Semana 1 floración Exterior

So missed a lot of weeks in between here and now as life got busy, its ok, shit happens. Gotta focus on the real world and no so much diaries on a site for free... Plants are doing well. had a bit of a issue with some PH in the medium, it got out of wack, or something in the fertilizer reacting with something in the sprayer chamber, noticed before when adding the nutrient solution into the sprayer there was some steam/mist/vapour coming off of it. During this I accidentally over used PH down and then used some PH up to fix it, but I think it did not like this. The result was some leaf burning on all the plants, it did not like that. So now I know to toss it out and start again if I can. I also bleached out the sprayer at beginning but thought I rinsed out all the remaining bleach, even ran a Vit C through it as it will neutralize bleach but I might have missed the lip of the sprayer or part of its manual air pump handle mechanism. Also noticed I was underfeeding them a fair bit in veg weeks, was so scared of stressing them out into early flower it happened anyway. I increase feeding to aorund 700ppm on my pen or aorund 1.4EC, ideally I'll stay at 1.2-1.4 EC for the rest of the grow unless they showing they really want more. The runoff has been stable on PH and about 200PPM different from whats going in, meaning they are eating when I am giving them and they may want more. at least some of them. I have a feeling a small amount of burn will happen on the smaller ones at 1.4EC. Well see how it goes.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Temperature on the high side with a heat wave in middle of the summer. Plant seems to be thriving though and stacking on some weight. Last feed given to the plant as I'm guessing havest is only a few weeks away.

Mintz runtz auto is doing okay, she is building her colas and starting to get a aroma. I did a solution change on her today, along with some defoliation. It was looking like the light was too strong. So I turned it down to 75 percent. Sorry I was away for a bit. Spilt a pint of beer and then a pint of water on my laptop and had to get it repaired. Lost everything on my SSD so tryna build back. We're now in the penultimate week, i'm using Dragon Force from Shogun for a final boost before I flush next week. I have added a dehumidifier into the mix. Had some issues initially with the reservoir filling up to quick and emptying it being a pain so I attached the pipe to drain water back into the oxypot. Unfortunately I connected it badly and it leaked into the tent creating a spicy situation. I managed to mop up the water and reconnect it so it now drains correctly into the oxypot. It seems to be working. I had it set to 50% these last few days and it reduced the RH from 70% to 51%. I've now set it to 40% to try and boost that last minute resin production. Got 4 clip on fans and the airflow relatively high to keep the air as fresh and dry as possible. Had some rot on the last crop, determined to not let that happen this time. I removed the second OHS plant because it was stunted and the 2nd Morpheus plant was so large she could use the space and has done nicely. The morpheus 2 is dominating the space but has absolute monster colas so I forgive her. There's this mutant bud pictured. Wasn;t sure what was going on so after doing some research it seems it's either polyploidism or fasciation. I'm not exactly sure how to tell the difference but it looks cool as hell and I've excited to harvest, trim and smoke that badboi.

Week 2, first grow ever. Not to moist anymore :)

The ladies are really putting on some height this week! Starting to smell good too. At the end of my video you can see the little plant that could - was originally going to trash it but it started coming back so I gave it a little spot in the corner to fill in. Getting her repotted this week. My AC Infinity self-watering fabric pot bases came in as well, really excited to get that going tomorrow.

This week I found fungus gnats I added sticky boards and mosquito bits. A small amount of fading on oldest leaves. I did a small defoliation of the yellow fan leaves. I added bone meal to the top layer of soil and worked it in. Water at 6.5.

Start of week 3 of flowering for plants 2 & 3. They are showing signs of heat stress, three days last week temps in the grow room reach 35°c. Aside from some heat stress, the plants still look healthy and the bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation of each plant, removing the dying leaves and some of the ones showing signs of dying.

DISCLAIMER END Plant grew a little this week, is still way to small and also full on in bloom. Drastically increased distance to the light from 30cm to almost 60cm, I always used to do that in previous grows but for some reason thought I had to do 30cm this time !? could also be a reason it didn't grew as usually. The mutation I found on leaf grew bigger. Will move the plant some when next week in to a smaller plant since it will not grow much bigger anymore. Added a new light to the tent, the Kingbrite P55 320W, when the plant is moved it will be back under the Mars Hydro SP3000. Switched to 24h light on the last day. Values are average of the day.
