They are small plants compared to HighCloudZ in these 1-gallon pots. They have established heights of 52cm and 67cm. But the flower development is faster, as the higher percentage of indicas shows. They are already gaining weight and producing good resin, at just 50 days old. Next week, a larger application of ferts, in this organic living soil. The union of two great worlds. The smell is reminiscent of apple, very sour.

Fed the plants for the first time. They produced their first big fan leaves which was exciting to me. Humidifier stopped.

The Trichomes are really coming in now. White as snow. I cleaned up the bottom one more time. the purples colours are starting to show up on the upper leaves. I will be top dressing this next week and it will be the last before harvest.

MY WEED LOOKS LIKE WEED! It's sticky to the touch. My fingers smell like chocolate and mint and dankness after defol. The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. The starting to notice the smell in the room and are they ever sticky 😍 Thinking about Backbuilding/Bud Topping, does anyone have any experience with it? Seems like a tried and true method to get a better looking bud. I'd love to experiment and do some side-by-sides for future reference. July 7, 2020 update... Houston... We have lift off!!! Flowering has officially begun with all four ladies. The actual heights of the 4 ladies is as follows 24" & 26" (indoors) and 21" & 24" (outdoors). The indoor plants are also much bushier and have more nodes. The outdoor plants are looking more like old school autos just focusing on a main central cola. I gave all of the ladies a LST bend and tied them down at a 45 degree angle. This is to allow better light penetration to the lower bud sites and usually results in several branches producing fat colas, not just the top. I am starting to see some bug damage on the outdoor girls. I have been trying to use companion planting of Basil, Chives, Spearmint, and Oregano as natural bug deterrents, but that's not working as well as I had hoped. I also sprayed them once with Safer End-All. Its OMRI listed and recommended by 'The Rev' of Skunk Magazine and True Living Organic fame. I'd prefer not to spray them again, especially as they get farther into flower. Any suggestions for keeping bugs away from my girls would be appreciated - hit me up in the comments. 👍

The chop has arrived! This was a really long but fun grow! I do see why people don't like growing sativas it does take forever and is a difficult process! I will do another one for sure though! I will update one more time with the full harvest and weight once drying has finished. 11/21/2025 is when I started the dry in my tent! Currently 62F and 60% humidity

Hello, everyone. What happened with us this week - we moved our girl to another box because her height is now over 140 cm, and she started hitting the lights. I couldn't take good photos, so here's a video. The issue is that our girl was under the net in the box, and when the net was removed, she started collapsing under the weight of the buds. I ordered supports of 150 cm in height, and when I make our girl presentable, I'll take a lot of photos. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
