Die fünfte Woche startet mit einer (Teil-)Entlaubung, das Blätterdach ist wieder sehr dicht gewachsen. Die Blätter bekommen wieder ein satteres grün. Irgendwann innerhalb der nächsten Wochen sollten sie ihr Geschlecht zu erkennen geben, noch sind sie etwas schüchtern. Ich sehe die ersten Anzeichen, kann es aber noch nicht klar deuten - abwarten und Tee trinken. Ich habe dem Wassertank meines Autopot Systems einen Luftstein hinzugefügt. Wird das einen großen Effekt bringen? - keine Ahnung. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht. So langsam zeigen sich die ersten weiblichen Vorblüten, ich kann aber noch nicht bei allen 13 Pflanzen mit Sicherheit das Geschlecht bestimmen.

This week has been a difficult one, the cold has come and it's been a struggle to keep the temperature up, yet the girls are pushing on. Smelling strong and lovely 😍 covered in sticky resin. 😋

Today is 11/17/18. This is the final day before the SWITCH to 12/12 lighting schedule. I watered with nutes of 832 ppm, ph. 6.1, temp 78. I pray I have 4 females, if not, at least 2 of the 4. Today is 11/18/18 and WOW, when i opened the tent when the lights came on, my plants had grown an entire inch over that 12 hour darkness period. I wish I had been told to leave them in the dark for 1-3 days then do the 12/12 but oh well still a great 1st time learning experience to see all this step-by-step. Today 11/23/18,watered with cal-mag only. 11/25/18, Bagseed #1 is a male, he has went to cannabis heaven, R.I.P.

Flowering process. Good weather

After the disaster with germinating the expert seeds Gorrillas, I was a bit disheartened, was so looking forward to them. But we just follow up strong by planting a Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze instead. Will be starting that diary this week, lets hope she germinates. And it looks like we might be lucky, one tiny seedling came up from the 5 expert seeds, looks like a bit of a runt now and doesnt grow as fast as the Dutch Passion Orange Hill Special. I wil put another Orange Hill in the tent if this doesnt work out. Last week was a hot week and rising temperatures inside and out of the tent, I decided to to remove the driver from the SP-3000 and put it outside of the tent. This light looks even sleeker and sexier this way. Also a dream to deinstall, 5 minutes. But my victory last week was my invention of my custom top down oscillating fan. Which comprises of a standing oscillating towerfan, hung horizontal by just making a little hole in the foot and hanging it sideways. It works like a charm. The tower has optional oscillation so I can choose to just cool the light or sway through the entire tent. Very happy with that and still very happy with the light by @MarsHydroLED, thanks so much. Week 4 update! 🌱 Week 3 is done, and the ladies are now three weeks into their flowering phase. So far, everything has gone really well. However, one bud and the plants in the front showed slight signs of potassium overfertilization, which likely caused a calcium uptake issue and led to minor necrosis. No worries, though – today I completely flushed the entire system and replaced it with a fresh solution. With this reset, everything should be back on track 💪💧. On top of that, I decided to bring out an old Cree& Osram LED lamp as a booster. This will provide the two smaller front plants with more light intensity so they can metabolize the higher nutrient levels more effectively 💡🌿. Everything is looking great so far! Eine Bud und die Pflanzen vorne zeigten jedoch leichte Anzeichen von Kalium-Überdüngung, was wahrscheinlich zu einer Kalzium-Aufnahmehemmung geführt und leichte Nekrosen verursacht hat. Kein Grund zur Sorge – heute habe ich das komplette System gründlich durchgespült und die Lösung durch eine frische ersetzt. Mit diesem Reset sollte jetzt wieder alles reibungslos laufen 💪💧. Außerdem habe ich beschlossen, eine alte Cree& Osram LED-Lampe als Booster herauszuholen. Damit bekommen die beiden kleineren Pflanzen vorne eine stärkere Lichtintensität, damit sie die höheren Nährstoffwerte besser verstoffwechseln können 💡🌿. Es sieht alles richtig gut aus! Bleibt dran, folgt mir, und lasst uns schauen, wie sich die Reise weiterentwickelt 🌺📸.

These ladies are developing very nicely, the left and middle one already started to bulk heavily over the course of the last week, while the one that got wind stress is trailing a little behind and will probably take a little longer. For the other two I would guesstimate that I can start flushing by the end of the week. The trichomes on the two are completely milky, however with no signal of amber yet

Tuning in kinda late as you can see they all trained down and spreaded around the pot. Feeding regular water coz i put biotabs in the soil, going organic this time to try to seek that difference in the taste and aroma.

It’s day 43 of flower! All of the plants look great! I’m going to start dialing back the light intensity slowly over the next couple weeks. Harvest time is getting close

I've potency was fine grow was pretty easy I thought I'd get a better yield growing outdoor tho.

