Started flushing today, day 55, seeing what looks like trichomes going amber but my scope arrives tomorrow so I’ll finally get to see exactly what is going on. But I’m sure the scope is gonna show that the trichomes are screaming that they’re ready lol

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. They are starting to get more comfortable now so I turned the AutoPots on. They took right to this and watering became so much easier.

Week is looking good so far. Kaya's Coffee is a taller plant with less leaves than other strains. Where it lacks in leaves it adds in height. I have been removing damaged leaves from light burn slowly but surly. day 13 have leaves getting yellow on the ends... Adjusted my PH down from 6.0 to 5.5. I was keeping the PH high for the plants to take up more Cal-Mag. So I'm thinking the PH is keeping them from taking up Nitrogen causing the plant to take it from other leaves.

Defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves, I know it may be risky technique but since she has grown into the tent, space is tight and in order to maximise flower sites, I decided to remove some foliage to get better coverage. Flowering is taking off and have decided to increase the dosage of the nutrients to see if she can handle the feeding, she has grown quickly in the last couple of days and want to see if I can push her to the maximum. Healthy and happy plants, no more issues with spidermites (Thank goodness!), no more needing to treat a flowering plant (if I had to, I would drench the plant in a mixture of H202, liquid dishwashing detergent and water to ensure that buds are not covered with nasty chemicals). Clones have been taken and in this pic, can be seen that it has rooted, clones were taken off during defoliation session during 2nd week of flower.

This week was smooth. Setting up for greatness

I feel like the overall cycle length of this is a lot longer than stated. They have been growing for nearly 15 weeks. I believe they could have done with an extra week but we needed the space to add other clones that were ready.

Hi guys so coming into to the final stretch now start of week number 8 the black dog has been on flush for 3 days it will be cropped in two days. Other plants that are on flush are 2 of the queens one purple one not. the large plants ie super crit and the super crit silver haze are both on flush since yesterday so they have the 9th week to go yet first harvest will be the black dog :)

Day 36 1/13/25 I think she is taking to the location okay so far and after the first cut I did I’m not sure what I’m doing I’m just doing my own little mainline thing experimenting I guess I’m using APSU super soil and a little bit of build of soil 3.0 left from last grow and it’s a 7 gal pot als 1/14 day 37 Did second and final topping going allow about two weeks to bounce back and allow more growth and LST then flower

4.21.25 3rd week of veg started today and the tie down method is starting to payoff! Hoping to get another week or 2 of veg get some more green growth we will see. Thanks for checking out grow have good week!

Well day 34 of flower today week 6. Let me start by saying that this week hasn't been too good for my white widow, all sort of issues, first she started to burn with the nutes, that was corrected fast, but then I had a power outbreak on my air pump and water quality went to hell follow by that Ph sky rocket and was very hard to keep steady. All that is now under control bit she suffered a lot this week and I'm afraid my yield is going to be affected by this terrible week. 😕

This is week three miss marked the first week

Day 134 [19.01] This weed is smelling like too much 🤔 my garden is surrounded by the smell of it 😱 The buds are hard like rocks and frosty like you want to 💎 Day 138 [23.01] She is on the list of the plants that have been infested by gnats but she is solo the most resistant. The last feeding with extra PK seems to have been too strong and the plant started to burn from nutrients excess or ph fluctuation so I've flushed heavily before the harvest. Harvest F+61

Except for them getting a bit elongated this week went quite well. They have already grown multiple pairs of leaves and despite being so thin feel relatively robust. For watering I've just used rain water and I also added some of those reflective blankets to the walls (which are black otherwise), they're not perfect but better than nothing.

I’m almost over the finish line with my first grow. From now, she’s on plain water ph 6.5. I’m paying closer attention to the trichomes, she’s very frosty but no sight of any ambers yet. The smell of the fullgas has changed to a lovely sweet candy . So Looking forward to smoking this guys.

She had 2 be topped in her second week of rooting do 2 the top frying from to much light in young clone stage. Since the topping this lady has come 2 life!! She has been defoliated 4 times! Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19 and 5/1. She received a all purpose/bloom feed of Gaia green on 5/2. She was also flipped to 12/12 light cycle on 5/2. She received a heavy defoliation on 5/29.
