hardy stocky plant. Supernhealthy

######################################### HARVEST (Day 110 / December 21) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x4 because of heater and dehumidification but each plant averaged a 2x3 canopy. Each plant had a dedicated light, Sage 2 used the HLG 300 V2 Rspec and Sage 3 used the CMH 315. It's not an accurate comparison of lights because there was some overlap but I'm just utilizing my resources the best I can for this dedicated autoflower tent. The plants were grown in hydroponics using a custom two-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Sage #3 had an issue just after stretch, and I think I burnt it a bit when the CMH was at 22". I also experimented with a single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7 and turned out surprisingly well - see the results below. It's always fun to see the two contrasting phenotypes side by side. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- From day 106 to day 110, I just stopped feeding and let the ppms run down. No dark period and no flush. On day 110 they were chopped. I probably could have let them go a bit longer, but my concerns were growing with Sage 3 and the sugar leaves being brittle and flacking off onto lower buds promoting bud rot. The smell of this flower on the plant was funk and was hard to control the funk... even with a carbon filter. Trichomes are slightly amber, mostly milky overall. I'm convinced hydroponics can add a couple of weeks of veg time to the run compared to coco/soil. Cutting the Scrog net was required. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- The plants were dried in a 3x3 tent, so I had to cut the plants in 1/4 sections to fit in the 3x3 drying tent for a slow dry. Branches were hung to dry on burlap twine in a tent in complete darkness, branches upside down. The temps were dialed in at 60F by pointing AC at the intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. Ambient RH in my house is 30% due to winter so I had to use two humidifiers and an Inkbird controller to add humidity to the room and block the humidity streams from hitting plants directly. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 8, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. I pulled the branches to trim as they were ready around starting around day 12. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- I trimmed each branch as it was ready but there were times when I pulled more than I could trim without being interrupted so a few branches did overdry on my trim table due to the low ambient RH due to winter. Very few fan leaves on branches, so most trim was all sugar leaves. I went tight with trim to ensure a better flower product and more supply for edible totaling in over 11 ounces of trim product. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and boveda/boost 8gr humidity pack. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. I started by burping once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange. Because the flower product was already at almost 62% when packaged in jars, quite the contrast from drying in summer conditions, I only needed to burp once per day and mold really wasn't much of an issue due to low humidity in winter. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 10 day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== Sage 2: 301g (10.75oz) Sage 3: 377g (13.46oz) ---------------------------------------- Total: 670g (23.93oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== Sage 2: 204g Sage 3: 135g ---------------------------------------- Total: 327g (11.67oz) **I went tight on the trim for better flower product and sufficient supply for edibles, and is calculated in overall yield. ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Flower: 678g (24.21oz) Trim: 327g (11.68oz) ---------------------------------------- Total: 1005g (35.89oz) (2.24lb) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 1005g / 12 sqft (3x4 canopy) = 83.75g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 615 Watts / 12 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 51.25 watts per sqft. 1005g / 615 watts = 1.63 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- On day 10 of cure, I tested the flower and passed some to a few friends for their input. Feedback was positive. One little bud was given to a friend and he reported it stunk his entire car. Sticky, trichome-covered fire! Smoke is smooth, no cough. White ash. The 60/40 (sativa/indica) is a blend that is on point. Sage Scout definitely is a heavy hitter; upwards of 3.5 hour noticeable head/body change with no couchlock at the end. In regards to flavor and smell, it's not fully there yet on only day 10 of cure. The flavors/scents are still muted but I expect the flavours to prevail after 6-8 weeks of curing. Very funky and strong smell that bursts past the mason jar lids. Piney sweet scent. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Honestly, I only have two regrets with this run. 1. More aggressive lolipopping! I just feel if I had lolipopped more, I would have had a denser product overall. The flower product is indeed dense, and all in all, I'm happy with the result, but it's I'm adding as a reminder for the next run. I need to be more selective. 