Lilly x White Widow is doing good. She has finished, and is ripening well. I am just a little past when I would like to cut her. I am waiting on space in Cannatrol. So I have to cycle them in to it in 8 day gaps. Her next update will be her Harvest. I did reduce the light strength on the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights to 60 percent. She is just riding out her time flushing to her cut date. -Sensi Seeds Research: The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week 8 finished, this is where Vegging longer Indoor starts to become a waste of time,energy and money, you can go for another last week if needed but any longer than 9 weeks makes no sense ! By the way there’s just enough space left between top of canopy, the lamps, and ceiling for the Flowering stage ( keep in mind that the plants will stretch about twice in size during the stretch phase ), meaning it’s really the time to switch to 12/12 ( otherwise the plants will finish too close to the light ). For now on, the genetics are excellent, even the Black Domina didn’t mind to be topped. Seams like everyone is suitable for the ScrOG method, almost every holes are occupied by a shoot, the trellis is full at around 90 to 95 % , at least all the light coverage is used which is the main goal to reach ! Had to fed them on the 24/08 and watered them on the 27/08 to keep the soil moist but not dampened ! It’s Ganja, not water lilies in a swamp ! Unfortunately, there’s no perfect schedule for watering plants. The quantity needed by cycles depends on the size of your pots, the size of your plants and the environment, and the rule is the same for the period between two cycles. This is where you can be the only judge and you must learn to read your plants leaves (overwatering symptoms: droopy leaves with some kinds of speed bumps between the veins). SUMMARY: Due to time constraints I decided in the end to make this the last week. I checked the trichs on both plants and the Amnesia now has plenty of amber heads and the OG now also has some albeit much less. Though all trichs are at least milky with the exception of the rare clear head or 2. I did a quick flush watering with rain water only on Monday, Tues, and Thursday then left to dry until Saturday when I chopped them down. DAY 92 -------- Thursday 03/12/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 04/2020 updated schedule Week 9 Late Bloom nutes for the OG and then the Sensi Garden Peak nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.5 OG (out) = 0.6L (11%) pH 5.6 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 3.5L pH 6.4 Amnesia (out) = 1.6L (46%) pH 5.8 [0.6 drop] If my eyes don't deceive me it would appear that the Amnesia is finally starting to pack on some weight! Hopefully both will have a decent yield in 2 weeks time. The RH has been at 45-48% for the last week and the temps are consistent at 24°C and so we're right on track. DAY 94 -------- Saturday 05/12/2020 I fed the plants though gave the amnesia less volume as it doesn't need it. GWE 04/2020 updated schedule Week 9 Late Bloom nutes for the OG and then the Sensi Garden Peak nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 0.4L (8%) pH 5.3 [1.1 drop] Amnesia (in) = 3L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1L (33%) pH 5.6 [0.6 drop] The OG is drinking more and more and both plants are definitely starting to pack on some weight now and I'm very excited. DAY 95 ------ Sunday 06/12/2020 I checked the trichs on both plants and its a good job I did as the Amnesia has plenty of amber heads (possibly upwards of 30% its very hard to confirm tbh as the usb microscope is handheld and so VERY sensitive to movement - it took me best part of 30mins to get enough clear shots for me to decide the Amnesia is done). I took shots of both trichs using my usb microscope but as its cheap and the app is freeware it is awful and so just clumps all your pics together and not in any particular order, or at least not in the order they were taken and so after spending 30mins+ taking pics I don't know which are from which plant! But both have amber trich heads showing though the OG doesn't have as many as the Amnesia as expected. I wasn't going to do a flush after doing some research and seeing that its a controversial topic over whether there is any benefit and my rationale being that I'd rather the buds be as big as possible and so it made sense to feed up until chop. However I changed my mind after not being able to find a reputable source that claims flushing is not beneficial plus the general consensus is that you absolutely must flush if using synthetic nutes which I am. I will flush from now until Friday and then chop on Saturday or Sunday. DAY 96 -------- Monday 07/12/2020 I watered with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. DAY 97 -------- Tuesday 08/12/2020 I watered with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. DAY 99 -------- Thursday 10/12/2020 This should technically be week 15 as of today but as I'm chopping on Saturday its just not worth creating another flowering week in this diary. I watered both plants for the last time today, both with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. I will now let the plants dry out until harvest which will be on Saturday 12th. I have also knocked the lights off to leave them in darkness now until chop which gives them roughly 40 hours of darkness as advised by many. Apparently the darkness can somehow increase the potency though it seems this is another controversial topic and one I haven't done enough research on and so have decided to do so as all the tutorials/guides/diaries I've read do 12-72 hours of darkness before chop. If I don't chop this weekend then I'll be pushing it if I want another harvest before I go away next year. If this wasn't the case I would let these run until the Amnesia was about 50% or more amber to give the OG time to catch up as the OG genetics are much superior to the Amnesia.
