🌱 LSD — Week 4 Veg Report (Mixed Light Histories) Quick recap for anyone joining us here at Week 4 In this run, not all plants followed the exact same light timeline early on — and that’s why we’re now seeing two distinct expressions inside the same grow, under the same current conditions. This is intentional, educational, and incredibly valuable to observe. ⸻ 🌸 The Early-18h Plant — Signs of Flower Initiation One of the plants spent a few weeks under 18 hours of light before joining the rest. Now, at Week 4, she’s clearly showing early flowering signals: • First pistils appearing • A subtle but visible shift in posture and energy • That unmistakable “I’m ready to bloom” attitude She looks beautiful — relaxed, confident, and eager to express herself. This is not stress. This is timing. What’s happening here? The earlier extended vegetative light allowed her to mature physiologically faster. Once environmental cues aligned, she was simply ready. She wants to be free. She wants to flourish. And she absolutely will. ⸻ 🌿 The Others — Classic Veg Growth, Right on Track The rest of the plants are behaving exactly as expected for Week 4 veg: • Up to 6 nodes • Clear branching initiation • Very uniform structure across individuals • No visible flowering signs yet They are lush. Deep, healthy greens. Leaf structure is expressive and full of character — a strong genetic signature showing itself clearly now. You can already tell: this is good genetics, handled with respect. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Nutrition (Unchanged, Dialed-In) Everything remains consistent across all plants: • Nutrition: unchanged, same recipe for all • Watering: same rhythm and inputs • Room temperature & environment: stable • Temperature: ~25.7 °C • Relative Humidity: ~60% • CO₂: ~666 ppm • PPFD: increased slightly this week • Now sitting around 600–700 PPFD, depending on plant size and proximity to the light • Roughly +100 PPFD compared to last week, adjusted naturally as the canopy rises This is a key point worth repeating: 👉 Different expressions are coming from timing, not from different treatment. ⸻ 🧠 Why This Matters (and Why It’s Beautiful) This week is a perfect live lesson in: • How light history influences developmental timing • Why plants in the same room can behave differently — without anything being wrong • How consistency allows genetics to speak clearly Nothing is forced here. I have checked the plants and one plant is now showing about 10% amber trichomes on old growth. New growth clear. Starting to see some nice colour changes across the canopy. Have fed them a weaker feed to start the week but included a microbe tea.

G'Day mates, its that time of the week again-Our Update from Down Under. Well the girls have likely entered pre flower or Pre pre flower if thats a thing, if its not it is now k. Last dose of grow boost given with a mushroom compost tea and next week will switch to a half dose of grow nutes and a half dose of bloom nutes given together. But for now just LOOK at the size of the hashys fan leaves-Seriously people can you tell me if thats normal for a plant that size to have leaves almost as big as the plant itself? Lucky I put her in super late (December she went into the ground from her lil pot) How big would this super cash cropper get if I put her in the ground in October like I wanted to? YIKES!! No wonder they say she can throw 3Lbs if you know what your doing. And had to tie down the Caramelo as she was going to shade herself to ruin, notice most of tie downs are just heavy bolts tied to the wires-not even in the ground, and if she can manage to LIFT these 2 OZ bolts off the ground as I have seen other plants do, well the buds will be MASSIVE!! The other plants were indicas though so lets see if this 70% sativa girl will have the stem strength to lift em.

Auch die Smart Start Plugs von Zamnesia werden wieder verwendet, dieses Mal ohne den Samen vorher einzuweichen. Und die Erde und der Dünger von BioBizz findet wieder Verwendung. Tag 67: Die Membrane Hyper Autofem von VIP-Seeds wächst immer noch sehr filigran weiter. Die Blätter sind Hellgrün. Schön, dass du dir mein Tagebuch angesehen hast. Bis bald. ✋😎

