On the last day of week 10 I brought it down to 18 hours lights. Then half way through week 11 I brought it to 16 hours. My plan was to reduce light until next week to 12/12 so I could try and induce resin development. One plant is done, as you can see from the trichomes. The other will finish this week. I wasn’t finished flushing and would prefer another week, but I also don’t want couch lock bud.

Its own personality At Kannabia Seeds we have put all our effort into bringing out our own feminized Monkey Grease, a cross between Monkey Grease x White Widow, focusing above all on giving it its own personality in flavor and aroma (frankly unmistakable) and, of course, in Highly demanded characteristics, such as high resistance to diseases and pests, and adaptability to all types of growing conditions, making it close and easy to grow to the widest possible range of growers. The result is a really powerful and versatile indica-sativa marijuana seed, with a powerful relaxing effect, ideal for those moments when you want to disconnect from the madding crowd. Cultivation of Monkey Grease Which cultivation method would be most appropriate for this variety? Good question… and one that is easy to answer. Its versatility and adaptability make it a true all-rounder, with remarkably uniform results, whether you choose SOG, SCROG, hydroponics or guerrilla growing. Moreover, we invite you to experiment and play, varying the techniques from moment to moment, and to draw your own conclusions. We are convinced that in all cases, apart from minor variations, the results will always be optimal, giving remarkable yields and in a short time. Attention should be paid to its high bud production, which can be fat, dense and heavy, although its sturdy branches are able to bear heavy loads without major problems. If you are a fan of extractions, our Monkey Grease is also optimal, given its high production of caramelised resin. If it is already amazingly productive indoors, this variety excels on its own merits outdoors, where it can easily reach 200 cm in height, and can reach between 700 and 800 grams per plant. It is therefore an easy and grateful plant, which demands little from its gardeners, making do with simple basic care, and with little or no propensity to develop diseases or mildew, or to attract pests (despite its striking aroma!). Taste and effect of Monkey Grease Our Monkey Grease stands out first and foremost because of its powerful, strong smell, which is hard to camouflage. A penetrating aroma that unfolds, in a balanced way, on the palate in the form of a wide range of spicy and sweet flavours, reminiscent of wild honey, nougat and cinnamon, and distant notes of milk chocolate. A delicious treat to be savoured calmly, without haste, as a preamble to its pleasant effect: extremely relaxing and narcotic, powerful, ideal for meditation and moments of introspection and meditation. Don’t be in a hurry with Monkey Grease. It can be your perfect ally to treat those stress and anxiety problems, but for that you must let yourself go, surrender to its charms, especially if you are inexperienced. ________________________________________________________ Setup: 60x60x180 cm Zelsius Greenception GC4 128W 4 Cluster OSRAM + CREE LEDs (380, 455, 630, 660, 720, 760nm) 6400k (cold-white to cover the basic load during the growth) 2100k (warm-white to cover the basic load during the blossom) The module groups can be switched individual as follows: ⬀ Module I: growth 1x 32 watt ⬀ Module II: full spectrum: 2x32 watt ⬀ Module III: Bloom: 1x 32 watt ⬀ Module I is optimized for the growth phase. Start of week 5 . Flowering is really picking up. And the ladies seem happy. Fed with straight water today. All the girls have received a defoliation and lst adjustments. Watered with phed 6.2. On January 20th. Blondie is short and bushy so far only measures 11 inches tall. She has started to show signs of flowering but no real flowers yet. She's running behind alittle for sure. The Banana Purple Punch is measuring at 20 inches tall by 22 inches wide. Fast Bud Mixed Auto Pat Benatar is 15 1/2 inches and 18 inches wide. Mixed Auto Blondie is 11 inches tall and 13 inches . End of week 5. Watered the girls with a gallon each of 6.5 ph water. Blondie is a short girl and she's a little behind in her flowering.

This will be the second time I start this strain, it’s gone great so far so let’s do it again! Started off with 24 hours in a glass of water then into a paper towel, then once the taproot was about half an inch I transferred her into a coco pellet. Once she’s broken the soil it’ll be into the tent. Day 3 Looks like it’s time to up pot her and get her under the light.

