👉The plant is looking vibrant and seems to continue to flourish, albeit seemingly taking its sweet time. Seems like its in slow motion compared to its veg cycle. To see changes you have to look close or compare pix from a couple days apart. The flowers are getting more aromatic, and has the typical wonderfully sweet lemony stank think going on. Super frostiness as can be seen in the pix. The trichomes are totally illuminated by the lights used by my camera (flash and an LED worklight). May rival the gorilla glue for frosty overload. No new nutrient issues have shown up. The burned tips remain and I hope my good fortune continues. It developed a lot of smaller branches and will have lots of pop-corn buds. Shouldn’t be too much of a big deal and will add to the hash production in the end. 👉My time has been slightly curtailed due to work demands and I hadn’t been able to mule any water home until today. In the absence of the 98% pure water I get from a medical facility, Ive been using tap water run thru a 1cf carbon tank. The tank dechlorinates the water, I use it for my outdoor patio garden of herbs, peppers and single tomato plant. The pure water was 4micro siemens conductivity, the carbon tank water is 45micro siemens (tap is 245). The carbon tank water is far less reactive. This is evident when adjusting the pH. A batch made with the RO water needs just a few drops of pH down to reach desired pH. A batch made with the Carbon tank water takes a couple droppers full. Ive also noticed that the plant may not be able to absorb as much of the nutrients with the carbon tank water. This may be pure anecdotal stoner’s observation, but the EC of the run off has been almost impossible to get down to matching inflow. Its staying 20+ and shoots right up to 30+ each day. I started just giving double volume feed water and no low EC solution. Partly because I broke one of the jugs which I used for mixed solution batches. The high EC run-off may also be a result of the dried nutrients on the side of the pot being washed away more due to the higher volume of inflow. So I may be chasing my tail on this by giving full strength nutrients at double the volume with double run-off. Good thing is that you cant over water in coco unless you try really, really hard. 2 fertigations in one day isn’t even close. The plant is drinking more each day as measurement of the run-off compared to inflow shows the saturation volume. I fertigate in two steps when doing high volume, divide total volume in half and feed half and then measure the runoff. I then feed the second half and again measure the run-off. The difference between the inflow and run-off is the amount taken in by plant and lost to evaporation. I split the total in half to get a more accurate measurement of saturation level and plant intake/evaporation level. I then use that information to help predict how much solution should be given at the next fertigation event. This coming week I will be switching to the late bloom solution mix recipe for the GHE drain to waste chart. I mix it to the upper level strength for desired EC. The difference is slight. It removes rapid start from the mix, and reduces others slightly, except for bloom and micro. I should be able to return to the RO water for the rest of the grow. 👉I haven’t taken an actual measure of the height this week, but at tonight’s fertigation I measured the tips of the center colas were 15” from the light, so I will raise them in the morning back to 18”. The plant could probably take being fairly close to the lights, but I don’t think its nessessary to risk light stress if I don’t have to. There is still 6 more inches of verticle room to raise the lights. If the 99 decides to just keep going slow and steady, packing on bud-age, I can also spread the lights outward and angle the lights to give the two top colas more space.

19.08.2024 officially D140... the additionnal week, have been benefict to this fat lady. as i can see some ambering trichrome on the remaining cola. so far so good she get is second harvest. the 3rd and final harvest should be in 1 or two week, as i will need space in the tent for the camperberry clone, and will give the time to the leftover small and unripped nugget to finish their job. the 1st harvest is dried a d have been trim for total weight of 121.5g. it already smell more fuity that its little sister, it have been put in a growbag for a nice curring. the 2nd harvest give 1454.6 g of wet sticky bud expecting 180g of dried flower as they are more leaffy and have more stem comparing to the 1st harvest. the 3/4 pound is still in sight.

This lady has ended up with a very big size, she's such a nice bush full of sweet stinky colas, tje nuggets are very hard and the resin production is top, very terpy, the aroma is starting to become more and more like cherry 🍒 but with some floral notes. Definitely would love to run her again for sure! 🔝 Very stable strain. All of my 5 black cherry punch have the exact same aroma. 💎💯 She's in a super living soil full of beneficial bacteria and 100% organic nutrients. I'm using Silicium flash by biotabs which contains a lot of beneficial fungus and bug shit. And FLO which is the super food full of aminoacids, a lot of diferent strains of endomycorryzhae and mycorrizae. It's like 100% natural steroids for organic plants, the aroma are so pure and clean. GUYS TRY TO ALWAYS GO THE ORGANIC WAY! YOU'LL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE 💚🤞💎🌱 pd she's algo got kalong powder and seaweed powder by guanokalong.

Hey now, was a pretty good week for the Sour D, I didn't really make any changes as far as the nutes, still at EC of 1.6, with water from my dehumidifier, then cal mag, then maxi bloom powder, then liquid kool bloom. Only real issue I had this week was on day 58 I noticed her leaning a little bit, and I went to move her pot, and she almost toppled over. It really scared the crap out of me, so that is why you now see all the wire tires wrapped around her base. Definitely something I will be more mindful of in the future. Still dealing with high temps and humidity, but my dehumidifier has been a real Beast. I will also add that when I open that tent, the smell of Diesel Fuel, and Lemons smack me in the face like a 2x4. I have never smelled anything that pungent before. I am amazed at how well my Terra bloom carbon filter is doing, although I am sure it helps I have an 8x24" inch filter and Infinity T8 exhaust running on the lowest possible setting in my tiny little tent. Really hoping for some thick and sticky flowers! Thanks for checking me out and and Blaze On....

