So those girls were transfered from main room, theirs veg story you'll find in Checkpoint diary by Sweet Seeds. In reality they veged for 5 weeks, beans didn't want to sprout, so planted two more. One from first two- didn't make it... Everything with them postponed a bit and i decided to try out other training method and new version/interpretation of FIMing. They got 30 hours of darkness, looked sad a bit, but just 3 hours under new sun - they are happy as f@ck again ;))) Will feed them later today with full range of BioBizz. Will update charts. Day 6. Girls loved food, no big stretch yet ... Happy Growing !!!

Day 31 and she’s looking gorgeous and smelling danker everyday. Loving the number of tops she has going on, and her size is incredible. Definitely one I will remember. Drinking about 3 gallons per day with res changes twice a week. Was defoliated once to help with light penetration.

Week 4 of flower, had to scrap the sour diesel plant, felt it was too far gone to be saved, im sure it could of been saved cause the stem was still very green and strong but just want to focus on my 2 healthy plants, the plant that was experiencing the light stress it seems to have stopped or haven’t gotten worse so im guessing it was the nutes so I cut back on them all together for both plants, the buds are really stacking on these girls and the smell is starting to kick up, some of the pistils are starting to turn orange and these girls are really starting to look like weed

Week 7! 04/11 - Now plants are growing fast, i will leave them alone for some days... I won't stress them with defoliation or cuttings of any type at the moment... Today i tried to water them with one liter per plant, from now i will always use this amount of water 06/11 - Plants are healty and very leafly. So today i did a defoliation, removing a lot of leaves, not only biggest leaves on top like the last time The right plant is growing with a better structure than the left plant. There is also the Dinafem hybrid (most indica) "Blue Cheese" which is growing very very bushy and she's very stretchy. I hope she won't cover the other plants during the next weeks, she's very big!! 09/11 - Today i trained them a bit (LST) and i cut some small lower branches which i think they will never make it to the top. Today is the last day of vegetative stage, tomorrow i will switch them into flowering 10/11 - Switching to the flowering stage: increased power of the lamps, now it's up to 400W per lamp (total wattage is about 800W) - Only 12 hours a day (00:00 - 12:00) For now i will keep using nutrients for the vegetative stage, to increase pre-flower stretch

This was an easy cycle with some average problems, dealt with the gnats by topping the soil. anyway it was a plant that was easy to grow, a very pleasant non weedy smell around. and was ready within 70 days, i left it a couple of days more till first amber trichomes The most strains taste far better after curing, with this one i don't agree with that rule. This strain actually tastes better when it's fresh. The curing brings back more of the kush, and makes the smoke stronger, but the taste of fresh dried sugar kush is close to undescribeable.

Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go.
