We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

1/26: -Lemon auto: I was THIS close to doing a partial harvest today. I'm opting to wait a couple more days, and then reassess. The trichomes somehow look less cloudy, but I'm unsure if that's related to the light on my microscope? Buds are looking delightful, smell keeps getting better. Overall, super impressed with this freebie seed. -Northern light: still doing it's thing. My overall expectations are low for this plant. Honestly, it's my 4th attempt growing this particular strain.. and I've likely done everything wrong. However, my other plant has giving me a newfound confidence. I will figure out this plants love language, even if it takes me several more grows 😂 1/29: -Lemon auto: harvested! I opted to keep a fair amount of stem since she looked a little dry and I didnt want to expedite the drying process. Will update weight before I put in jars to cure. -Northern lights: Bushiness got out of control again so I did a fairly heavy defoliation. Buds are fattening up slowly, but they overall seem like they're going to be thin and possibly somewhat airy. Remaining cautiously optimistic.

This girl keeps growing. Started shortening her light cycle as she is getting really big. I have bent the main tops so often so that the rest can catch up. She looks great thought... Love this plant.

Finally get to update she is now in a 5 gallon pot inside the @MarsHydroLED tent with the FCE4800 lamp at 50% 18in day time temp was 78F with 58%RH she is doing great right now will start LST this week next feeding will be only water she is on her 2nd 3Week feeding schedule I only use Fox Farm product's. Water is always 6.5 PH Reverse Osmosis.

I didn't really finish this diary. I took them back outdoors to finish for the last week. It finished kinda scraggly and the buds were fluffy. As soon as the bud was dry, I pressed it for the rosin...and forgot to do the diary. Decent for a freebie, but I won't be growing it again. Potency: 6/10 Yield: 4/10 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/10 Bag-appeal: 3/10

Still chugging along even though I've neglected them a little. A fun little side experiment, I learned a lot. At least I'll have flower from 6 more girls, not a complete waste.

The plant is ready to flower. I covered the soil with inputs and did a little defoliation. It is developing well.

Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.
