Wow well we’re do I start. Absolute dream to grow Smelt strong of citrus and oranges , was amazing to smell , After just 5 days of drying and 1 week of curing the result was imense. Absolute knockout weed with an orange taste and a smooth on the throat. One of the best I’ve taste. Highly recommend

The permanent markers are doing alright. They're still really short compared to the others, but they're finally starting to take off. I can kinda see them catching up soon. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

5/31 Week 10 and the state of the grow is winding up I know Baba looks like hell, her buds are in danger of breaking some of the branches so I have everything kind of falling in on itself supported by bamboo. Harvest Sally and Athena yesterday leaving only Jane Baba and Cleo (my wife's) in the tent so turning down the lights a bit they are getting plenty Water only not much to do till harvest 6/3 Just nothing going on, giving them water Baba seems done now little further hair growth or bulking, harvest in a day or so, real busy with other projects so no promises 6/4 Yield from Sally and Athena wet - 650 grams dry - 151 grams about 5 oz, so with Baba still left to harvest looks like we good for an holiday season grow of this strain next winter. Cannot believe how thick the trics are on these two and the one left is even more frosty. Baba harvest tomorrow not sure about the twin 6/5 Harvest day for Baba only Jane remains Baba wet - 533 grams Running totals so far : Wet - 1188 grams Dry - 151 grams (expect to double this) Looks like we almost matched our numbers on the first two plants as expected. Prob a good 10 ounces on the grow not great but a good grow none the less with 8 months of medicine so this strain is on the schedule for November. Arranca la semana con una solución más cargada y las plantas atadas al limite. No puedo imaginar lo que deben ser las raíces. Pero hasta ahora la solución está siempre limpia. Los EMRO están funcionando a la perfección. Espero que empiecen a formarse bien las flores. Día 17. Empezó el engorde. El estirón frenó. Ahora voy a esperar que las flores empiecen a tomar forma para luego hacer una defoliación y el último guiado, y así dejar todas las flores con una exposición a la luz de forma pareja. Estoy bastante contento y satisfecho con lo que vengo observando. Día 20. Hice una defoliación de las hojas superiores. Cómo solamente tengo hasta 3 nudos debajo de la cabeza con flores, saqué las hojas grandes de arriba que hacían sombra a las flores bajas. De esa forma las flores de arriba desarrollan un poco más las hojas pegadas a las flores, pero no tanto como para hacer gran sombra. Y las flores del 3er nudo, se siguen alimentando de las hojas grandes que dejé. Este corte lo hice hace años en un SCROG de critical mass, y obtuve muy buenos resultados. Ahora a esperar el tan preciado engorde. Día 21. Las flores ya empiezan a ganar volumen camino a su formación. Se las ve cambiando día a día. Por el momento sólo puedo agradecer que no ha habido inconvenientes. La solución se mantiene increíblemente limpia, siendo que por el volumen y amontonamiento de raíces que debe haber en los caños, debería haber aunque sea algo. Pero las EMRO vienen haciendo su trabajo bastante bien, así que fue una excelente inversión, y bastante accesible en precio. Mañana arranca la 4ta semana. Espero que sea una semana de grandes avances.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Everything is going great Royal Gorilla is the farthest along . It is very compact and starting to get a little frosty. Green Gelato is the second farthest along. Doing well. It is very spaced out LSD is coming along. I think because it has probably double the branches, it is taking longer to develop HulkBerry was put into 12/12 4 days later but is looking good. Plant structure is very similar to the Green Gelato

Great week, this is one of the best growth I've worked on. I'm watering everyday about 0,75L per plant and add 3 days a week nutrients. I'll increase to 3ml/L of Terra Bloom from now on.

The Royal Cheese Automatic stop growing the branches on top only the two lowest branches grow even further... So I bend her down so that the low branches can get the new tops... Hope this will work. All the other plants doing good and growing along nicely!

The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all.