Casey's Rollex OG has made good progress over the week. She had a solution hangers a few days ago. I added extra cal mag. I believe she has been having calcium issue. It looks like it stopped. Time will tell. She got some lst today, and the center of her defoliated. Everything else has been going great. πŸš‚ Cash Express – Pheno A Week 7 | Small Plant, Big Personality Welcome back to another week of the 8Γ—8 Adventure! πŸ’šπŸŒ± If this is your first visit to the diary, welcome! This project follows twelve different cultivars growing together under exactly the same conditions. Every plant shares the same environment, lighting, irrigation system and nutrient solution, allowing genetics to be the real variable. Watching each phenotype develop its own personality under identical conditions continues to be one of the most fascinating parts of this journey. Cash Express Pheno A continues growing under a strict 12/12 light schedule from seed beneath the Future of Grow Black Series LED, and once again she's proving that size has very little to do with beauty. She may be one of the smaller plants in the tent... But she's quickly becoming one of my favourites to photograph. ──────────────────────────── 🌸 Flower Development Flowering continues progressing beautifully this week. The fresh white pistils are multiplying rapidly and every flowering site is beginning to stack with much more confidence. What started as tiny clusters only a short time ago are now clearly becoming proper bud sites. The stretch has slowed considerably compared to previous weeks, allowing the plant to focus more of her energy on flower production. She's no longer trying to become taller. She's focused on becoming prettier. Every day the structure becomes a little more defined, making it easier to imagine what she'll look like a few weeks from now. ──────────────────────────── 🌿 Small... But Absolutely Beautiful Cash Express Pheno A belongs to the smaller group of plants inside the tent. She's compact, elegant and has never tried to compete with the taller girls surrounding her. Instead, she's building an incredibly balanced structure with evenly spaced flowering sites and a canopy that's a pleasure to observe. Sometimes we naturally associate bigger plants with bigger expectations. This little lady reminds us that's not always the case. Her architecture is outstanding. Every branch seems perfectly positioned, every flower receives excellent exposure, and the entire plant has developed into a very symmetrical little bush. I'm genuinely excited to see where she goes from here. ──────────────────────────── πŸ’‘ A Little Help From Below One advantage of her compact stature is the way she benefits from the under-canopy lighting. Being slightly further away from the main overhead fixtures than some of the taller plants, the LumiFlora under-canopy lights help illuminate the lower flowering sites, ensuring those developing buds continue receiving quality light from beneath the canopy as well. It's one of the advantages of combining overhead lighting with under-canopy illumination. Instead of allowing the lower flowers to live in permanent shade, they receive additional energy exactly where it's needed. It will be very interesting to see how much this contributes to flower development as the weeks progress. ──────────────────────────── 🌑️ Environment The flowering room continues running under stable conditions, allowing every cultivar to focus entirely on flower production. 🌑️ Day temperature: 29Β°C πŸŒ™ Night temperature: 25Β°C πŸ’§ Relative humidity: 60% πŸ₯₯ Root zone temperature: 21Β°C πŸ’¦ Nutrient solution temperature: 22Β°C βš—οΈ pH: 5.8 ⚑ EC: 1.95 mS/cm πŸ’¨ COβ‚‚: 639 ppm πŸ’‘ Light schedule: 12/12 Consistency continues being one of the biggest reasons the entire room is developing so evenly despite the huge genetic diversity. ──────────────────────────── 🌱 Feeding The AutoPot system continues supplying fresh nutrient solution whenever the plants request it, keeping the root zone stable and eliminating the need for scheduled watering. This week's reservoir consisted of: Plagron Terra Bloom – 2 ml/L Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L pH adjusted to 5.8 The plant continues responding beautifully to this feeding programme, maintaining healthy foliage while steadily increasing flower production across the entire canopy. ──────────────────────────── πŸ“Έ Behind the Lens This week's photographs really capture why I enjoy this phenotype so much. The close-up images highlight beautiful clusters of fresh white pistils, while the wider shots reveal a plant that's incredibly balanced from top to bottom. She's not flashy. She's simply elegant. One of my favourite photographs this week shows just how evenly every branch has developed, creating a canopy that almost seems designed rather than grown. Sometimes the smallest plants become the most photogenic ones. And I think Cash Express Pheno A is quietly proving exactly that. ──────────────────────────── πŸ” Looking Ahead The coming weeks should become increasingly exciting. Now that the stretch is slowing down, I expect the flowers to begin stacking much more aggressively while resin production gradually starts increasing. I'm especially curious to see how this compact structure responds as the buds gain weight. Will she produce short, chunky flowers? Or will she surprise us with longer spears than her structure currently suggests? Only time will answer that question. For now, I'll continue giving her exactly what she needs and simply enjoy watching her story unfold one week at a time. ──────────────────────────── πŸ’š Thank You Thank you so much to everyone following this 8Γ—8 Adventure. Every week these diaries remind me that every plant deserves to tell its own story, regardless of whether it's the biggest, the tallest or the fastest in the room. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a place where growers from around the world can learn from one another and share their passion. Thank you to Zamnesia for these wonderful Cash Express genetics that continue to reveal new surprises every week. Thank you to Plagron for providing the nutrition that supports every stage of this grow. Thank you to Future of Grow LED for delivering the powerful overhead lighting that drives this project from seed to harvest. A special thank you to LumiFlora for the excellent under-canopy lighting, helping ensure every flowering site has the opportunity to develop to its full potential. And of course, thank you to AutoPot for making irrigation effortless while allowing the plants themselves to decide exactly when they want to drink. Finally, thank you to everyone reading, commenting and following this adventure. Your support makes this project even more rewarding, and I hope these diaries continue helping and inspiring growers around the world. Growers Love, and I'll see you all next week as Cash Express Pheno A continues proving that sometimes the smallest plants have the biggest personalities. πŸ’šπŸš‚πŸŒ±

