week 6 officially started, leaves are starting to get a little yellow on the right plant which is a lil worrying, trichomes on the left plant look insane so far, smell is pungent at this point, other than the yellow leaves the grow is growing really easy

To be quite honest considering I have planted early and haven’t provided any food or nutrients the smell is incredible and there starting to flower nicely. All in all happy with this experiment just the Spanish sun and water.

So, the stardawg is getting a little frosty but the tangie seems to be a bit behind. I have stopped all nutes now so we shall see how it goes!!

She is looking great. I topped all of her mains and then waited a few days then started to clean up the bigger fans to expose the lower sites to light and air.

Start of week 12: 9/6/25 (Day 35 of flowering)

This was the final week. Very satisfied with this harvest. She was just in the process to turn beautifully reddish/purple - but trichomes were exactly at the right point for harvesting so with a heavy heart she got the axe! Will update this one with actual dried flower pictures as well as a smoke/vape report in the coming days.

🌱 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We move forward with our Lemon Cherry Gelato, now entering what we call Week 5 of flower (Week 9 from seed, 12/12 from start). This week brings something special — not one, but two expressions of the same genetic, grown side by side, each telling a slightly different story. The first Lemon Cherry Gelato remains untouched. No defoliation. Just observation, light guidance, and studio time. She stands full, natural, and honestly… stunning. The second Lemon Cherry Gelato took a different path — what started as a light clean-up turned into something closer to an “army-style haircut.” A full defoliation to open space, improve airflow, and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. Two plants. Same genetics. Two approaches. Same goal — let them express. --- ### 🌿 How We Got Here This is a 12/12 from seed run, meaning these autoflower plants never experienced a traditional vegetative phase. From the start, they grew with the signal that time is limited — and that shows in their structure. Instead of wide, heavily branched vegetative growth, they focused early on vertical development and flower initiation. Now, in Week 5, we see the result: dense bud sites forming across a compact but highly productive structure. --- ### ✂️ Why We Defoliate (And Why We Didn’t — Yet) The room is getting full. Really full. The decision to defoliate the second plant came from necessity: • Improve airflow • Reduce humidity pockets • Increase light penetration • Redirect energy toward flower sites On the first plant, we chose patience. Sometimes doing nothing is also a decision. Next week, she may follow the same path — but for now, she shows us what happens when we simply let her be. --- ### 🌸 About Those White Hairs (Pistils) What you’re seeing across all those bud shots — those bright white hairs — are pistils. They are part of the female reproductive system of the plant. Their natural purpose is to catch pollen. But in our case, there is no pollination. So what happens? The plant continues producing more and more pistils, trying to fulfill that biological mission. At the same time, it increases resin production as a protective mechanism. This is exactly what we want. More pistils → more potential bud sites → more resin → better final expression. --- ### Feeding Strategy (Why This Mix Works) We keep the nutrition consistent and intentional: • Terra Bloom → Base nutrients for flowering • Green Sensation → PK booster + metabolic support • Power Buds → Encourages flower initiation and structure • Sugar Royal → Supports terpene and sugar production • Pure Zym → Enzyme activity, root zone health • CalMag → Stability under LED conditions Nothing excessive. Nothing random. Just a balanced system supporting what the plant is already trying to do. --- ### 🌡️ Environment & Plant Feedback Room conditions: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% • CO₂: ~1000 ppm On paper, some might question these numbers. Nothing serious — and most of it was naturally removed during defoliation on the second plant. A reminder: Not everything needs correction. 💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 10 Blue Waffle F1 – Pheno B 🌸 Let Her Do Her Thing Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter inside Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 If you've been following this project, you'll know that the last few weeks have been full of action. Long vegetative growth. Aggressive stretching. SCROG training. A second SCROG. Major defoliation. Moving the ventilation system. Raising the LEDs. Improving airflow. Adjusting the nutrition. We certainly haven't been standing around doing nothing. 😂 But this week? We're doing something very different. We're watching. And honestly... when I look at Blue Waffle F1 Pheno B right now, I don't think she needs me doing much else. 🌿 PHENO B – LET HER DO HER THING Pheno B is looking absolutely beautiful. She's sitting at approximately 145 cm and has developed a fantastic flowering structure after the work we carried out over the previous weeks. And this is where I think patience becomes one of the most important tools a grower has. We made the big interventions. We opened the canopy. We removed unnecessary congestion. We added the second SCROG. We created more vertical space. We improved the airflow. We gave the branches additional support. Now the plant needs time to respond. There is no point constantly changing things simply because we feel like we should be doing something. Sometimes... the best intervention is no intervention. 😂💙 So this week, we're letting Pheno B recover, settle into her new structure, and continue putting her energy into flowering. And she's doing a beautiful job of it. 🌸 THE RESULTS OF THE PREVIOUS WEEKS One of the most satisfying things about this week is being able to look back at the work we performed earlier and actually see the results. The heavy defoliation dramatically changed the structure of the plant. At the time, it was a big decision. The canopy had become extremely dense, and we needed to create more space between the branches and flowering sites. But the goal was never simply to remove leaves. The goal was to make the plant more manageable. Now we're seeing the benefit. The structure is much easier to read. The flowering sites are more visible. Air can move through the plant more freely. The branches have room to develop. And Pheno B doesn't look like she's missing the foliage we removed. She's simply continuing forward. That's exactly what we wanted. 🌿 This is one of those moments where you have to trust the work you did several weeks earlier. You can't rush this part. You just watch. 