Couldn't help but take lots of photos this week.. Nuggets are really starting to fill out and the white hairs are beginning to brown. Lots of new trichomes without heads and a few have turned milky. Thought this would be done by now and I really need the space for my other girl thats currently stretching due to lack of light. Considering that and also not wanting to harvest prematurely, I'm trying to decide when to start the 7-14 day flushing period, any advice would be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks for stopping by 😎

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

This Is Going To Be Massive! I mixed Ocean Forest and cow shit in 4 gallons, then I added Dr. Earth 2-2-2 Fertilizer, and then the other 3 gallons of Scotts Organic. I mixed all that up and I put 2 dozen nightcrawlers in it, and planted it Straight Into It. After it grew some I topped it. Then I topped that one, and again and again lol I don't think I'm going to top it anymore though... I e Got a Tennis Net for My ScrOG net, Cause I Cant Afford Nothing (Tennis Net I Found For .75) I'm Not Feeding It Nothing But Rain Water And I Go Out When It's Been Dry And Water It In The Mornings... Tell me what you think of this jank setup lol

-Was excited to see roots shoot out basket during the beginning of the week. Then some major root growth throughout the week. -Noticed some brownish coloring on roots, thought root rot or nutrient sludge? Found out, through advanced nutrients, organic nutrients will leave a brown tinge. -pH finally where it should be. Still using GH pH testing kit to measure so no exact number. Based on their chart, yellow 6.0 -Leaves look a lighter green then I'm thinking it should be. Will add a little more nutrients during next water change in couple days. -Humidity still low! Running a temporary humidifier I already had outside closet door. Brought up humidity by 15%, but still only measuring 35% at it's highest. -Started playing music for plant about 30min/day, also talk to it a few times a day. Anyone else do this? -Disappointed in sludge build up, and mild/strong fish smell during first half of the week after water change as AN claims otherwise for this nutrient. Growth looks great besides that. -Lots of growth this 2nd week, very exciting to see, both above and below deck.

Day 1 - Ugh! Killed one of my seeds by covering it too deep and too wet😩 Trying to pop another Orange Cookies Nicole to compensate, but not sure that will play well with my 2 autos. Veg for 13 weeks and take clones before switching to flower? Fer Fucks Sake! Day 3 - Coco is finally prepped and pre-soaked in 0.6EC solution, PHd to 6.3, with normal dose of CalMag. Inoculated the two 5gal containers with 25g DynoMyco. Transplanted my two surviving little gals in their forever home this evening. Watching the (kinda old) OCN seeds to see if they're swelling - they are - but I have a lot of newer seeds I could try, too. 12/26 - My vision is that I’ll have beautiful bonsai mainlines under the canopy of the autos. I’m betting it will get completely out of hand, but WTF, worth a shot. Ok, so only one of the Orange Cookies Nicole popped, and it’s looking a little wimpy. Popped two more Grandmommy Purple from Herbie’s. The three seedlings will stay in one gallon pots until the Autos are out of the way. I’ve never tried deliberately stunting veg growth before, but I’ll probably end up getting 32 tops if I mainline the hell out of them the next 12 weeks. Will probably only have room to flower out one of the photos if I’m going to let them go that wide 🙄, but I’d rather go for it now instead of a summer grow with humidity and vacation issues… Plus, the Grandmommy Purple should be THC monsters!

This week I had to harvest the main cola of one plant (the trichomes were all white with some amber). Actually the plant didn’t appear ready at all, because the strain continued to produce white pistils. Results are 93 grams (before drying)

The Apple Betty babies have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. Things still going great. I had a bit of light burn(upturned leaf edges) so I backed off an inch or two. Other than that no major changes.

Han crecido ,se adaptaron bien a la nueva maceta de 3 litros. Hoy aplicaré BioGrow y BioEnhancer al sustrato.

D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution. D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

Starting week 4 of Flower. I expect things to slow on the upwards growth as the plant shifts focus onto the bud development. Ran out of potassium silicate. June 8: planted out first seedling into 7 gallon bag. Using peat pots as intermediate container because it is too cold here to start seeds outdoors and I don’t have room for final containers inside. After about one week roots are coming out the bottom. It was pretty cool in May with some frost nights so I’m glad I waited until June to start these.

Day 76 - The ladies are getting weight, everything's good. No signs of whiteflies at all. Some days ago I covered the SP with a shading net because the top buds were beginning to burn and the light is not dimmable. I'm going to buy the SP1000 for the next run to have a better final result. Updating in a few days 🙏