2. I slacked on the training of Sage #2 due to the hard-to-reach factor which probably affected about additional 1-2 oz of yield. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- 1. I’m was very happy with Microbial Mass product in combination with Orca. Once again, I was overall happy with Advanced Coco blend for RWDC. I went with Coco product because Coco is similar to hydroponics, the AN Coco line just has added Calmag to it. I didn’t really see any issues with the AN Coco line and I like the autonomous factor of AN sensi products because my photoperiod tent takes some of my attention, so it is nice to have this autolower tent on auto-pilot for the majority of the grow. 2. When harvesting, I did find a few spots of concern in the root system, so I will definitely upgrade the pump from 250gph to a 400gph for better flow to combat that issue. 3. My experiment with a single water change when switching to bloom nutrients was a surprising result. Sage 2 (purple pheno) performed well with no deficiencies which I had trouble sorting out the deficiency on Sage 3. I continue to wonder if it was salt build-up, but it seemed to start shortly after the change to bloom nutrients so maybe it was a nitrogen/calmag issue. I may add an additional water change mid-flower (week 11) to the next run and see if it makes any difference is the same conditions happen. 4. I'll also like to move the two-site system to the front of the tent for better accessibility to train the plants. 5. I'm also looking at the floorplan of the tent and I think I can run a single system in parallel next to this two-site system and still have room for heater/dehumidifier and still keep accessibility for training. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- Night Owl genetics has performed once again in my RDWC setup. I also feel a dedicated light for each plant really helped improve the yield. If I calculate a 2x3 space for each plant, with a total of 615 watts / 12 sq ft, running at 51.25 watts per square foot is the result. In regards to gram per watt, I've calculated the result is nearly 1.63 gram per watt when using 1005g / 615 watts. My goal was a pound per plant, I was happy to exceed that goal line with autoflowers with 2.24lb total yield. ----------------------------------------------------------- THE END ----------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for checking out my diary! I typically journal in my notebook but I put some time and effort into documenting my grows on this platform in hopes it will help a new or experienced grower with their DWC journey. Any questions or suggestions are welcomed. Happy growing!

Two girls one cup week 5?? I cant count ATM.. if you're just tuning in, check previous week's for daily progression. Day 28- off to an explosive start for the week. Eating and drinking more than ever. Topping off RES daily between 30-40 fl oz with calmag'd water. Changed RES yesterday to 3/4 strength week 4 GHE light. Breakdown as follows. 2gal water/calmag - 200ppm Micro - 9mL Grow - 8.4mL Bloom - 6.3mL RES total after ph corrections - 720 @ 5.68. Light up 30in - 20 DLI Already had to top off with 26oz calmag'd water this morning and I just changed RES last night. TDS dropped from 720 to 661 within 12hrs, as well as the water level. Ph drift up to 6.18 as usual. I really think every other day RES changes may help keep these girls npk right where it needs to be with how much they're eating. As long as I don't stress em too much more that is. Last week was rough on the girls for sure. Gave em a .5mL shot of Micro tonight to boost nitrogen levels a bit due to the coloration on lower fan leaves and some uppers. May supplement more N into next RES change right off the bat Will add to the timelapse daily as long as i dont f up the footage like i have done many times already. Day 29- still looking a little hungry and how fast tds is dropping it def shows in more than one place. Bump up RES to full strength week 4 GHE light. Breakdown as follows. Water - 2gal Micro - 12mL Grow - 11.2mL Bloom - 8.4mL Total after ph corrections: 5.68/980 They're def bushing up. The stretch is coming and GC already shows signs of it starting. Wish they'd bush up more before, but i gotta roll with the flow. Definitely branching out down all over and are showing signs of explosive growth yet again. Thinking about turning on the green night light again to show night time movement with the day. Thoughts?? Day 30- these girls are some PIGS! I JUST changed RES yesterday, and they've already eaten 1/3rd of its concentration. From 980 down to 601 in 24hrs! More if you think about my RES top offs every 12hrs (with 200ppm calmag'd water) adding back something versus just diluting further. I know I said I wouldn't stress the girls anymore, BUT... I supercropped the stretching tops on both, and gave em a mild defoliation. Hated to see more big leaves go.. but they're blocking light to everything I want to bush out NOT stretch up. The stretch is coming, but we still have time to train so may as well. *edit* went a lil nuts supercropping.. WG is taking it like a champ. GC I was a little rough with and crushed the 3 up top a lil too much. They're turned