Cookies Gelato is about 9.50 ft tall. I've applied white plastic net all around the pergola to give them some shade in order to slow down the metabolism. These plants are giant and there is no more space to move around. Asparagus stalks are well formed so this is, hopefully, the last preflowering week. Cookies is hungry and some bottom fan leaves start to show chlorosis but the top/mid canopy is plenty of natural nitrogen. During these last weeks I've watered them with 4-5 gallons each, leaving the soil to dry for 2/3 days, they seem to love this scheme. Also, the fact of not having pluck away even a leaf made these plants big and extremely vigorous. Tomorrow I will create a roof with clear plastic rolls as the nighttime humidity begins to increase and some summer thunderstorms are on the horizon.

Day 22: Started on LST today. For the first time ever I removed 1or 2 of the big fan leaves before bending the plant over. These leaves would have become trapped under the plant so i would be removing them later anyway so I thought it would be easier to do so beforehand. I also removed the first pair of nodes after the cotyledon. To reduce the risk slowing down or stunting growth I done this bit of defoliation under a very dim light, half way through the 6 hour lights out night schedule when all the plants hormones would have been returned to the roots.. Day23: Continued with more LST pinning down branches. Day 24: Small bit more LST toady and also moved plant from the veg space with CFL’s to the main grow space in under the LED lights. There’s a good few pistils starting to show. Day 25: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1m G). Took around 3 litres. Day 27: Removed the biggest low down fan leaf. Day 28: Removed one more big fan leaf but in the process accidentally removed a branch also. Mr.Nelson was pretty pissed. But you know what they say “What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger”. Han suggested I don’t use that phrase with Mr.Nelson.

12/10 Week 11 Wow last week on Layla so bread and water hold the carbs for her now on. Doubt if Maggie will be finished but may be forced to move her on anyway, we will see. I would hate that Gotta decide soon on feeding her as they will need water tomorrow 12/11 Its decided Maggie will be allowed to finish off and I will find a way to keep em all happy. But when it goes into flowering stretch at least one needs to rotate into the flower tent so harvest Layla, one may remain in the small tent till Maggie goes. The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Well unfortunately mistakes were made. I didn't release the lst tie downs over time as she grew. So I end up finding the stress spilt the main stem in half right down middle so I used the ties down ties and tied it together and undid all lst tie downs. Day 40 from sprout: The watering helped the 30gal out after 1 day. 3/30 and 4/1 i topped each plant and continue to tuck leaves. Some defoliation on the lower fan leaves that were touching the medium a bit. I will defoliate a little more this week. Scrog will come out in another week or so. I am seeing some canoeing at the very top of each plant. Could be a pH thing or from heat but chances are its a pH thing. I'll keep an eye on it and lower the water pH i am giving it if it persists. Gave the 2L pot some water (a little top and mostly bottom water) on 4/1. Medium was looking very dry on top but wasnt showing signs of needing water so i didnt give it much.

Week 8 November 13 -another week and we have flipped to flower about 5 days ago no sign of pistils but the bud sites are starting to lighten up in color -got some nutrient water on some of the leaves last watering so that’s not good -also top watered to get the bloom nutrients to break down for the coming weeks -also rigged this card board cut out to keep the top soil dry so the amendments stay moist enough to break down as I bottom water all the established plants