D75 (04/02/2021): Glue Gelato has been in the closet for 24h. Banana Kush is ripening everyday. I might place her in the closet with light ON for one more week when Glue Gelato will be chop and in the tent drying. RH% and temperature are fine in the closet at the moment and it does not smell that strong with Glue Gelato inside. That give me an option to continue Banana Kush for more days in it. - temp in the tent: 22C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - temp in the closet: 18-19C - water: approx. 3L of tap water for Banana Kush - RH in the tent: 42% light ON ; 45% light OFF - RH in the closet: 42-44% D76 (05/02/2021): Glue Gelato has been in the closet for 48h. I will chop her tonight! I will place Banana Kush in the closet with light ON. She needs at least one more week I guess - temp in the tent: 22C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - temp in the closet: 18-19C - water: approx. 2L of tap water for Banana Kush - RH in the tent: 40% light ON ; 46% light OFF - RH in the closet: 42-44% D77 (06/02/2021): Banana Kush is in the closet and the environment is good at the moment. - temp in the closet: 18-19C - no water - RH in the closet: 42-44% D78 (07/02/2021): Banana Kush buds are getting fat. When I squeeze them I can tell that they are getting denser. She drink less water which is a sign she's getting closer to the end. - temp in the closet: 18-20C - no water - RH in the closet: 40% D79 (08/02/2021): I gave around 3L of tap water. Trichomes still look cloudy with no amber but I can see more of them and they look bigger. - temp in the closet: 20-21C - water: 3L of tap water - RH in the closet: 35-40% D80 (09/02/2021): She get frostier everyday! It's beautiful to see! She definitely have more trichomes than she had last week when she still was in the tent. The trichomes of Banana Kush are not yet at the same stage where Glue Gelato's trichomes was when I chopped Glue Gelato. I'm glad that I waited and that I did not chop both at the same time. - temp in the closet: 20-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 35-40% D81 (10/02/2021): I gave approximately 3L of tap water. She's a beauty but she's not ready. I said one more week last week... I say the same haha one more week! 😅😏 - temp in the closet: 20-21C - water: tap water, 130 PPM, PH7.0 - RH in the closet: 35-40%

Great last few weeks. Strains from sweet seed dominating. Smells. Incrediable. And i have never see a plant that alter smell between nugs such as these auto. Some. Nugs smell like banana strawberry some like lemon pledge. And others. Old clothes. And just dank cheese all on one plant ttruly incrediable to witness as a cannabis adventurer

First time growing in a long while. I set up a custom grow tent with some wood and mylar sheets. I'm using an old Rodeadro lamp for now but expecting the new Mars Hydro sometimes soon. Really doing this for the experience with no great expectations and hopeful for a fair amount of weed in the end.

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. Super happy all is good . Girls are super happy and at ease . Can’t wait to harvest but patience is key .

First Week i was trying out HPS lights both at 125w but capable of 400w, which i later Switched to two grow the jungle Jackson nemesis 250w not 200w as it said couldnt find the right model to put in. They got Regular water because i was still waiting for most of the equipment. I germinated 10seeds 5 of each and every one germinated pretty fast bout 12to20h.

Die Sorte riecht und schmeckt super fruchtig. Nach den ersten 4 Tagen trocknen wurde getrimmt hat etwas Zeit in Anspruch genommen aber es hat sich gelohnt. Fast 100g trocken was mich sehr gefreut hat. Sie riecht extrem und ist schön harzig. Eine echt schöne Sorte, da ich fruchtige Strains bevorzuge.

Week 13 : This wraps up the last week of flush for the biotabs, they got 2.5 ml/L of humic acid each feed 3x 4 pints this week. These have a real funky smell to them, cant really put my finger on it, kinda plant musty, really strong smell, maybe skunky or something, main thing is they're getting the chop soon ! Clipped a fair few leaves but the idea is a dry trim and hanging the plants whole for 10-12 days of slow drying before the cure. Man i cant wait to wrap this grow up ! These kinda grew crowded, i can tell because the biotabs and mrB's have a few branches that are anemic, small, useless, so they're all gonna go into the bubble hash, let's see if i can extract anything from these beauties ! wish me luck 🚀

Die kleinen gelben Blätter unten kann man sicherlich schon längst entfernen. Ansonsten geht es ihr super und die 4 Hauptriebe sind auf einer Höhe.

Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.
