The Mimosa ladies are now starting to bloom 🎉 I hope they don't stretch too much though. The light is almost at the highest position because I want to prevent another light stress episode. Ofcourse there is always supercropping, but I want to prevent any stress at this point. I'm slowly switching to bloom nutrients but in small amounts. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures later this week ☘️😀 The two plants in the back are full in bloom, but the one in the front is kind of a late-bloomer. It may make a sprint to the finish, but otherwise I will harvest the two other plant and leave this one to bloom a bit longer. We still have 4 to 5 weeks ahead of us and so much can happen in a few weeks. I'm very happy about how the plants made their recovery after the light stress. They look great and seem in good condition.

Sorry lovelies, I've been a bit lazy with my diary the last few days. This is probably due to the brilliant effect of Dark & Big Devil 😈, which slowly reach their full potency through exact curing. Incredibly pleasant feelings, all day long. I'm super chilled, stimulated, but not tired for the time being. But now I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer and talk a little bit about the care last days, with my "Long-Life-Automatic" ;-)) Sour Jealousy. A few days ago, my relatively new oscillating ProFan started to rattle. After all, it always got stuck in one place. So I went to get another oscillating fan (RAM) for my new home box. In the process, I developed a new ventilation strategy. The ProFan can't turn anymore, but at least it's wonderfully straight! ;-) so in the future he will aerate the plants around the 20 l fabric pots in a well-circulating manner. Since the new Home Box has a height of 2.20 m, there may even be one more fan in the grow space. What I want to say is the following: I have now implemented this idea in the 80 box for a few days and the plant reacts excellently. The only important thing is that the draught indirectly envelops the root area. I have the impression that it works even more efficiently, like a machine. Also, I really have to say that I've never experienced such a voracious sativa phenotype before. Namely, one that literally eats the hair off my head. 🤣 The harvest of the two Sweet Seeds seems like a long time ago. I didn't expect such a long "overtime" either. However, I am happy to have received so much new input. You never stop learning. I assume that it will take about 2 weeks from now on, until the harvest. Again, she takes her time. Incredible. So many white hairs more. She now greases the grapes nicely, just a sativa monster! 👺 And eats and eats and eats. The colas are fully stocked from bottom to top and the scent almost robs me of the little sanity I have left. 🤣 The diameter of the main stem is 4.5 cm. Absolute record so far. I have also bought new supply air systems, and a Flexi-Tray as a protective pan for the Home Box. I even managed to get hold of fixture poles to be able to use the Home Box more efficiently. Among other things, I have significantly improved the recirculating air situation. I think every ambitious grower should think twice about this: the convection! An important topic, in my opinion. In my case, this means one in the root area, one oscillating on the leaf roof and one at lamp height to distribute the heat better. I also let the compost tea ferment for almost 40 hours and each time half an hour before pouring, a level teaspoon of Bactrex was added - with full aeration. Thus, the soil life literally explodes and works...! And I combine it with the Bio PK Booster from Biotabs. I like the combination of both. I use the PK Booster in a slightly lighter dosage than indicated. Because my tea version, I think, hits quite a bit every time. After all, it says: “Stop feeding your plants, start feeding your soil.” Organic farming - my passion to grow! Soon I will redeem my darling... Looks very juicy! Maybe tomorrow sun again until Monday and from Monday morning 48 hours of absolute darkness with full circulating air and exhaust air circulation. I think you can't use a HS 80 more efficiently. I'm enjoying the last few days with my good old Secret Jardin HS 80. It offered me excellent quality and quantity. The material was disproportionately well processed at the price level. Only the corners I reinforced with self-adhesive aluminum foil. And what I find so cool about my Hydro Shoot is and was: It’s ideal for bedroom cultivation. But it's really time for a technology change. The plants were so crowded I decided to put them into a Larger tent to allow some light to the lower bud sites and to help lower the humidity amongst the plants. I'm sure they will love the extra space. The light has now been raised 20cm (20cm taller tent) Allowing me to turn out right up which is 45000 lux in the centre right below it. I will up the bloom to 2ml/l this coming week.

day 42: LOTTA leaves, had to defoliate 2-3 times. they started to show their first pistils a couple days before the Ayahuascas, hope I can do a harvest before May,(the Peyotes) but it seems really tricky..unfortunately I need to leave them for a week in April. I'm pretty scared to leave them alone at the end of flowering... Day 43: do you think the leaves on 2 plants might be too dark green? Thanks! day 46: defoliating

She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower. Start of week 4. Week 3 went very well, even though this girl is losing more leaves that the OG kush, they yellow and die quicker, she's still developing nice bud sites and is starting to stank and get sticky.

First day of week 6! Looks like what transplant shock I was afraid of never materialized so that's a plus. I did however discover 2 things that have been bothering me. The first was random discoloration and spotting on some leaves, I had no idea that it was due to me spilling watering nutrients on the leaves, so I dug a small canal around the main stem of the plant. Now I just pour water evenly around the canal. The second was, why is my plant so small. Most other Blue Dreams I've seen seem to get really tall and stretch upwards. Mines just seems to get bushier. After more and more research, and probably one of the most obvious things to more experienced growers, is that it's not stretching so much because it doesn't need to. So at least my light is on point. I watered regularly today for the first time since transplant, but only used a quarter of a gallon.

I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch.
