At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Harvested these girls at the 9 week Mark I could have pushed another week or so but there were amber trichomes and the temp were getting crazy in the wardrobe this time of year but everything had turned out sweet! The girls look and smell amazing frost everywhere. Forbidden runtz is still growing see how she goes. Fastbuds are reliable ❄️💣

She has developed perfectly up to now 👍. It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days. Until then, she still has enough time to use up all her nutrients. The trichomes are already 60% milky, 30% clear and 10% amber. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each. As always, the tent was cleaned and everything checked. Have fun with the update. Obama runtz x gas tax they both are a little taller than all the seedlings as I'm smoking some.of the flower from last grow I'm seeing the more wild plants like this plants mother sister they smoke great but these 2 seedlings have a look to their leaves like some of the wild from the face off og from the gas tax Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

Later that day I installed the AutoPot reservoir and attached all hoses to the pots and reservoir. The airpump is connected aswell, and on a 18/6 timer. I added the remaining 9L to the reservoir and turned on the system. At the end of the day i added another 15L to the reservoir. The light is at 80% with an distance of 45/50 cm. LUX: 24.000 / 26.000 8-3 Temperature: 26.1 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 54% (highest) 40% (lowest) In the midday i turned off the reservoir, and at the end of the day the AutoPots were dry. I installed a SCROG net aswell that i bought a couple of days ago. The holes of the net are too big, so i will order another one with smaller holes, but for now i will use the bigger one. I disconnected the 18/6 timer of the airpump, so now it runs 24/7 on full power. I checked the PH of the reservoir and it went up to 6.3, so thats quite high, i added some PH- to 6.0 Light is at 50 cm. Welcome back, Other that the time lapse looking like an earthquake went off the RED POISONS are kicking ass the DARK DEVILS did not respond as favorably to the super soil. look like N toxicity! I thought it might have been over watering, but I let them dry out a bit this week and let them use the water left in the soil instead of watering the reservoir again. the DARK DEVILS look liked they stretched this week and there is no sign of nutrient deficiency. give them a drink on Saturday and re hydrate the soil.👍