OMG it's so great to be talking to you about my fast buds tropicana cookies auto, especially since she's doing amazingly well in her 3rd week of flowering! I mean, have you seen her? She's not your average bud type - she's absolutely loaded with trichomes that sparkle like diamonds. I swear, I've never seen anything quite like it. Anyway, towards the end of the week, I noticed that my plant was asking for a bit of defoliation. Now, I know some people might be hesitant to cut away any leaves from their precious plants, but trust me - it's important. By removing some of the excess leaves, you allow for better airflow and light penetration to the lower parts of the plant, which ultimately leads to bigger and better yields. Plus, it can help prevent mold and mildew from forming in the more humid parts of your grow space. Now, I have to give a shoutout to my sponsor, Aptus Holland. Their products have been an absolute game-changer for me when it comes to getting the most out of my grow. In particular, their nutritional regimen has been crucial for keeping my plant healthy and happy throughout all stages of growth. Believe me when I say, a good nutritional plan is key for a successful grow - you can't just rely on good genetics alone. Overall, I'm really excited to see how my fast buds tropicana cookies auto continues to develop in the coming weeks. I'm confident that with the right care and attention, she's going to produce some seriously impressive buds that I'll be proud to show off. As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - Fast Buds Tropicana Cookies Auto Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

Reaching up to 110cm, this strain grows fairly tall with medium-sized branching, showing its mixed heritage. Definitely the right choice for those with a high tolerance looking to get their hands on the strongest autoflowers out there. Thanks to the 27% THC, you can expect an extremely powerful and long-lasting high that’ll boost your mood and give you that extra push you need to start your days on the right foot. This variety offers the whole range of citrusy and woody flavors with a strong candy-sweet background that will keep you coming back for more and more. Bud description Tropicana Cookies Auto produces gorgeous dark purple flowers, so expect really dark buds with gorgeous hues of pink, purple and blue, and thick dark-orange hairs that get completely covered in resin by harvest time, giving them an almost shiny-white appearance. This variety develops a typical Indica-like structure and very few sugar leaves that will make your trimming sessions a breeze. But make sure to store your trimmings as the gorgeous flowers reek of a mouth-watering blend of lemon peels, orange juice, and sandalwood that gives it almost a citrus candy-like flavor that makes for the most aromatic hash and extractions.Smoke report Thanks to the 27% THC, Tropicana Cookies Auto’s effect starts with an energizing head rush that gets your mind up and running while leaving you in a nice calm state. As the Indica-dominant side kicks in, the powerful cerebral effect gradually moves downwards and hits your whole body with a deep relaxation that leaves you with a joyful stoney sensation that alleviates chronic pain while leaving you in an overall happy and positive state of mind. It’s the perfect daytime and nighttime strain as it can boost your mood and enhance a night out with friends but can also quiet your mind as you get ready for a good night of sleep. No matter the scenario, expect a powerful high that lasts for hours on end.Plant appearance Tropicana Cookies Auto reaches up to 110cm and develops a tall main cola with shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. You can expect a stocky yet tall main cola with medium-sized side branches and thin fan leaves that fade into a yellowish hue with a beautiful dark purple tint. Thanks to the excellent selection, this variety develops a short internodal spacing that makes the medium-sized flowers look like they’re growing stacked on top of each other. It’s the ideal choice for growers who want to get big yields without having to deal with huge plants, as this monster yielder can produce up to 150g per plant while growing relatively short. Grow tips This variety grows super dense buds so make sure to space out the branches by tying them down, this way you improve airflow which helps prevent mold and other pests. Tropicana Cookies auto reek of a delicious sweet and sour smell so make sure to flush thoroughly to enhance the aromas even more. This terpene heavyweight finishes with lots of resinous sugar leaves that make for fantastic hash and extractions so remember to have your trim bucket ready!Flavor Tropicana Cookies Auto boasts remarkably sweet flavors that resemble a blend of lemon peels and fresh orange juice, with subtle floral undertones that make it the perfect choice for extractors looking for unique terpene profiles. Expect an overall citrusy zest that’ll coat your whole mouth and leave a delicious tropical candy-like flavor aftertaste. The sweet and sour flavors get balanced out with a herbal background that gets stronger as you exhale and gradually opens up, bringing out the whole range of woody, floral, and spicy flavors, making it the perfect choice for the most flavorful extracts

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. And now, the adventure continues! I've started on Epic Buzz by Anesia Seeds. The diary for this new chapter is up and running, and the seedlings have already sprouted, marking the beginning of another exciting phase. (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/185718-grow-journal-by-salokin) I can't wait to share more updates with you all. Here's to the continued growth and learning in our gardening adventures!

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

The plants colors looked great and the trenchomes were at about 20-30% amber and the 70-80% milky. The smell is amazing and I can not wait to see how the end product ends up.

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.
