12/7 Week five and in full flower. Runoff was way high 1400-1700 ppm this accounts for the tiny white tips on new growth. Increased amount to 0.5 gal once a day but may have o go back to twice a day. Still on half/grow half/bloom until the stretch plays out still trying to hit 700ppm of feed without runoff exceeding upper limits so feed alone is running 600ppm to counter the hard water. Once I have a handle on the runoff will up nuets. After some thought and a bit of reading I decided to do this as a root drench and fertilized flush to remove all salts from the pot. 0.5 gal 5.7PH CT Grow AB / Kangaroots /Fish Sh!t with @50% runoff - 950ppm (unadjusted 750ppm adjusted) in / and 1020ppm out. DAY 66 Watering every 3 days.. 💧I always do 2L and stop when I see runoff. Now, I can smell fruit. 🍒 See the fat trichomes, this stinks, I can tell you. 😏 DAY 68 I checked trichomes, I actually didn't expect any plant to finish "in time", but this one has all cloudy trichomes! Huh! 😳 So I took a small bud to test smoke.. it's drying now. Smells like Coke, and like something sweet from my early childhood when I didn't have a memory. It's subliminal paradise. Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

Week 17

So flushed for a week now and harvested all but one plant! Personally think I timed harvest time on a few plants wrong as they seem quite dark! Also picking at fan leaves very late on certainly didn’t help on two of the plants but overall for my first grow quite pleasing but know a lot can be improved on for my next grow! Personally also added canna pk13/14 to late into flowering time Harvest 2 x sensi skunk fem 1 x auto gsc 1 x auto bcn Remaining sensi skunk plant is currently in darkness for 72 hours before being harvested!

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and not much happening. I didn’t even take her out of the tent, just left her in, tucked some leaves and got updated pics. Looks like she’s really starting to bud up nicely now. Day 65 - She’s definitely getting pretty cramped in the tent but not a whole lot I can do about it. Doing what I can to keep all the sites exposed and went and cut a couple lower limbs off that aren’t getting much light. Also gave her 2 gallons of pH’d water and cal-mag today. I’m giving her about 2 gallons every two days, she’s drinking a ton. Next watering, I’ll be giving her a dose of the technaflora nutes. Day 67 - The pot was dry already today so gave her a feeding of nutes today and following their schedule of feed, water, water feed so next watering will be plain pH’d water. Did a pretty heavy defoliation as well as removing a bunch of lower growth. This will probably be the only time I do this to her and will just removed dying or dead leaves from here on out, I’m just hoping I didn’t over do it but I supposed we’ll see how she does the next few days. Day 68 - All seems good and chugging along nicely after the heavy defoliation and somewhat lollipopping yesterday. Didn’t even take her out of the tent, just tucked a couple leaves that are trying to stand up and block the light. Day 69 - Right in cue, she was ready for water today so she got two gallons with cal-mag pH’d to 6.7. Looks like she’s finally stopped stretching at 27.2 inches tall and hopefully now she’ll start beefing up on the buds. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and she’s still got a ways to go and gonna be way past the 9 weeks they’re “supposed” to take but I always expect things to go longer but this will most likely be a 15-16 week harvest. Other than that, I didn’t do anything with her today but she’s definitely going to be needing more water tomorrow.

Pretty much half of the flowering cycle has been completed! 28 days today. She's very vigorous, thickening up and frosting A LOT. I've also done some more gentle LST to spread a few branches further because new shoots are coming everywhere. Beautiful to look at. It's been quite moist at night, the sun sometines only starts at 10 am because of fog. When I decide to grow we have the rainiest year in the past 13 years and also the coldest May since 2006, fuck...at least the RH drops to 30% when the sun's at max, it's also been quite cold, that'll probably avoid mold problems. She started to smell very gently this week. Started as a ripe guava sort of smell that has now developed to VERY sweety and fruity profile. Strong skittles smell when I press the flowers, which is awesome! I'm a big sugar fan, I did not expect this smell but I just loved it! Thank you for visiting and see you next week! Hello, things are going a lot better with these girls now, nice & healthy & growing well. Set them up in 15 ltr DWC pots upped the nutrients, a little lower than the manufacturers recommendations for week 4. They are around 10 cm tall & have 7 nodes, started LST training, simply bending over & tying down. Lower branches starting to grow up, noticed 1st pistils on pheno 2 yesterday, right on the last day of week 4, so far I've only seen 2 pistils on both branches on the same node. Would have liked them to be bigger before starting to flower, but hopefully they put on some good size during the Flowering stretch. GROW 😛 Plants have grown rapidly. GraduallIy I removed the side branches. They look very naked now. But experience has taught me that - especially with SOG - you can almost never overdo it, by removing sidebranches for up to 3 weeks of flowering (depending on the sativa/indica ratio). Usually these branches do not get enough light, so they do not produce many flowers. 😺 On DAY 12 : The smallest plant is 30 cm. The largest plant is 68 cm. 😊 ------------------------------------------ BLOOM 😍 First flowers appear. The plants already smell very nice ! 👍 ------------------------------------------ WATER + NUTRITION 😱 On day 8 I watered the plants by hand, for the last time: 5 liter water with 2 tablets of RQS Easy Bloom Booster. From day 9 I have connected the autopots to the water tank. Hopefully the biotabs tablets provide enough nutrition for the coming weeks. ------------------------------------------ AIR HUMIDITY 😨 To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have to refill the two 7.5 liter humidifiers daily. 👍 As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity for a stimulating VPD. 💪 The WATERING VOLUME PER PLANT PER 24H above, is in fact PER POT (4 Plants / pots) !!! 👌