💡 INTRODUCING LUMIFLORA UNDER-CANOPY LIGHTING There is, however, one new addition to the ecosystem this week. The **LumiFlora 150W full-spectrum under-canopy light** is now officially part of the experiment. And with Pheno B's size, I think the timing makes perfect sense. The main LEDs are doing an excellent job illuminating the upper canopy. But these plants have developed so much vertical structure that the lower portions naturally receive considerably less direct light. That's simply the nature of a large, dense flowering plant. So instead of continuing to remove more foliage simply to chase light penetration, we're trying another approach. We're bringing some light to the lower canopy. The LumiFlora is a **150W full-spectrum fixture**, with additional red emphasis, and we're positioning it underneath the canopy as supplemental lighting. The main fixtures remain responsible for the primary light source. The LumiFlora is there to complement them. I'm particularly interested in watching how the lower flowering sites develop now that they're receiving additional supplemental light from underneath. This isn't about replacing the overhead lighting. It's about giving the lower part of this very large plant another opportunity to receive useful light. And now... we watch. 💡🌱🌸 🕸️ THE SECOND SCROG IS DOING ITS JOB The second SCROG is another part of the setup that I'm very happy with. Pheno B has a lot of vertical growth, and as the flowers continue to develop and gain weight, having that additional support becomes increasingly valuable. The first SCROG helped us organize the plant. The second SCROG is now helping support the flowering structure. It's a simple concept, but with plants this size, that additional layer of support makes a huge difference. We're no longer trying to force the plant into a particular shape. We're simply giving the branches somewhere to rest and something to support them as they develop. And that's exactly where I want to be at this stage. 🌬️ AIRFLOW – KEEPING THINGS MOVING The airflow system is also staying exactly where it is. We've got airflow working above and below the canopy, helping keep the entire structure moving. That's particularly important now that we've introduced supplemental lighting underneath the plants. The goal is to keep the lower canopy from becoming stagnant while maintaining good circulation throughout the upper flowering structure. Again... nothing dramatic. Nothing complicated. Just consistent airflow and a stable environment. And that's another reason why I'm not changing much this week. The system is working. So let it work. NUTRITION – NO NEED TO CHASE NUMBERS The feeding program remains consistent as well. The girls are continuing with the PLAGRON Hydro program: PLAGRON Hydro A — 2.2 ml/L PLAGRON Hydro B — 2.2 ml/L 🌱 PLAGRON Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L 🌸 PLAGRON Power Buds — 1 ml/L pH adjusted as required The plants are responding beautifully, so there is no reason to start changing things just for the sake of changing them. They're growing. They're flowering. They're drinking. They're healthy. So we continue. That's the approach now. Consistency. Observation. Adjustment only when the plants actually ask for it. 🌸 THIS WEEK IS ABOUT PATIENCE If I had to describe this week's update in one word, it would probably be: Patience. 😂💙 We've done so much over the previous weeks that it's tempting to keep doing more. But the plants don't necessarily need more intervention. They need time. Time to recover from the defoliation. Time to settle into the second SCROG. Time to continue flowering. Time to respond to the new lighting arrangement. And time to show us what all the previous work has accomplished. That's what we're doing now. We're watching. 🌿 PHENO B IS SHOWING US THE RESULTS Looking at Pheno B today, I can see the results of the entire process. The long vegetative period gave her the structure. The first SCROG organized the growth. The flowering stretch tested the limits of the room. The defoliation opened everything up. The second SCROG gave the branches support. The ventilation changes created more vertical space. The additional fan improved circulation. And now the LumiFlora is providing supplemental light underneath the canopy. It's almost like we're finally reaching the point where all those individual decisions are becoming one complete system. And Pheno B is right in the middle of it. 🌸 She's not asking for another big intervention. She's asking for time. Pheno B is sharing the exact same environment as her sisters. Same room. Same lighting. Same irrigation. Same nutrition. Same environmental targets. Same cultivation philosophy. And yet... she is still Pheno B. She has her own structure. Her own rhythm. Her own way of filling the space. That's exactly why we're documenting these plants individually. We don't just want to know how Blue Waffle F1 performs. We want to see how each individual phenotype expresses herself under the same conditions. And Pheno B is giving us a very interesting chapter. 🌸 FROM GROWING TO FINISHING We're now moving further away from the training phase and deeper into the finishing phase. The structure has been established. The canopy has been managed. The support system is in place. The environment is stable. The nutrition is consistent. The airflow is moving. And now the flowers get to become the main story. That's why I'm deliberately resisting the temptation to keep changing things. We've already done the work. Now it's time to see what the plant does with it. 💡 The LumiFlora gives us one new variable to observe. Everything else? We're keeping steady. 2/18 Day 50: All i got to say is 👏 😮. Just look at that beauty man. Honestly she has grown perfect i mean her color is Beautiful leaves and everything just coming in 👌. I like this strain so much I went ahead and ordered more Ethos and got their White Wedding strain coming in cant wait for that. The feedings this thing has taken is on point and this is my first grow in the Air Pot and it has made me only want to use them.( Bought 3 Gallon size ones for next run with autoflowers) Well stay tuned guys will be updating again her soon. These girls are becoming very vigorous in their growth cycle I defoliated last week and the lady's bounced back so quick in under a week. Everything is looking extremely healthy and I can't say enough about this new light of mine definitely glad for this investment.Mars hydro fc 4800 har been everything I expected plus some. The plants are thriving and seem to love this lotus nutrients. Will be taking clones next week. Very happy with ethos genetics, so much so I went out and bought 4 more strains from them planet of the grapes, 10th planet, booberry muffin, and banana hammock just started a run on all but 10th planet follow my other diary for the next weeks to come for new grow. As you can see the front right plant of mine is a little behind but hopefully will se her catch up a little this week.