It's been a pretty good week. Carl 2 stretched out like a motherfucker, nearly a four inch stretch as of today. The accidental topping due to blunt trauma a while ago seems to have stopped the stunted growth and allowed it to really shoot upwards and outwards. The split on UKBS 2 is still necrotic, and the effects seem to be travelling down the stem. I have a fan on it for airflow and I'm hitting it twice daily with a vinegar solution to try and kill off what seems to be white mold in the stem. As of recently the spread has slowed down somewhat, so I'm feeling hopeful. Next feeding it'll get hit with another round of nature's candy and velokelp to try and build some strength back up and come out a real winner in 3 months or so. The tent has been flipped to 12/12, but the outdoor plants wont be flowering for another 3 months-ish minimum, so this diary's gonna get a little interesting in terms of week type. Carl 1 is incredibly stretchy inside the tent, almost 6 maybe 8 inches from when I flipped and Scrogged. Gave Carl 1 a fat haircut a couple days ago, she reacted quite well. Updates will come throughout the week. Happy growing and thanks for checking out the grow. By 5/11/2021 - I've acquired some peroxide to try and assist UKBS 2 with the mold/pathogen issue. The previous night's application seemed to work, and I applied again today. Hopefully she'll pull through. One of the main stems is drooping massively, I may lose it but hopefully not.

The SCROG is finally starting to do its job. Over the last week, the canopy has spread out nicely, and more tops are reaching into their own spaces across the net. Regular tucking has helped create a flatter, more even structure, allowing light to reach deeper into the plant. Growth has been steady since the move into the 12L Air-Pots, with healthy new shoots emerging across the canopy. The plants are becoming noticeably bushier, and the multiple tops created through topping and training are beginning to fill the available footprint. Some older leaves still show minor signs of previous nutrient stress, but the newest growth is looking healthy and vigorous. The focus remains on maintaining a stable environment while continuing to guide branches through the net and preparing for the next stage of growth. The canopy is far from full, but it's progressing exactly as planned. Each week brings a little more coverage, a little more structure, and a lot more potential. πŸ“Š Stats so far: πŸ’§ Watering: When necessary 🌑️ Temp: 26–28Β°C πŸ’¦ Humidity: 80% RH πŸ“ˆ VPD: ~1.02 kPa πŸ’‘ Light: ~500 PPFD
