Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...

Our Purple Urkle by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing it a little more to make sure it doesn't go into flowering with small brunches but now we're there, a few days and it will go into flowering and it will be very exciting you can bet on it. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went into overfertilization due to the obvious slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but it was about to go into crisis, so we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below. The ideal when topping is probably to start with a gradual release fertilized soil or start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which by itself I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less or rather nothing. I forgot to soak the coco with nutrients before planting the seed, didn't realise coco doesn't have as many nutes to start off so that's why we're looking abit pale, had no idea about his haha But it's all good! We can sort it. they looking like there improving past few days. Watered every day 1 litre around the outside in a circle and the stem. Added calmag grow nutes and voodoo juice. Colour is coming back to the leaves Will keep doing this for next few days while there recovering. 🚑🏥

and on it goes. i don't have much to report. due to some very hot days she has been given alg-a-mic and acti-vera from BIOBIZZ for better nutrient uptake. she has grown another few centimetres, looks healthy and strong.

I guess we’ll call this the start of veg since all 4 plants are showing their starter leaves. So far so good with the front loaded soil. Keeping a close eye on them for now. Also decided to keep feeding RO water for a couple more days and then I’ll start to mix in the tap water. The demand for CalMag is low right now and my soil is already pre amended. Day5 update: not much to report, just water and wait. Bumped up the lights a bit to around 230ppfd and 12.1 DLI. That’s going off cocoforcannabis website par tests on the sf-7000. I am running the seedling mode for more blue light so not 100% sure the math is spot on, but should be close. I’m at 28” as well not the 25” they test on so that adds a variable of error.

The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Week 3 flower day 16 the ladies are getting massive and tall, i knew i did a mistake veging them too long but no worries i hold my fingers that the wont starch more then they are, im very limited in height.. anyway the plants are very healthy and they are always hungry. The CO2 is like steroids for them I reach the easy to 2.2 and I know I can push even more. I’ll do it in the next weeks. After 21 days days i going for defoliation, I don’t want to do it now to stress the plans. I prefer to do it after this stretching finish.

Day 175 Flowering is progressing and the weather has cooled down. I'm wondering when I'll start cutting back on fertilizer. I think I'll do it for another week or two. There's just a little rain this week. I think the buds are small, but they're dense.

Empezando la semana 9 de vegetación, hice una defoliación, les saqué demasiada materia vegetal, les daré entre 3 a 4 semanas más de vegeta, así que tendrán el tiempo suficiente para que sigan creciendo con fuerza los brazos. Los clones ya cumplirán una semana desde que los tire a maceta de 7 L, hice un riego con voodoo juice que me quedaba del los cultivos anteriores, en la semana subiré más fotos.

So this grow was easy barely fed nutes I felt with really cold temps I’m so far up north but it reall brought out the colours and they are amazing smells like lemon berries I like it cheers and thanks guys

Week 2 flower Day 1, Day 29 from seed. Bent her head just a little and removed a few leaf blockers! She got a tent all by herself. Smellin good now too, only one open stinking up the room! 🤤🤘 10-5 250ml 10-6 1/4 cup poo, 3 tbs buildaflower scoop of connect. 10-7 water, started a tea, 1/4 poo, kelp, yucca, cal/mag, recharge! Tried to keep it simple. 10-8 Day 34 Lovin her tea! Lst and defol, open her up a bit. Slight defol and used some clips. Fun with pictures! 😁🤘 10-9 Last day of the week! Her head and another branch took off enough for me to bend it! Was worried wasn't going to be able to. But we got her! Helped a ton!. After spacing her out, had to play musical tents!
