Wow these girls are looking great! Nice big naturally shaped canopies that are just bursting with buds. Speaking of which the buds are just beginning to swell up and produce trichomes this week, so they are for sure 1-2 weeks behind the other strains in the tent. But with the size the buds are already we could be looking at some chinky ladies in a few weeks. Have noticed that some areas of the root on the tray of the front plant are showing a bit of green. Looks like maybe algae, or something of the sorts. Will start mixing in some hydroclean to the res, helps flush roots and clean lines. Could just be to exposure to air as well, not that humidity between 53-55%. Back plant doesn't show any discolouration on the roots as far as I can tell, but it's pretty hard to get all the way back they so not 100% sure. Girls still getting 650-700 umol/s for 20 hours a day. Ran out of B52 and and the temp enhancer, so am supplementing with some nutrients I got in a bulk buy. Using Nutes Nutrients Microbooster. Seems to have many of the same benefits of B52 and Bud Candy, so far plants seem happy with it.

Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water.

Okay, that was it, her growth period is over. My summary is a bit of a mixed bag. Sonnenerde: I liked how the plant grew in this living soil and am curious on the result after drying and curing. But so far, I'm happy with the experiment Blumat: I give up - I fell like this is not the watering system for me, despite me really liking the idea and the concept of it. To be fair, I need to check the drippers, if the membrane and moving parts are spotless, to rule out reasons beyond my wrongdoing, but I'm not too hopeful. I just don't think I'll use it again. the water hoses/pipes(?) make the whole plant too immobile, not even turning the pot is possible. I'm sure it's great for certain situations, but just not for me. Bio Tabs PK Booster+Orgatrex: This time I used a little more Orgatrex, not sure if I changed anything else, but it really made a huge difference, even bigger than in previous grows. The aroma intensified dramatically, the buds were covered in trichomes and bulked up really nicely - and all that was noticeable after a few days.

To be Completely honest , I’ve Heard a lot of great things about The Cali Connection, but this Strawberrry OG Is not really impressing me at all and as been a pain to gro w , very delicate to anything, Great cloning tho, at this point it has no Trichomes at which I think it’s upsetting for me but its my first grow so idk if they will come eventually if Most OGS ARE LIKE THAT I know know . Any help would kindly appreciated

I probably won't grow this strain again, just due to the growing difficulties, short lifespan, and low yield, although the bud is definitely quality. I learned a lot as this was my first grow, and the next I'm hoping for better yield quantities.

Jan 15th - soil tests tonight / photos tonight 17th - soil ph is a tad over; 7.2 -7.3 - dinner served at a pH of 6.2 - dinner tonight; 1.5L pH’d water ran through plant first, then fed 3L nutes/water posted above. This flow caused some Run-off, but not enough to properly measure EC value -near max on the tds, but it was the thickest dinner yet. (including molasses) follow-up tonight. 20th - Allowing the soil to dry an xtra day - brewing a compost tea for tomorrow’s dinner. (black willie as well) Then back on schedule - Running 2 Aerated-Teas, staggered between heavy nutrient meals, I hope it nourishes the soil enough that we see a flourish of activity next week… - first tea with bat guano… Resting the banana lol Jan 21, - last day of the week… finally the tent to themselves. This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

Started their 48 hour of darkness today, am going to chop Wed. I think they did a great job finishing up over the last week, super excited to see how they turned out. Keeping this week's update short and sweet, the next update will be much more detailed. Will post the final update after I finish drying and trimming.

Diese Woche gab es nach dem fluchen mit canna flush keine Nährstoffe mehr ….ich habe die Pflanzen nochmal mit 40 l gespült….der ec im drain wurde danach gemessen …. Danach immer noch 1,1-1,2…. 3 Tage gewartet und noch mal mit 40 l gespült…. Danach dann ec 0,7 so bleibt es nun…. Den ph habe ich beim letzten flushen auf 7 gesetzt da die wurzeln nichts mehr transportieren sollen…. Der Herbst muss schnell her 😁( 1 mal als erstes geflusht mit Canna flush mit 15 l pro Pflanze) Die tricome sagen das alles fertig ist. ***New Addition*** Day 82 - Big tank change out. Had a massive drop in pH while EC rose some again (Only been adding RO water the last few days to keep tank in check around EC1.2-1.3, had jumped to 1.6. PH Drop was from 5.9-6 to 4.9-5.0 from it being stable for 4-5 days). After epsom salting the leaves last week, still noticing some lower leaves "Praying" and some dead and drying ones hanging from the plant. Its getting to about the mid-way point of the plant now (again, all that's under the scrog but...) but getting too close for comfort!!! Have edited my formula slightly for this change out to: *2ml/L Bloom A & B (So 100ml of each in a 50L tank) *1ml/L Silicon *0.6g/L Epsom Salts *1ml/L 9/18 PK Warrior (This was a f**k up, should have been 0.5ml/L - hopefully doesn't impact or isn't the cause for Mg issues - causing a lockout) 2ml/L Sumo Active Boost 2ml/L Fulvic Acid 2ml/L Sensizym 2ml pH Down to bring the lot to pH 5.7-5.8 This brought me to about 1.6EC, pH6.4 (Expected value was 1.521 from Hydrobuddy Calc for the * ingredients - My water bases at 0.2EC so a close enough calc!!!) - Higher than I have been putting in but i think most of the EC rise is from the Sulfate in the Epsom Salts (The Sulfur alone is about 0.32EC). Also, with it coming late autumn and the tent in an outdoor cabin, got a temp controller to bring on a heater to stop the temp dropping below 16.5C...its now averaging out around 18.7 during the night so that's decent enough (Was potentially getting sub 15C - recent day temps have been 9-11C so could have been pretty chilly in there!!!). Also put my aquarium heater in the tank to bring the solution to around 19C as 1 of the plants has grew an absolute root mass into the tank itself - It is defying the Smart Pots and getting itself into there even after a pruning a few weeks back!!! So, tank change happened a few days early but what the hey...passed the time with a hot whiskey or 5!!! :P ******************************************** Day 78 - Really haven't done anything with the girls the last week. Just been topping up with pH adjusted water, bringing down the nute strength a bit as they're taking on water but not really taking on any nutes. General monitoring. Think I am going to have to get a heater out in the cabin as the night (IRL Day temps) are getting 15C and below so worried that could be impacting some nute uptake - Gave them an epsom foliar last night and then the bi-weekly Geisha foliar spray just before lights out this morning. I'm currently flushing with decanted water for 48 hours, using Bio-Down to lower my pH, which is still between 6.65 and 6.7. Even with just water, it's still producing flowers. My harvest is still scheduled for March 29th. Next, I've selected my next strains that I'll be planting. I'll start a separate journal for each strain, which will be 6 strains from 5 different seed banks.
