Changed Monday Big defoliation Friday

I put in some work yesterday and today. Chopped the clover, added some buildasoil craft blend and cased it with BaS compost and transplanted her from the 1g to the 20g. I also set up the Blumat irrigation system and the tensiometer. I’m excited to see how much better it waters than I do. Based on the tensiometer it seems I was greatly under watering. Trellis net going up in a few days.

Great first week getting everything dialed in. First time growing for me, spent a lot of time thinking about it and have an advanced background in Agronomy, but haven't applied it before now, all new :) Have an Infinity S6 fan with the 067 controller, pretty awesome, wish it was wifi and not just Bluetooth. Have a Govee wifi temp/hum sensor which helps keep track while away. Heating pad and dome have been invaluable. The SE7000 is working perfectly, doesn't put out that much heat at all, especially with the detachable driver and 8ft cable. Pretty sweet.

Some fan leaves turned yellow this week. I believe it is a deficiency as they have been watered with just 6 pH water between feeds and its unlikely to be efficiency. It looks like that it is a mag deficiency as appears in the picture. Biogrow which is biobizz's product with highest % of Mag wasn't used last 2 weeks and I think that might be what caused the deficiency. Overall Green Gelatos are getting dense and smell sweet herbal, 2 short Hulkberries flowering up good as well but the tall one which is the one stretched more takes her time. Hulkberries aroma is a bit gassy but weaker than gelatos at the moment.

2/8 Preflowers appeared on the GG and BC. The only one not on the Preflowers train is the GSC but she is 10 days behind the others. Branches on all plants are solid and sturdy, humidity has been an issue and I am working on it. 2/9 raised lights another inch and GSC now has Preflowers 2/10 TB and BC must of took their roids last night cause each grew 3.5 to 4" over night. More Preflowers and budding sites appearing on all plantd. Stretch is coming the stretch is coming. Raise lights 4" and lifted up GG 2 inches. All plants avg 40k on lux meter. Rotating plants everyday now. 2/13 everybody is exploding upwards. I was focusing a lot of time on my other grow and I am pretty sure I missed my LST window with these ladies. My 4x4 tent is filling up rapidly. Had to raise my lights up another 3 inches with distance ranging from 12 to 18" from all tops. Just going to take group shots until pistols start appearing. Probably going to switch over to HPS over the weekend

FBT 2307 did really well. She has aone. Ice big colas. I did have a ph issue with wrong nutrition base that damaged leaves in early flowering. Once a new solution was given it had stopped. She has a earthy flowery smell. Loaded with frost, and buds feel dense. She will hang for 24 hours then go into the cannatrol. pistols are beginning to turn amber. thrichome development increases each day. buds are starting to get bulky.

Start of week Height = 50cm She has reached a total height of 50cm so far and have grown almost 20 cm in a week, her flowers are starting to grow all over, she really enjoys being under the Qboard. 13/02-2024 - Day 43 - Watered 2.8L 15/02-2024 - Day 45 - She is really growing and has reached 55 cm height, her flowers are starting to gain size aswell. 17/02-2024 - Day 47 - Watered 2,1L, my baby has reached 57 cm and damned she has ALOT of buds im really excited about this cutie 😍 19/02-2024 - Day 49 - End of week I had considered trying out defoliation on her, as i think she has grown very bushy and might spend energy on branches that wont produce any good yeild. i reconsidered due to the advices i got from my question. i will continue without defoliation and keep gently bending fanleaves so they dont block light. She has been growing a lil less taller this week than the previous, but her buds are starting to look nice, and they are ALL OVER her 😍 the first trichs are appearing. Height = 61cm

Substantial growth in the roots. Should hit flower in the next week or two.

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. After this week end, we will cut the first Tropicanna XL plant:D Middle this week we changed the reservoir water for a fresh solution. This plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 540 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Even though it says 80 Gallon pot, it’s really 400, it just glitches out when I enter 400 and converts to say only 80. I know she looks bad! I know. She has only been managing a nutrient lockout with horribly low pH for far too long! The Hydrated Lime has indeed fixed the pH! Resulting in my next inbound set of problems. The original soil from the second 2.3L pot she was in was too strong! She needs to get her roots out into the larger pot, but that only gives her so much more space. Plus in that larger black plastic pot, the hot dry sun at 7,000 ft in elevation, really heats up those pots! When it’s 98F later, that sounds like torture! Maybe it was enough to balance out the more concentrated stuff towards the inside of the root mass. But I don’t want her roots to stop there! The time is now for her to go into the 400!!! The soil is 6.5 pH through and through. The peas are about to bloom! She has just avoided lockout and is picking up momentum! The 400 gives her a huge diameter for her roots! Something I sincerely hope her genetics will take advantage of. The soil is rich and alive! The temps in 400 will be so much better! Now I must prepare for my Arch Nemesis! The Butterfly!!!!!! Lol But seriously. They find my plants attractive, and decide to serve my plants as food for their offspring!!!! Not okay! Last year their success rate on my plants was a fat 0!! But they did some serious damage! I am prepared this year!! I will watch with vigilance for any butterflies around my plants specifically. I will spray my plants down regularly with diatomaceous earth! Not too much obviously! I know less is more when spraying that stuff! No mother wants to give her children food with razor blades in it! And as always there is always next year! I can’t let a phase of mice and men get the better of me. However!!… that’s what I said LAST YEAR!!!! Lol. This year IS next year! This was the last week of veg. I switched from organic nutrients to synthetic. For the pipes of the autopot. I will therefore also flush them for 2 weeks. In the first week of flowering there will be a dehumidifier in the tent to get around 50% humidity

7 weeks behind us. Goin' gooooooooood. No more feeding. Last 1.5 weeks will be water-only. I did just yesterday remove some top-layer canopy leaves to increase light penetration to lower budsites. They smell amazing and are beautiful - but I still hope for more resin production in the last week. Every day they get thicker and thicker, yum 😋😋😋

She's bouncing back slowly. Hope she recovers by the end of this week. But the good thing is that she's still alive. Gave her a real feeding at day 10. We'll see how she reacts to this feeding. Last day of week 2. She's doing well. She bounced back from week one. Hopefully week 3 will be better 😊

Week 9 Day 60 Hmm really dissapointed in my self this time. Blue Dream looking great ,Cinderella Jack and Purple Punch too. But then comes Trainwreck and Lemon Kix with Orange Sherbet. Buds didnt Fat up till now and they already starting to get those brown pistils. Lemon kix is Full with trichomes but looking like she gonna foxtail. I backed up the light a bit . Orange Sherbet looking better after just pH water and some Batguano - i love this stuff. Smell is also amazing, fruity with cream hints like my last one. Trainwreck looking overall good but also the buds didnt fatten up like it should be. I can just wait now 😑 Day 63 Orange Sherbet gonna be the First one to harvest Batguano did her really good.