Otra semana más Creo esta semana hoy día 27 Anunciando así el próximo día 28 inicio de esta quinta semana de floración del calendario de mis niñas,semana en la que comienzo subiendo la cantidad de comida y con ello de agua para mis niñas. En los últimos riegos de la cuarta semana fui subiendo hasta alcanzar los 1700. Las plantas mayoritariamente lo aceptaron,así que con ello subiré esta semana hasta alcanzar los 2000. No defoliaré ninguna planta Hoy ajuste la luminaria a una altura de 30cm con respecto a los 45 de la anterior semana. Esta semana pegarán un buen apretón con la subida de PK,y la ayuda de los azúcares. Seguimos con muchas lluvias y una humedad muy alta que dentro del armario se combate entre ventiladores extractor y desumificadores pasivos de sales de silicio. Que me mantienen un 35% menos de la que tengo en el exterior llegando muchos días a los 45/50% de humedad. Tengo que añadir que vivo a un kilómetro de la playa. Día 28 Di un pequeño fumigado, de agua con ajo y jabón potásico en la entrada al cuarto de cultivo. Como preventivo ante cualquier insecto que quiera acercarse atraído por el aroma. Hoy e podido ver que el último riego de 1700EC,no causó ningúna sobre fertilización apreciable en el cultivo casi nula,viendo esto en el siguiente riego subiremos a 1900Ec. Día 29 Primera impresión al abrir el armario es que había una humedad alta dentro del almario. Un 72% que una vez encendí el pequeño desumificador de 8l de casa,a mejorado a 53% Hoy compré la gama de completa de aptus. Iré añadiendo alguno de estos componentes de la fase de floración,para ver qué tal se combinan con la gama de plagron. Hoy le metí un riego de 55litros,una Ec de 1900 Sin carga de pk,desorbitada. Este riego me centro en los azúcares junto con algunos aditivos como silicio,aminoácidos,azúcares,encinas,sulfatos y manteniendo el nitrógeno en pequeña parte el potasio y el fósforo,calcio y magnesio que nunca falte en cada riego!,las lámparas están bajas y a toda potencia. Quiero en estos días conseguir mejorar con grandes empujones . Saludos compañeros!