up towards the TSW2000, so they're not dead. RES change tonight with TDS drop as fast as it did. So there will be two updates today. woohoo! Day 31- both made a speedy recovery from the second round of abuse. will be doing another RES change tonight. same week 4 GHE light, i may bump up the formula some since the TDS dropped 360+ ppm in 24 hrs the other day. just dont want to overdue it since i just got done stressing them TF out AGAIN and they wont be eating as much while repairing (i think)... i will update later after RES change if i decide on running anything other than whats mentioned above. *TDS broke a thousand tonight.. lets see if we can keep em from dropping too much in the next 12hrs. Not fully repaired, but S.C. locations all over are already growing like nothing even happened. Wedding Glue's branches and main are thick asf! Wait till harvest and I bet they'll double or more. Will have to cut bigger openings in the silicon mat to keep from choking them off. **update** AM RES check, TDS dropped from 1077 to 679 in 12hrs! And I've read all over not to take autos over 6-700ppm... seems I feed em more, they eat ALLOT more. WTF??! Day 32- got out a net to see if it actually fits the tent, and to see how I felt about using it. So far, it fits but I'm not feeling it. So it came back out. Another round of defoliation tonight, and standard top off ph correct RES. am going to start every other day RES changes now to keep em happy. Day 33- plants drinking roughly 42fl Oz every 12hr. Defol AGAIN... got rid of some of the smaller stuff down low so all the plants energy can be focused to somewhere that matters. bumped up the TDS around noon today a bit and moving towards bloom nutes. Giving them a little more calmag to help with repairs from supercropping and all the defol 3 days in a row. Breakdown as follows. Water/calmag/h²o² - 2 gal (300ppm) Micro - 10.6mL Grow - 9.2mL Bloom - 12mL RES total after ph correction - 1174ppm Just did my every 12hr RES check and TDS has dropped from 1174 to 881. I measure before topping off with calmag'd water too. Helps in my data crunching and calculations. At this rate, they'll be down below 600 by morning. Wasn't planning on daily RES changes until they were much further along. Really want to see how big the root structure is in the RES, but don't want to rip roots wrapped on the ice probe. If I had one of those probe cameras I could poke it in my top off/fill port and take a peek. Day 34- really wish i had a spare down tube installed so i could utilize a top off RES. once this gets too low, it stops top feeding. not a big deal cause theres plenty of bubbles brewing in the RES to dwc it for a few hours. well... theres two bitches in the cup, theyre eating and drinking like pigs already. i am WELL over the "650-700" max ppm for an auto and climbing trying to keep both of them as happy as possible without hurting em. theyre only going to get bigger, thirstier, and hungrier as time passes. i see the 2k mark in the near future for sure. GC showing some purple on the tops of a few bigger petioles on GC and WG showing purple striping on the bottom of some of its branches. after watching vid from today, I DEF need to hit my fans with some tape like a lint roll. and yes, I play them music 🤣. WG is def a strong fucking pheno for sure!! thick branches, tight node spacing when given appropriate lighting. props to FastBuds for sure! changed RES tonight around 6pm to the GHE wk1 bloom MEDIUM feed. breakdown as follows: water - 2gal (300ppm) micro - 12.2mL grow - 10.6mL bloom - 13.6mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1237 ppm, 5.51 PH (letting them get the full sweep today) didn't I say I wasn't going to stress the girls anymore?? damnit! guess I'm a liar.. did a lil schwazzz on the girls tonight. left a few fans for shits and giggles. they're either going to stack up or herm out 🤣.. either way, we're in this together to the end. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my current grow. I apologize for rambling, but information collected will be good references for future auto grows for me.

🍓 Strawberry Gorilla RF3 Auto – Week 3 Update Week 3 is in the books and everything is going according to plan! 🌱 Strawberry Gorilla RF3 is showing strong, healthy growth with a compact structure and plenty of side branching developing. The canopy is filling out nicely, leaves are a healthy green, and the plant is responding well to the environment. No major issues so far, just steady growth and vigorous development. I’ve continued focusing on keeping the conditions stable, and the plant seems to be loving it. Looking forward to seeing the stretch begin soon and watching this lady really take off over the next couple of weeks. -A light feeding done at half strength done - some defoliation done - tlc Fast Buds genetics are showing their quality once again, and I’m excited to see what this beast can do in flower. 🍓🦍❄️

Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... Day 30 -- added some video's...... daylight vids... worth watchin for a laugh ...... first grow, so idk what i'm doin, ... any help/comments appreciated Day 32 -- added some pics of the late night trim and LST,... idk looks ok.... Day 34 -- added a video...
