Preflowers everywhere 😎 She went through a serious defoliation without any issue. She drinks a lot. Hopefully the stretch should be almost done, available height is limited and I don't want to dim the QuantumBoard, it is now at full strength, 320W so 110W per board. This OG looks promising!

DAY 50 Watered with 1/2 teaspoon of molasses (and Epsom) in 2 litres of water. 💧 I am actually probably being a helicopter parent... 🚁 flap flap flap.. 😅 The buds fill up nicely. I will give her a slight feeding next time. These autoflowers get a lot of DPI when the lights are running 18h, I think that I really need to adjust my nutes in the future. So first I had a toxicity, then I ran into deficiency. All my fault. Now the girl is looking fine, trichome production is in full progress and I can't wait to see what the buds will do now. 😍 🐽 As for the feeding, I will go for a 100% Biobizz Allmix Schedule (soft) for flowering week 5/6 with 3ml/L bloom nutes and raise Calmag a bit. 15th of October Sry for the delayed update, but was quite busy with my work lately. Anyway, on the 15th of October, it was the big day of harvesting this beauty. 6 1/2 months ago in April it germinated. And now after 9 weeks of flower finally it’s harvest time. The past 2 weeks the weather was nasty af. But this steadfast soldier was bravly withstanding this ass sucking conditions. Only few buds I had cut out because of mold. The rest has beautiful shiny milky trichomes that makes me happy😊. I think they would have needed 2 more weeks to really thicken up, but the weather is gonna be worst in the next weeks :(. So better chopped now. In the last weeks I was super worried to loose my whole harvest to the every day high humidity. I even wanted to chop it earlier. But got good recommendation from the community to be still patiened. That hint was very rewarding, Thanks guys. I will also make another week for the harvest, don’t worry 😊

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. In the dark for 48 hours on day 89, chopped day 91. After full dry and cure I ended up with 80 grams dry yield buds. She out stretched my tent (60") twice, still yielded very well. Flower came out as tight, slightly dark purple to green flower with orange hairs. Smells earthy, herbal, nothing overwhelming. Smokes great, flavor is very similar to the nose earthy, slightly herbal with a gassy finish faintly present. Feels fairly potent, definitely a heady high, and unfortunately munchies induced activity increased. Overall a great first run with Zamnesia seeds autoflower, if and when running again SCROG almost seems required.

The Strawberry’s received 1.5 liters 3 times this week. A big week for defoliation and lollipop. It is evident that topping an asymmetrical plant does create 2 tops. SC1 has 2 tops but at this late week, I wont amount to much. If you have an asymmetrical plant just train and not top. The 6 Strawberry plants are huge for 7 weeks. Originally, I was planning to wait until January to transplant, however, the roots were showing out of the bottom of the pots, and every plant is over a foot tall and half are over 2 feet any larger they would be unmanageable.. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. These are heavy feeders. All showed some nitrogen deficiency earlier on and I’ve increased feeding. I planned to use grow dots extended for photo period plants when I transplanted them to 5 gal. I asked Santa in early November, and he kept sending notice that the order had been delayed. So, I decided to use TPS1 for this grow. I flipped to 12/12 on 12/28 and will water only this week in hopes of reducing the stretch. I must admit; I took on more than I can handle. I started these in November expecting them to be much smaller at 6 weeks. But no, these gals have grown with vigor. I had these 6 huge plants and 4 autos in the 4X4 tent. They grew faster and bigger than the autoflowers am used to growing. Christmas week was hectic with 5 harvests, 6 transplants and defoliation. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. I asked a question on a triple leaf set on one of the Cadillac’s. See Pic above. It is a gene mutation. It is not a true triploid as all the nodes are not triple. There is one other location that has one. It looks like there are bud nubs in the crease. A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy 🧑‍🌾 positions I need when I go to the beach 😉. still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.

Day 53 - ripening up! She’s reduced her water intake down to one or less than one liter per day. Smell is phenomenal and strong - like spicy bubblegum almost although I have a post covid sinus infection so my nose is pretty stuffy still. I’m thinking 2-3 weeks MAX until I chop her. She seems ahead of or right on track for “estimated harvest time” from the breeder. Top colas are primarily cloudy trichomes and some clear and amber. Lower bud sites are cloudy/clear trichs. I think I’ve a tendency to harvest a little early so we will see how long I can push her before I feel it’s chop time. I suspect that will be dependent obviously on the trichomes, pistils and bract size but also overall health of fan and sugar leaves which seem to be fading due to senescence, improper ph maybe and cold night temps. Ordered an apera gs1 ph pen as I’m pretty sure my current pen hasn’t been accurate the past month or so. Also ordered a blumat watering system for next grow (chicken n waffles from Humboldt seed company). My vcure arrives this week so I’m really excited for when I chop this plant and dry/cure her in it.

Just got back from a 10-day vacation and the Gorilla Melon has completely lost its mind! The AutoPot system worked flawlessly—the reservoir ran bone dry literally right as I walked through the door, so talk about perfect timing. The girl absolutely exploded during the summer heatwave and turned into a massive jungle monster, to the point where she’s literally knocking on the ceiling fan. The thrips are still a problem, though. The green lacewing larvae did not win the war while I was away. I will need to cut some leaves that don't look good and do a major cleanup. In just a few minutes, I’m taking the trimmers out to hack about 50 cm off the top to control her height and completely strip the bottom third for some fresh airflow. But overall, we are still in a good mood. Time to shape her up!

Well I was gone for 10 days and came back to absolutely astronomical growth! Must of grown a foot and a half at least! No signs of pistils yet, which means she's got another foot even before the pre flower stretch! What the heck have I gotten myself into. Did some minor defoliating, mostly removing growth tips below the 4th or so node, and LST clips to try and control height and canopy. All she had while I was done was 90min drip irrigation every 3 days and a quick spray of LCPT.