I got my Optic 1 xl 100w COB LED in the mail just a few days ago and I’m super impressed with this light. The intensity honestly rivals a 250or400w HID light. The light was not at all super expensive. Only $203 after shipping, and it’s well worth it. ( I’m not at all trying to sell this product, I just haven’t see very many journals or reviews on them. Hopefully this journal will help give my view on this light) This is the start of week 1 in bud. I flipped the lights to 12/12 6days ago. And I’ve definitely noticed a stretch from each of these ladies. I think I’ve forgot to mention it but I’ve been using the TNB natural CO2 enhancer. It seems to be doing a great job. I feel like these ladies are definitely growing faster than the plants from my last round that didn’t have any CO2 enhancement. As you guys can see from the pictures and video I’ve installed a trellis net and started spreading these plants out. Over in my veg then the Hyer up plant that I’ve been waiting on to grow up a bit before I throw her into bud ended up being a male. So that means the only plant from this round I haven’t thrown into bud yet is my ATF which has also been in the veg tent with the Hyer Up and the clones. She’s only about 1 &1/2 foot tall from her soil. So I’m gonna give her an extra 2maybe 3 weeks before I get clones from her and put her in the bud room with the other ladies. In the video you can see a kinda gap or hole in the trellis in the back left corner. That’s where I plan to put the ATF when it’s time. Other than that everything is moving along great. I did another top feeding of dry amendments for the ladies I just put in bud. I’ll put those pictures in there as well. Thanks for checking out the garden. Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). It was poured this week 1 time with 0.2 l because the roots are from clones should only spread in the substrate. (For nutrients see table above) The fact that the lady gets a very long time in the veggie phase I started topping for the first time today after taking the pictures. in the coming weeks LST and will certainly be used topping a few times. Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. 4/1/25 Welcome to another week and Thank you to @Zamnesia and @Plagron for the genetics and the chance to participate in the contest. These are beautifully tall plants. I have had to spray with lost coast plant therapy and some Safer brand insecticidal soap because of creepy crawlies such as mites of some sort. 4/7/25 i shoved everysingle plant into my main tent. it has a humidifier and controls and all the goodies. the plants that have been struggling were in a separate tent without a humidifier or even an exhaust fan. and i think that may have had something to do with the issues. im really hoping that it isnt something that can spread to other plants because ive shoved 5 - 5 gallon pots in 2.7x2.7 grow tent. but hoping the environment is more friendly for them during the last half of The pistils have changed colors because of the spray but everything else is looking nicely. Super tall and super thin leaved plants but the buds are very tight and i imagine will be fairly dense. some of the plants have decent cola stacking of maybe 6+ nodes Today i top dress with 3tsp of Bloom, 1Tsp of Microbe Charge and 1Tsp of Bloom Booster. 4/6/25 R3 is producing some giant buds. The lower buds are twice as big as some of runtz plants. They all smell super fruity
